Two World's

                   Adam looked to the sky it was around midnight he couldn't see the stars since he was in New York City sighing he looked back down looking for his mark. Adam found the lawyer he was hired to steal from walking down the streets he was a short stocky man clean shaven he was on the phone talking to his client about how he had the goods to put that cop in jail. Adam was hired by the police to take some evidence from the lawyer that would put a innocent cop in jail Adam shrugged walking down the fire escape he joined the crowd. Dressed in street clothes Adam was wearing dark blue jeans with black converse sneakers, his black jacket was zipped up covering his black and white plaid shirt Adam had the hood pulled over his face walking up to the lawyer he pulled out a piped pushing it into his back "Stay quiet if you want to see tomorrow." Adam growled the lawyer hung the phone up and nodded "Move into that alley."

The lawyer began to walked towards the alley once inside Adam kicked his leg out from under the lawyer falling to the ground he lost his grip on the briefcase. Quickly hitting him over the head with the pipe Adam slipped the pipe up into his sleeve walking over to the brief case he picked the lock on it looking inside he saw a number of doctored papers and pictures grabbing everything in the case he dropped the case on the lawyers head. Walking out of the alley while tucking everything into his jacket rolled up chuckling he took of his hood then walked into the crowd disappearing from sight.

Walking through the police station he went into the comissioners office sitting down he tossed the files onto the desk smiling looking up Gordon sighed "I can't believe i stooped to this level." shaking his head Adam said  "No you didn't Gordon all you did was think about the officer believe me i would have done it anyways even if you didn't hire me."

"Huh ?" Gordon looked up at the thief who was scratching the back of his head "Why would you do that ?"

"Two reasons firstly i hate the mob second they keep taking all the good heist that i could be doing ?"

"So your telling me that you only did this cause they keep taking your jobs." Gordon growled laughing Adam stood up up putting both hands in the air laughing nervously "So you still want to get that beer buddy ?" sighing Gordon said "Get out of here Adam..........and sure i'll meet you at the bar."

Smiling he made his way through the building heading to the exit passing ponies and people it had been nine years since the portal opened and everybody seemed to either move to Equestria or visit for vacation purposes Adam didn't see the point probably cause he like the busy city of New York making his way up to the bar. Walking in he was met with multiple police officers they turned to him everyone of them pulled a gun on Adam putting his hands in the air screaming "It was the white boy !!!"

The cops chuckled at how the thief acted putting the guns up they invited him in every person in the district knew Adam was a thief named Shade but during the down times they ignored that for he helped catch criminals with his thefts and has helped them many times. Walking up to the bar Adam was met with slaps on the shoulder and asking if the job went well standing on the stool he proclaimed in the voice of George Takei "The job is done." earning a couple of whoops from the cops. Sitting down he ordered himself a beer and took a sip sighing as the cool liquid slide down his throat. Hearing the bell Adam turned to see a few ponies walk in from the looks they were tranfers from Equestria except for a white unicorn with an electric blue mane chuckling he went back to drinking "Hey Flash whos the guy !?!?" one cop call Flash was a deep orange with a blonde mane and tail he was in his blues turning he said "This is Captain Shining Armor he is in town for a few days and well i figured i'd show my old boss around town." nodding a couple of cops walked over to the stallion shaking his hand and asking questions.

Adam kept to his drink ignoring the world looking at the gold brown liquid his sighed "Vince is that you !?" Adam felt a hand on his shoulder turning he saw the white stallion smiling "Oh sorry i mistook you for someone else." nodding Adam went back to his drink "The names Shining Armor." Adam kept ignoring him. Walking up to Shining Armor a detective said "Sorry Adam doesn't really talk to people he keeps to himself."

"huh well sorry about that again." Shining said Adam lifted his glass to him then went back to drinking walking away they went to another table to talk. Adam cracked the glass with the grip he had on it looking up he saw the bartender Berry Punch looking at him "You ok Adam ?"

"Yeah sorry about the glass just Vince is my brother."

"Didn't know you have a brother."

"Never talked about him he was the younger brother yet I was in his shadow all the time."

"Probably cause you stole things."

"What me never........okay a little but only from bullies and asshats but they had it coming."

"True true but why don't you talk to him?"

"He moved to Equestria to study to be a doctor over there."

"Ahhh well maybe you should-" Berry stopped midsentence seeing his look of anger "So find anyone special yet ?"

"No i doubt i will anyway."

"Well we could hang out."

