//-------------------------------------------------------// High Society Mare -by Three-Patch-Problem- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Two:A New Arrival, A New Friend //-------------------------------------------------------// Two:A New Arrival, A New Friend Dear Diary, So as it turns out I do have roommates. Three actually. There's Spice Log, a unicorn with a brown body and a red and pumpkin mane. Her eyes are green, like swamp muck. She's thin as the pencil I write with. She has her cutie mark, it's oddly enough, a wand. She says her talent is magic. She's obnoxious and proud. Next up is Primrose, the youngest here, she has a light pink body and a dark green mane with pale blue eyes. She's quiet and loves animals. Next up is the royalty of our group, Lightning Sky, or rather, Princess Lightning Bolt Sky. She's rebellious and intrusive, with a golden coat, purple eyes and a midnight blue mane. I like her. Our house mother is named Wisteria Mittens. I'm not kidding. She has a high squeaky voice. Apparently others have heard about my engagement, because Hattermane lives in the house next door. He always blushes when he sees me, turning his cherry blossom face red, it's kind of cute. We wear uniforms now. And there's a forcefield over the school. So,no chance of escape. Wonderful. The most unexpected thing happened today. Lightning Sky sat down and took my lucky pen. "Whatcha doing?" She asked, glancing at my notebook. "A journal." I answered making sure my voice sounded irritated. "So you're engaged. Huh?" She awkwardly tried to make conversation. "You realize it's frivolous to connect with me? Right?" I said in hushed yelling. "Do you like Lord of the Rings?" She asked. "What?" "Do you like Lord of the Rings?" "Yes...." "Favorite Character?" "Sunrise Gardener." "Mine's Morning Sun." "Second Favorite?" "Either Gandalf or those two hobbit stallions, Merry and Pip?" "Same." And that's how I met my first friend, Lightning. Even if school or home was driving me insane, I knew I could always release around Lightning. She wants to sign her name in the book, so I'll stop here. Love, Glimmer. (And Lightning Sky, my awesome best friend!) //-------------------------------------------------------// One:The History of My Life,( up until now) //-------------------------------------------------------// One:The History of My Life,( up until now) Dear Diary, They say my father comes from a long line of gentlecolts. Well, if they were anything like my father somepony bribed the authors of the history books. Celestia is Great-Great Aunt. My mother was the daughter of the Marquis of a patch of land in Maris. My father married her last minute. He made her to through a series of plastic surgeries just to please him. They had my two older brothers a year after their marriage. Silk Tie went to Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns and he married a pompous old windbag who died and he inherited all her wealth. My other brother became a doctor at a small clinic in Ponyville, where he married the daughter of an Orange, Applejack is nice. And that leaves me, Glimmer Ribbon. I'm a girl, so apparently I have to marry a royal to support my family. I've been engaged since I was four. I've only met Prince Hattermane once, he seemed nice enough. I'm to marry him in two years, when I come of age. My parents are thrilled. I've currently run away from seven private schools. My father is furious with me when I do this. Once I almost got to Ponyville before I got captured by his goons. I have three psychologists, all who don't understand that my running away isn't me escaping my problems instead of facing them, it's my family. It's stereotypical, my father's not who everyone thinks he is, my mother's always trying to get me to fix my appearance, and I have to act like a proper young filly, or else. So here I am going to Celestia's Academy again. My dad threatened to sell my dog to the taxidermist. At least at Sweet Apple Acres Wheatley will have birds to chase. I'm supposed to have roommates here. I hope they won't interfere with my work. I've got to go, It's time for the train ride. Dad sent bodyguards with me, to make sure I don't run. Love, Glimmer
