"I think the dress is great!" Lyra, Colgate and Moon Dancer all agreed.
"Just fix the dress, ok?" Cadence grumbled and stormed off." The three bridesmaid ponies shrugged and followed. Cadence stopped in her tracks.
"Ladies, come over here, will you? Cadence opened a door with her magic. the knob glowed green as it flew open. The three unicorns smiled and followed obediently into the room where the princess had led them.
"Sit down." She said harshly. The three ponies winced at the fierce tone and nodded quickly.
Cadence's horn flashed green. The glowing green magic seized Lyra's head and she curled in a fetal position and groaned. Moon Dancer and Colgate gasped. They got up to run but they too were seized by the princess's strange spell.
"Make sure that neither of them make it out. Do you understand?!" Cadence snarled. The three unicorn's eyes were a minty green and a blank expression had already streaked their faces. Cadence closed her eyes and zapped another powerful ray of magic. A lime-green ring of fire surrounded the three unicorn ponies and sent them sinking slowly into the floor of the castle.
Cadence laughed. She was now sure that "Princess Mi Amore Cadenza" and that pesky little Twilight Sparkle would never even dream of escaping the under ground crystal caves. Now all she had to do was imprison Twilight.
The three unicorns stood there blankly. There was nothing to do. Lyra, Moon Dancer, and Colgate had been brain washed. Now, all there was to do was wait. They needed to wait. They had to wait to see if Cadence, the real Cadence, would make it this far out of the crystal caves. Would they ever make it out of these caves?! And what did Cadence mean by "the real Cadence"? If she was not Cadence, who was? These thoughts rushed through the blind sub conscious of Lyra, Moon Dancer, and Colgate.
"This way!" Twilight's echoed voice rang over the walls of the crystal caves. A short groan echoed and a flash of pink illuminated through a hall in the caves. A small flash make its presence adjacent to Lyra, Moon Dancer, and Colgate. Twilight and Cadence (the real Cadence of course.) gasped as they saw the three unicorn brides maids turn around, slowly and ominously. Their glassy eyes flashed a hollow, venomous green as they stepped closer and closer to Cadence and Twilight. They were closing in.
"Your not going anywhere." they said at the same time. Their united voices buzzed and vibrated through the cave walls. At the last word, "anywhere", their eyes flashed brighter. Twilight Sparkle and Cadence back up hastily, Twilight's face swam with a clueless and utterly frightened expression. Cadence looked shocked that her own bridesmaids were dazed, hypnotized and completely turning on her. A suddenly confidently expression crossed her face and she pulled out a bouquet of lilies.
She shook the bouquet in front of the bridesmaids, teasing them. Their "bridesmaids-ness" kicked in and their eyes widened and as Cadence flung the bouquet to the side of the cave room, the three unicorns threw themselves at it and shrieked:
"I wan't it!!!!" Their voices echoed around the caves.
Lyra shoved Moon Dancer to the side and was crawled over by Colgate. Moon Dancer grabbed their manes with both hooves and dragged them back wards. Colgate and Lyra flailed their arms and broke free, the three unicorns fell into a squabbling, scuffling, and screaming mass of unicorns wrestling and tumbling over them selves to get to a small bouquet of white lilies.
"I wan't it!!!" Colgate screamed, Moon dancer shoved herself over Colgate and reached for the flowers.
"It's MINE!!!!!" Lyra jumped over Moon Dancer and was wrestled down by Colgate and Moon Dancer as they both grabbed Lyra's back legs while she was still mid-leap.
Meanwhile, Chrysalis was battling Cadence in the room of the wedding. Cadence had harnessed the power of her love for Shining Armor.
"NOOOO!!!!!!!!!" Chrysalis screamed as every changeling in Canterlot was expelled out of Equestria in a single powerful blast.
The same blast that caused Cadence to defeat the wicked changeling queen, Chrysalis, caused a rhythmic rumbling that awakened the bridesmaids. They looked up and around them selves from their scuffling. the powerful blast that shut out the changelings had cured and purified Lyra, Moon dancer, and Colgate. The sickening green that plagued the complexion of their eyes cleared into a healthy white. They all blinked and gasped. Their dresses were ripped, dirty, and torn.
Moon Dancer leaped to her hooves and helped Colgate up.
"What happened?!" Colgate fretted as the two mares made an effort to aid the sore and bruised Lyra. They all ached with physical and psychological pain and sorrow. They had bruises and cuts all over them. Memory of them sub consciously battling each other over a petty bunch of flowers flooded their brains and minds. they all apologized sincerely and stood there awkwardly for a few moments before they realized that they were still trapped in the caves.
Which way did Twilight and Princess Cadence go again?! they all deeply regretted being so absorbed in the bouquet.
"This way!" Lyra had remembered which way the two ponies had gone. As soon as they got to their senses and their hooves they limped and galloped over to what they had realized to be the exit. A pink light glowed from atop the crystallized ceiling. The three unicorn mares looked up and saw a pink flash come and gently gather them up. They were being levitated. Lyra, Moon Dancer, and Colgate passed and glided smoothly and swiftly through the layers of crystal and earthy rock. they found them selves reach through the floor of the castle. they looked around and saw Cadence.
"Princess...? Lyra started. She peered closely at the weary pony. She looked just as beat up as she did. But Cadence was smiling lovingly at them.
"I'm so glad you three are all safe." Cadence all reached over to embrace them.
"Is... is that r-really you?" Moon Dancer whispered. Cadence broke from the hug and smiled. She nodded.
"Princess Cadence..." Colgate sniffled.
"Don't worry. Chrysalis won't bother us again." Cadence promised.
The three unicorns were glad to be safe again.
But they were even more glad to have Cadence back.
