Journal of a Brave general

Day 1

We have arrived at the location of the battle front line but no enemies are here for now. The princesses told all of the generals to order the men to set up
battle preparations and tents. I myself am itching to fight and kill The dark emperor so he calls himself.

As we were setting up our tents, some of my men say that there was a dark figure wandering around on the inside of the dark force field. I have never seen it myself, but i do feel it watching us. Right now as I write, I feel it near but i can't see it. I want to see what it is. I fear that we may be attack later tonight but my men and I will take care of it.

I was woken up to the sound of a large scram, but nopony else was. I know that it was real because I saw what made the noise and i can feel it screaming at me. For what I saw was the figure of many things, I can’t tell what it was I was seeing but the dark figure was changing it’s shape and size. Even though i had only a few moments of watching it, i can still feel it’s evil presence in me.

Many hours have passed and i can’t get any sleep tonight.i decide that if I can’t sleep, I will take the night watch. I ordered the soldier to call it a day early but he looked at me with surprise for I have not stayed up this late since boot camp. As I watch the field i didn't see the dark being but still feel it near. I fear now that we will be up against some far more worst than Discord himself.
