Ch. 1: A Mutation Mission
[Life Tower, Minecraftia]
"Steve, Enderbro, you must stop Nacnud from creating the mutant hostiles in his lab!" said a man with a black beard and brown shirt & cape.
"We will do our best, Lord Notch." said a man with brown hair, teal shirt said as he bowed.
"As long as we can get some cakes on the way there, I'm STARVING!!!!!" said a tall black creature with purple eyes and a bright smiley face.
"I'm not sure, Endy, it depends on what time we leave. If we leave only a bit before dark we can't, but if we have time we'll stop by the bakery and get some snacks."
"Yay!" said the creature.
"Oh, and Steve!" said Notch.
"Yes, my Lord?"
"Don't forget the prophecy!" said the god.
"Yes sir."
"Come on, Enderbro, we have to pack for the journey." said Steve, the teal shirted man.
"Okie Dokie Lokie!" said Enderbro the Enderman as he teleported around Steve as they left.
[Ponyville, Equestria]
"TWILIGHTOHMYGOSHYOURSPELLITHINKTHATITSWORKINGTHATSSOGREATWAITASECOND, what does it do again?" said a bright pink pony with a magenta mane and tail.
"Well, Pinkie, it's supposed to let ponies travel to alternate universes and different dimensions." said the lavender alicorn.
"Oh, cooool!" said Pinkie Pie. There was a rift in mid air at the center of the library. As it grew bigger, the room glowed purple and blue. "Uhmm, is it supposed to do tha-"
KABLOOMSH!!!
[Wellspring Town, Minecraftia]
"Hey, Steve, don't you want to pack your piggy jammies?" asked Enderbro. Steve blushed,
"Noo, I told you, I don't wear those anymore!" he replied.
"But, they're super flexible!" said the Enderman as he stretched the pajamas with ease.
"No thanks." Steve said. Enderbro packed them anyway.
"Listen Enderbro, this isn't an average journey to Casron Temple or Quelling Jungle, it's to Nacnud's lab, one of the hardest places to get to in all of Minecraftia!" Steve said. Enderbro snored.
"Endy!" Steve shouted. Enderbro TP'd behind him.
"Aw, brah, I'm just messin' with ya! I understand, completely!" said the Enderman. There was a strange whooshing noise coming from the hall.
"Ender, do you hear that?" Steve said as he slowly drew out his sword. They crept out the door, only to notice a small hole in mid-air in the hall. "Ah, probably just a glitch." said Steve. They both turned to walk back to the door when the hole grew bigger, and eventually it swallowed Steve and Enderbro.
[Ponyville, Equestria]
"Tw-Tw-Twilight!" Pinkie said as the smoke started clearing.
"Yes, Pinkie?" Twilight said, coughing.
"What are those?" Pinkie said, pointing in the smoke. Two blocky figures stood in the midst of the smoke, one of them about a foot taller then the other. The smaller one held a sharp blade, the other held a block.
"In the name of Notch, where the heck are we?" said the one with brown hair and a teal shirt. Both the creatures stood on two legs.
"Who are you!" Twilight said with a stern look on her face.
"The question is," Steve pointed his sword, "Who are you?"
Twilight started sweating like crazy, Pinkie already ran out the window.
"I asked you first!"
"Who's the one with the diamond sword? Oh yeah, me." said Steve.
"Fine, I'm Twilight Sparkle!"
"Where are we?"
"Ponyville, Equestria!"
"Time?"
"7:00 PM!"
"Great, it's almost night and we don't even know where we are, how are we even supposed to get to Nacnud's lab now?" said Steve.
"And I didn't get my cake!" the Enderman huffed and his stomach grumbled.
"Ugh... let's just get as far as we can 'til we have to set up camp." Steve stated. Before they walked out the door, a purple aura locked it.
"I have some questions of my own..." said Twilight Sparkle. Steve drew his sword and Enderbro created a ball of purple energy.
"You'll get information," Steve grinned, "If you can beat us..."
Twilight shot beams of energy as Steve deflected with his diamond sword. Enderbro teleported behind Twilight and smashed a stone block on her back.
"Ow!" Twilight said as she collapsed. She teleported up and dive-bombed Steve, but he blocked with his hilt. Twilight fell to the ground and groaned. Enderbro and Steve walked up to her, ready to serve a final blow, when a blur of cyan and rainbow knocked them aside.
"Hey, you don't mess with my friends!" said the pegasus.
Rainbow Dash joined the Match!
Rainbow made a small tornado, which sucked up Steve and Enderbro. The Enderman then teleported onto the pegasi's back, smashing with another stone block. Rainbow's left wing twitched and she fell to the floor. She started flapping up into the air until she could have enough air to dive-bomb the Enderman. She charged him, and he teleported out of the way. Crashing, she stood back up slowly, along with Princess Alicorn Twilight Sparkle. A rope flung over Steve and Enderbro.
"Yee-haw everypony!"
Applejack joined the Match!
She bucked Steve in the gut as Twilight shot a beam of magic at Enderbro's face. He caught it and launched it back. Dash formed a wind, which launched the beam at Steve, who was now laying on the ground coughing. Rainbow charged Enderbro and he flew back. Applejack hit his face with her fore hoof, and he landed on top of Steve.
"Fine, we'll tell you what you want to know..." he said.
[Ponyville, Equestria]
"So, ya'll expect us to believe the yer from a world made of blocks where the only way you survive is by mining and crafting?" said Applejack.
"Don't forget building and fighting!" said Enderbro.
"And your names?" said Rainbow Dash.
"I'm Steve, and this is my partner/associate/honorary-brother, Enderbro the Enderman." said the teal shirted blocky man.
