They say my father comes from a long line of gentlecolts. Well, if they were anything like my father somepony bribed the authors of the history books. Celestia is Great-Great Aunt. My mother was the daughter of the Marquis of a patch of land in Maris. My father married her last minute. He made her to through a series of plastic surgeries just to please him. They had my two older brothers a year after their marriage. Silk Tie went to Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns and he married a pompous old windbag who died and he inherited all her wealth. My other brother became a doctor at a small clinic in Ponyville, where he married the daughter of an Orange, Applejack is nice. And that leaves me, Glimmer Ribbon. I'm a girl, so apparently I have to marry a royal to support my family. I've been engaged since I was four. I've only met Prince Hattermane once, he seemed nice enough. I'm to marry him in two years, when I come of age. My parents are thrilled. I've currently run away from seven private schools. My father is furious with me when I do this. Once I almost got to Ponyville before I got captured by his goons. I have three psychologists, all who don't understand that my running away isn't me escaping my problems instead of facing them, it's my family. It's stereotypical, my father's not who everyone thinks he is, my mother's always trying to get me to fix my appearance, and I have to act like a proper young filly, or else.

So here I am going to Celestia's Academy again. My dad threatened to sell my dog to the taxidermist. At least at Sweet Apple Acres Wheatley will have birds to chase. I'm supposed to have roommates here. I hope they won't interfere with my work. I've got to go, It's time for the train ride. Dad sent bodyguards with me, to make sure I don't run.
