Day 15

I have lost all of my troops. That ‘thing’ just took them, I feel that I have not been a good leader. I sit by myself thinking about my wife and family. Two days ago was the family reunion. That day was the day my son was coming back from elite boot camp. I always want to see him when he came back after 10 years. I miss him so much right now.

I am now at my end. I have gone too long without any sign of life or chance. Everywhere I turn I see flashes of my family being torched and sadden. All I want to do now is go back home and retire from the army.

Tell my family I love them with all my heart and soul.