"Yes! It says it all here on page 152! It says that the Enderman is a hostile mob that is passive unless stared at in the eye. So, why isn't this Enderman... Well... bad?" asked Twilight.
"Well, it's a long story. I started out as an Enderbaby, surviving on my own until one of the Ender clans took me in. Later, when I was in my teen years, they tried to use me as a sacrifice for the Ender Dragon to rise again. Not wanting to die, I fought the whole clan. I then met Steve when he was 15. We've been besties ever since!" Enderbro explained.
"Woah, what's this all about? 'Minecraftia was created by Notch and his brother Jack. They both ruled in piece, keeping Minecraftia together. But Jack started seeing the people of Minecraft were making mistakes, and he became upset. He wanted to start a world anew, so he knew he would have to get rid of his brother. He almost stabbed him with the obsidian scepter, but Notch foresaw it coming, so he was banished to the Netherworld, where he created the hostile mobs. He kills many who enter his realm, keeping their limbs in his Hall of Hero's. His reflections can be seen in saltwater all the time, and Notch didn't think of him as a brother anymore. For his slaying of heroes and his sort of reflection everywhere you could look, he then called him Herobrine. He and Notch have never talked since. It was said that when Herobrine was banished, a new player was created, holding both essences of Notch and Herobrine, making him a chosen one to defeat the evil lord. Nobody knows who he is, or even if he's still alive, all that is known, is that he will be a great leader and go on great adventures.'." Twilight read.
"Hey, Steve, maybe it's you!" Enderbro said jokingly. They both laughed.
"Yeah right, Enderbro, like I would be the chosen one!" Steve exclaimed. Rainbow started laughing, too.
"Yeah, he doesn't seem anything like a chosen one! Hahaha!" she spoke. Steve made a vicious 'Do you even know who I am? glare.
"You really don't know me around here, do you?" he said angrily. "I've built cities, I've sieged castles, I'm Notch's number one Go-To guy when he's in a jam! How could you not know me?!" Steve's eyes started glowing an orange-red color. "I mean seriously?! It's not like you guys don't have prophecies and heroes 'round here!" His blade turned a ghoulish purple.
"Steve!" Enderbro said. Steve then returned back to his average, blue-eyed self.
"Heh... Sorry 'bout that..." he said, blushing. Just then, a pink-pastel blur crashed into Twilight Sparkle.
"Twilight! It's a HUGE emergency!" The party pony shouted in the alicorn princess's ear.
"What is it, Pinkie?"
"There are these weird green creatures coming out of the Everfree Forest! And they blow stuff up!" Pinkie explained.
"Creepers... Enderbro, let's go!" Steve said. They both ran out the door.
[Everfree Forest, Equestria]
Steve and Enderbro arrived at the scene. At the border between Everfree Forest and Ponyville, four-legged upright stanced green creatures came out. They were blowing up everywhere, causing ponies to get hurt and some faint.
"Alright, Enderbro, we've got to get rid of these Creepers!" Steve said as he drew his sword.
"One-step ahead of ya!" said the Enderman while smashing a stone block on one of the Creeper's heads. Steve charged a group of five and slashed them all in the torsos. Enderbro threw a sand block in the air, and Steve jumped up and launched it at a pack of 10 Creepers, causing them to fly back like bowling pins.
"STRIKE!" Steve shouted. There were about 50 more Creepers, and Steve pulled out his bow & arrow.
"Hold on!" said a white unicorn with a purple mane and tail. She surrounded the bow with a blue aura, and she enchanted it. Steve then fired the bow at a section of Creepers, and the arrow blew up, killing them.
"Fight fire with fire..." Steve said. He fired more exploding arrows while Enderbro was throwing stone blocks at Creepers. The purple-maned pony was shooting gems out of the ground at the Creepers. Soon, they were all either dead or running back into the forest.
"Hey, thanks for your help out there." Steve said to the unicorn.
"Oh, don't thank me, thank you for saving the town! For my generosity is a given!" she said. "My name is Rarity."
"I'm Steve."
"And I'm hungry!" the Enderman interrupted.
"Yeah, do you have any cafes or restaurants around here?" Steve asked Rarity.
"There's Sugar Cube Corner over by the library." she replied.
"Thanks." he said.
"Steve!" said a voice. He turned around to see Twlight, Rainbow, AJ, and Pinkie.
"That.. Was.. AWESOME!" Rainbow screamed. "The way your arrows blew up on contact, and the way you bowled over those guys with the block, it was all so AMAZING!"
"Thanks, and also, we need to set off around daybreak. We should be able to cover a lot of ground until nightfall." Steve explained. "We'll take some food and resources and head off."
"Wait!" Twilight said. "First, we want you to meet Princess Celestia. Being that you are from a different world and all, I'm sure she would love to meet you!"
"Ugh, fine. We can leave now." Steve said. They all went to the train station. Pinkie Pie gave Steve and Enderbro some cupcakes and fruit juice. They then arrived in Canterlot.
[Canterlot, Equestria]
The guards gave Steve and Enderbro an evil look. They all ran to the castle.
"Princess Celestia!" Twilight said as they all entered.
"Twilight!" Celestia said. She was a tall white alicorn with a multicolored flowing mane that looked as if you would touch it, your hand would flow right through.
"Is that a liquid or a solid?" Steve whispered to Enderbro.
"It's a lolsquid." Enderbro answered back, being proud of his clever word play. They explained to the Princess who they were and where they came from.
"Interesting. Oh, Twilight." the Princess said
"Yes, Princess?"
"I would like you and your friends to go with Steve and Enderbro on their quest."
"WHAT!?!?!?!" they all exclaimed.