"Berry i don't think so and thats because you fillyfriend will hate my guts even more." Adam said chuckling at the thought of Marygold covered in the feathers and honey. Sitting down next to him Gordon ordered some whiskey looking to Adam he said "The detective is on his way to thank you and cause of what you did the mob is gonna be facing a heavy hit in the ranks."  Berry set Gordons whiskey infront of him picking it up he took a sip "Yeah but be ready for retaliation Gordon." nodding Gordon took another sip they heard a voice cough behind them turning Adam saw Shining Armor and a pink alicorn with a light maroon mane and taile with gold and purple in her mane "It is you !!!" she gasped cocking an eyebrow Adam looked at her the said "Who the hell are you ?"

"Oh.....um............im Princess Mi Amore Candenza but you can-" she was cut off when Adam turned back around to finish off his drink "Um the reason i recognized you is cause i've seen your picture in Vinces house your his older brother." Adam stopped drinking placing it down he said "I've got to go hom Gordon watch your back." Gordon nodded getting up Adam was stopped by the unicorn stallion looking him over he was dressed in black shorts and a grey collared shirt the stallion placed his arm up blocking his way "look we just want to-"

"I have nothing to say to you or that asshole thats my brother so i'll be going home."

"But he is your family." Candenza said walking up to Adam turning to her he angled his head back giving her a glare the stopped her midstep "I have no reason to care i was the black sheep of the family all cause i didn't play sports so you can go fuck yourself and the next time you seem my brother give him this." Adam finished the sentence by flipping them off and pushing past Shinings arm to go home.

(Adams apratment)

Walking through the door Adam made his way over to his fridge opening the door he pulled out a beer popping the lid of with a flick he took a long drink from it enjoying the cool liquid. Finishing the bottle he tossed it into his waste been grabbing a glass he walked over to a cabinet pulling out a bottle of Sweet Apple Acres Zap apple Whiskey pouring himself two fingers he took a sip walking over to a black lazy boy chair he sat down stairing out at the lights, buildings and cars that made up New York sighing he finished off the glass pouring himself another glass turning he looked at a video of him and his uncle laughing the no noise came from the video flipping to where it was face down he turned back to the city.

BZZZZZZZZZZ

Looking around Adam tried finding the cell phone that was disturbing his peace and quiet standing up he searched his pockets...................nothing BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ growling Adam went to the kitchen going through the cabinets and the drawers still finding nothing BZZZZZZZZZZZ thinking quickly he ran to his room pushing the door open to a slightly dirty room moving some clothes around he finally found the phone hitting the green button he cleared his phone "Hello ?"

"Yes is this Shade ?"

"Who's asking ?"

"Somepony wanting to hire your talents."

"Okay look i don't operate anywhere else besides earth sorry lady-" Adam began as he walked back into the living room and grabbing his whiskey taking a sip

"I can pay you 7 million american dollars."

" *COUGH* 7 million dollars *COUGH* who the hell are you ?"

"Go to the transport hub 8 and find out.....if you want the job."

"I'll take it."

"Good i hope to see you soon." the pony hung up staring at the phone Adam was awe struck this pony was rich enough to pay him 7 million dollars the question though who was it and why ? Anyone who heard of his name Shade knew that he only went after criminals or corrupted businesses so who ever did this wants his help with something "What would they need my help with ?" Adam asked himself outloud.

(Three days later transport hub 8)

Staring at the gate Adam sighed turning he looked at Gordon "So you watching my apartment ?" Adam asked Gordon nodded he was looking around glaring at a few people "Yeah i got it Adam just be care Equestria is much different than earth."

"How different ?"

"Well when me and the family went there for some RR it was cleaner no pollution of any kind, the poplutation is mostly female, and its..............peaceful."

"Peaceful ?"

"Yes they have little to no crime and when you go there its like the world is in a calm state."

"Oh so almost like the sixties ?"

"NO its not believe me." Gordon said looking at Adam with intense glare chuckling Adam turned to see the gate light up and the security guards wave him pass "Yeah yeah i figured well gotta go afro." Adam said chuckling running up to the guards with his duffel bag slung over one shoulder and a black backpack on his other arm stopping at the gate he took a deep breathe and walked through the portal hearing Gordon yell "You'll be coming back Adam and i'll get you back !!!!"

(Equestria transport hub 8)

Walking through the other side Adam was surprised to see that the hub he entered was dead save for two ponies both alicorns one a prestine white while the other was a midnight blue walking foreward the white alicorn said "Hello Shade my name is Celestia and we have much to discuss."
