Falling in Love

  Twilight looked at the clock. Then she looked at Applejack. Then back at the clock. Was Rarity not coming?

  "Ah don't think Rares is comin' tonight," Applejack said.

  "I think you're right, AyJay." Twilight gasped. "Oh, uh... is it okay if I call you AyJay?"

  "Yeah, Twi." AyJay looked down at the table. There was a book titled, Slumber Party 101. "What's in th' book? Ah'm kinda bored. "Is there anythin' interestin' in there w' wanna do?"

  "Hm... let's look." A magic field formed around the book and Twilight's horn. She flipped the pages and got to a checklist.

  "This checklist is important for your first slumber party. If you do at least three of the things on this list, your sleepover will be officially  fun!" Twilight read out loud. "Okay... first on the list is Truth or Dare."

  "Ah dunno, Twi." AyJay shook her head. "Ah reckon a round o' Truth 'r Dare would be kinda hard with only two ponies..."

  "Well, how about we just go right ahead? Let's give it a shot. You first."

  "Oh, kay, Twilight? Truth or Dare?"

  "Hm... dare."

  Applejack smirked. "Well, Ah dare ya to go outside an' yell that ya'll is a nerd."

  Twilight gasped. "Okay, I'll do it." The unicorn walked outside, into the edge of her walkway. She shouted, "I AM A NERRRRD!"

  Applejack started to giggle and then busted out laughing. Twilight had forgotten that it was raining outside, and she was soaked. "Twilight! Ya look wetter than a fish underwater! Ha-ha!"

  Twilight rolled her eyes. "Laugh all you want, but you'll never get me to-" She started laughing. The two were laughing their flanks off. Applejack remembered it was time for Twilight to ask her Truth or Dare.

  "Ah pick truth!" AyJay said, before Twi could say anything.

  "Tell me the truth about who grabs your interest. You know, like guys."

  "Guys? Twi, it's about time ah told ya th' truth... Ah'm gay..."

  "Oh... well AyJay... I got you to things you can spill everything out to. My left and right ears." Twilight said, paying close attention.

  "Well, ah always thought stallions were to rough on me... n-not in that way. But the mares always understood me. So ah reckon, Ah'll just go an' have feelings for the same sex. Why does it always have t' be the opposite gender?" Applejack laid her head down. "Ah mean, it's natural to be gay now... but ah just thought mah family would be a little confused... and ah know Pinkie would be fine with it because she's gay herself. But... oh, sorry. Am ah rambling again? Sorry again."

  "Applejack, you're hiding yourself from your family! Who you really are is not known by Big Mac, AyBee, Granny Smith, and all those other ponies in your family." Twilight touched her hoof. "You need to be what your heart tells you to be."

  "Wow..." AyJay smiled. "Thanks for listening to me, Twi. And thanks for the advice."

  "Your welcome." Twilight nodded. "You want some s'mores?"

  "Yeah, ah'm pretty hungry."

  Twilight used her magic to bring square graham crackers, marshmellows, chocolate, whipped cream, plates and matches.

  "What's the whipped cream for?" AyJay asked.

  "It's for the marshmellow, I bet it'll taste delicious." Twilight licked her lips.

  Applejack smiled and picked up a marshmellow. She put it up near the fire that Twilight had set up using the matches. It turned goldish and gooey. She put it on a graham cracker. Suddenly another graham cracker and a piece of chocolate surrounded by a sparkly pink force was placed on Applejack's unfinished s'more. The pink field disappeared.

  "Um, your welcome." Twilight took a bite of her own.

  Applejack took a bite from the one on her plate. It tasted delicious. AyJay then took the whipped cream. She sprayed some in her mouth. Then sprayed some it the other pony's mouth.

  They both giggled.

  "I think it's time to get to bed." Twilight said, yawning.

  "Yeah, ah'm beat." Applejack said, stretching her hooves.

  Twilight pulled out the extra mattress from under her bed. She assembled the frame and legs.

  "Thanks, Twi. Goodnight." AyJay said.

  Twilight said goodnight and waited until she was asleep. She had some feeling for AyJay. The purple pony decided to do some research. She headed down to the library.

  She found many books about romantic relationships. But one caught her eye.Same Sex Relationships.

  Twilight opened the book.

Chapter 1: How To Know if you're Gay

You know you're gay if there is this pony you meet who you have grown a great bond with. This particular pony has a stronger bond with you than anyone else. And this pony is beautiful. And you have an unknown feeling for them- you're in love.

You also can tell if this pony is so sexy your eyes will fall out.

  She finally figured it out.

  Twilight was in love with Applejack.

  The next morning, Applejack woke up to find Twilight was already up. The front room was a mess! There were books scattered everywhere. And Twilight was reading more and more of the Same Sex Relationships book.

  "Twi, what happened?"

  A refreshed looking Twilight looked up at her. "Oh, I woke up before you, so I decided to read. And I was looking for a particular book, so the place is a mess."

  "Oh, okay. I'm gonna make breakfast. On me." Applejack said.

  Twilight turned from her book to look at the mare. "No, you are my guest. I should do the cooking."

  "But ya made dinner last night, Twi."

  "I insist."

  Applejack looked around. "Uh, okay then."

  AyJay looked at the book Twilight was reading.

Same Sex Relationships? The farm mare thought. Why does she need to read a book like that? The earth pony then looked at the page she was reading. How To Know if you're Gay.

  "Is Twilight gay?!" She whispered to herself.

  "AyJay! Breakfast is ready!" Twilight called.

  Twilight set pancakes, eggs and bacon (mmm, bacon) on the table. Applejack approached the table and her pancake was shaped like a heart. She saw the message, "Turn around." She did jut so, and a purple mare jumped on her.

  Applejack saw that Twilight was kissing her. She was right. Twi was gay.

  Twilight stopped kissing her. "I'm sorry."

  "No, it's fine." AyJay smiled.
