Shiny was watching from his highchair. He also wondered why Twilight wasn't quickly up wanting to be changed.
"Okay sweet pea...Let's get you changed..." I slowly got up as Twilight gently got back on her feet. She paused for a moment to get use to the sagging diaper. She trotted out of the room with an encouraging pat on her behind from me. "Now you be good Shiny, stay in your chair like a good boy!" I smiled back at the stallion, still sitting in his baby chair with his hooves pinned at his side. "I gotta go change your sister's stinky bottom!"
Shiny emitted a little whimper as I walked out of the kitchen. Surely a grown unicorn could simply pull the tray off magically, freeing his hooves, but Shiny knew better. The experienced unicorn knew if he did something as grown up as that, he'd be in big big trouble.
"What a smelly little filly!" I cheerfully exclaimed as Twilight laid back onto the changing table. The loaded back of the padding squished loudly underneath her, making her giggle like a toddler. She seemed to have slipped into the toddler part quite easily and was even wiggling her hooves in the air playfully. "Alright sweetie, stay still so I can change you. You want to be a good girl, don't you?"
Twilight nodded and started to settle down. Being a good baby was always a great motivator for my diaper babies! Even Shining Armor was willing to be a good boy, if he wasn't too embarrassed that is.
Baby powder, wipes and a fresh diaper floated around my head as I began untaping the filly's diaper. The soaked yellow front felt heavy and easily opened up from the weight alone. I magically lifted her legs up in the air before slipping the smelly diaper out from under her. The diaper was set aside as I began wiping her rump clean of the stinky mess. Twilight giggled with each new wipe as the cool dampness cleaned up the gooey mess.
A new diaper replaced the old one under the unicorn's rump, followed shortly by a good glazing of baby powder. The old one was wrapped up with the wipes, tied up in a tight ball, and floated into the diaper pail where it joined Shining's. The fresh diaper was pulled up between Twilight's legs as her ankles magically lowered and the padding was taped up tightly around her waist.
"There we go! A fresh diapee wipee for Twiley!" I chirped happily, giving her soft tummy a couple playful nuzzles. She wiggled underneath me, giggling. The fresh diaper crinkled loudly underneath her with each slight movement as I pulled her off the changing table and down onto the soft plush floor. "Now be a good girl and play here while I get your baby brother."
Twilight giggled when I used the words 'baby brother', "'Kay!"
I came back to the kitchen to find my obedient baby Shiny still in his high chair like I left him. The long wait there made him want to get up as soon as possible. He was practically bouncing in his seat, looking at me as his way out of the infantile furnishing.
"Well look at this!" I said with a delighted smile. "My little Shiny stayed in his baby chair like a good boy!" I unclipped the high chair's tray and began sliding it off.
Shining's eyes lowered to the floor as his cheeks flared up. After the tray was removed, it was obvious why.
The sun shaped wetness indicators on his diaper were faded, evidence of a recent 'accident'."Where did the suns go, baby?" I asked with a smile as I looked down at Shiny's diaper. "Where did your happy suns go?"
He hesitated, obviously not wanting to admit it out loud.
"Sweetie," I said as I lowered my gaze to meet up with his eyes. "What happened to your happy suns?"
"I..." He hesitated, as if admitting it would mean much much more than simple embarrassment. "I wet my diaper..."
"Oh my! You did, didn't you!" I said as I ran a hoof across the squishy yellow front of the diaper. "Well it doesn't look that bad. It should last you through your nap!"
The stallion's ears perked up. "N-nap?"
"On your feet sweetie, I don't want to keep your baby sister waiting!"
"Nap time for the little babies! You two've had a big day so far." I said when I returned to the nursery. Twilight had busied herself with a coloring book on the ground.
Shining Armor stood next to the nursery's doorway while Twilight eagerly trotted over to a nearby crib. I lowered the crib's gate and helped her up into it. The plastic sheet underneath the soft comforter crinkled loudly as she scooted up. "There we go," I said with a smile as I helped her get comfortable and pulled a blanket up over her. "Now you be a good girl and have a good nappy." I kissed her forehead and pulled up the gate, locking it into place.
Shining still stood at the doorway, blushing as he nervously rocked from left to right. "Come here, crinkle butt, you gotta take a nap too," I said as I lowered the gate of the second crib.
The stallion took only a few steps into the room. "U-uhm...Do I have to sleep in a crib?" He blushed as he said that word. It was almost as embarrassing as 'diaper'.
I smiled back, "Of course diaper boy. All good babies take naps so they don't get cranky during the day."
"I don't wanna sleep in a crib..." He blushed as he said the word 'crib'.
"No buts, leaky pants. Up in your bed now!" I gave him a firmer look. He knew what that meant and reluctantly waddled over to the empty crib. His yellow tinted diaper faintly squished as he climbed up into the crib, pulling the soft blanket over his body.
"Good boy," I chirped with a smile as I pulled up the crib gate, locking it into place. "Now you two be good and go nappy, I won't be far if you need me." I gently tucked Shining under a baby blanket with my magic and brushed Twilight's mane. Ever so quietly I slipped out of the nursery, turning off the main lights and keeping the door open just a crack.
With the two babies tucked in their cribs, I snuck out quietly and paused with a sigh. Phew, peace and quiet. I think you've earned a well deserved break from these soggy butts, Cadance!
As the two napped, I went ahead and cleaned up around the house a bit. Building blocks still laid scattered across the floor from the babies' playtime. Diaper butts can never pick up after themselves. The kitchen needed a little neatening up as well. Dishes were quietly put away and bibs were brought to the washer. I had to chuckle when I saw that Shiny's bib was messier than Twilight's. Maybe she WAS the older sibling!
