Princess Celestia, while strolling through a clearing on the grounds of Canterlot Castle, is struck by a stray poison dart meant for test specimens in an Indian Practice Group. With Celestia withering away into nothing, it's up to Princess Luna to take on the responsibilities of her elder sister. But when Luna is scarred by her sister's condition, she shuts herself inside a small home in the Everfree Forest, and nopony can coax her out, Twilight places herself in the royal seat. Can Twilight rule the kingdom as smoothly as Celestia did, or will the power rush to her head and make her rule with an iron hoof?

Author's Note: This story has, so far, been written from a mobile device. My computer is down for repairs, and it is extremely difficult for me o write clearly on such a small screen, yet I decided to give it a whirl. This.. Has not worked out so well, so I am setting this story as "On Hiatus" until I can edit and crap. It will be tagged as "Incomplete" when I feel it is appropriate to add more chapters.
