This is my first attempt at using first person, present tense to tell a story through the eyes of a character as it happens. I found that it limits the narrative options in some ways, while opening up other options that might not be as accessible.
Cadence is a character I've never really thought about very much. Stil, she's a mature, compassionate woman, and it was surprisingly fun to explore what might be going through her mind during a slightly non-traditional, lopsided sexual encounter like this one.
