Shrouded Knightshade, and his brothers.
Hi, my name is Shrouded, I have a raspy voice, and somewhat just don't really talk a lot, I decieve a lot of ponies with my looks. I, however, am not your regular living pony. I am somewhat a master of death. I can explain in detail what my life usually is, but I wanna go into originality things, and no, a pony with metallic holds for wings is not original, nor is it uncommon. I am gonna begin by saying, Luna is my creator, she is my mentor, and by far she is my only trustable peer. I remember being 12 when she first gave me a scythe to swing around, knowing I had admired and awwwwww'd at the shape, strength, and durability of one, although, they are also double sided, which works out like I usually say, if it comes back it's gonna get ya. I will tell you that I am not innocent with being careful. I am guilty of being careful with one, for I never did be careful with it. I swung it around and it went through Luna's hair without a slight tug, but she found out in a few minutes that I had gotten her with the scythe and I apologized usually. I also wanna describe what you will see. I am describing how I look to other ponies. I am a somewhat dark blue looking mare,I'm actually a stallion,the fur is almost like Luna's, I have a purple and black mane, I wear cloth cuffs which by what I know are purple, and somewhat made of regular cloth. I have sky blue eyes that somewhat shine while in the moonlight too. I don't usually show much expression, but I keep a low profile, after all, my later stories will explain why.
I can go into detail about my life growing up, and why I do what I do today. The fact is, I won't go into that much detail, I will explain basics. I used to be grown by Luna herself, she used to bring my food to the cave she had me adapt to. I actually find the cave somewhat comfy, and regardless of what animals are in it. I somewhat found that cave to be my home, and whenever I went there I felt at home, no matter how long or where I was told to go, I listened obediently, and somewhat had my reasons for not doing so if I chose not to. I had grown up this way, but I didn't do that for long, I grew mad, I was broken, and no one I saw, or heard, could ever fix me. I never mentioned the first part of it, and how I grew into these habits. I started out in a tube, yes, you may laugh it up, but I was made inside a tube. I was able to watch Luna add more things as she went. I never saw her operate the machines though. I always saw ponies in lab coats. I never saw her touch one, but she knew the exact measurements to take to get me to my strength I gained while in the forest. In order for what I can do today, there had to be some sort of heavy duty adaptation. I saw some ponies passing by as if the forest meant nothing. I watched them, it was a group of two unicorns, two pegasi, and two earth ponies. I heard all of their names. The pink eccentric pony was named Pinkie Pie, the orange coated farm mare was named Applejack. The rainbow colored pegasus was just as her mane somewhat told a part of, Rainbow Dash, and the other pegasus was named Fluttershy, she was somewhat a scaredy pony, and I had chosen that if anything I would never try killing her, I just wouldn't have the guts to do it I guess, I don't know. The two unicorns however, were able to detect me and acted as if they didn't, I saw the purple one named Twilight look in my general direction and knew I was somewhere in that area, I congratulate her for it, but I never really understood why she had stopped. I watched the prissy white unicorn ask to get the search to hurry along as she wanted to get out of the forest and back to her home. I was able to hear the pink eccentric pony start to sing, and I kind of agreed with them, but I didn't agree with it on the outside because the singing kind of pierced my eardrums and it hurt a lot. The last thing I wanted to do was to attack them, but how could I when I was completely unbeknownst to them. I decided it would be good if I just went out there and introduced myself, kind of asked a few questions. The idea seemed like it would work. I went out slowly and they had enough time to not freak out.
"Uhhh, hi there...." My voice was a bit raspy, almost as if I was using a robot voice or something. I looked at them and stood without moving much.
"Who are you? I wonder where you even came from." The purple unicorn came forward and had a glowing horn getting ready to shock me at will. I looked back at her and replied.
"Well, I ain't exactly a threat, I'm only 14 years old." The response somewhat surprised her as she began to get further back and stand with her friends.
"I don't think we actually know your name, mind telling us?" The purple unicorn looked at me a little bewildered, I looked at them and explained my name.
"I'm Musky, not really a pony to just stand around in these parts, are ya?" She looked at me with a sort of aggravated look and took a step forward. I knew I lied to her but she couldn't tell by the way I was looking at her.
"I'll have you know that we may not look as tough, but we can sure as hell handle ourselves, and how about you Musky?" I look at her with a small smirk and I nearly chuckle at the fact that she handles a lot of this with pure facts, which is impressive, but when I took a bit of a step forward, barely lifting my hoof to move forward.
"I have handled myself for about 6 years now, with help the first 4 years of my life I had help from Luna surprisingly, but not really since she made me." The statement I had layed down somewhat surprised her and she had to ponder about this, and noticed the three shades of dark I had. I made an effort to not make any expressions.
"I guess you are somewhat not usual, especially knowing Zecora lives in the forest. I will guess that this means goodbye, I'll be heading out with my friends now, Cya Musky." I noticed she didn't care and left without any troubles.
I thought of how well it went, and I thought it went just dandy, but, I was completely wrong, for when I had heard what Luna was planning, I didn't like it very much. I was told the simple details. I will recite it in exact detail.
'Shrouded, you must test their skills, I will give you your scythe, but you must promise me that if you harm the yellow one, hold a bunny to test her skills, I shall not let you give her a free be.'
'But Luna, I don't wanna harm her, she seems too innocent, I don't know why i would harm a pony like her.' I remember precisely at this point she was about to call bullcrap, but instead she just caused my knee to start bleeding and I started to cry blood, which after a few minutes I realized I wasn't light headed. I licked the blood and realized my eyes had changed a color for a few seconds. I look up and there is Luna's figure holding my scythe, she lands softly and puts my scythe on me.
'I bid you farewell thou creation, remember, test their skills, I gave you the ability to not feel pain when they deliver it, but when it has come time for you to finish up, I will be taking that away, I wish you luck. And with those words her eyes glowed for a second and I remembered blacking out and waking up a minute later. I got up and went to go find the ponies that had left. I noticed they were running back and I jumped into one of the bushes. I remember nothing after that, but Luna was kind enough as to tell me what I did. I jumped out and Twilight bucked me away, I recovered quickly and ran after Applejack, who as bluntly as possible, didn't seem to care, I continued running and as soon as I leaped up and was over her, she kicked an apple up towards me, I was covered in a bag by rarity. They all stopped to make sure I couldn't escape, and when they made sure and were sure they dragged the bag along into somewhere unknown. I was released into an arena like place, or more likely the place they found the elements when they turned Luna back into herself. I turned around and realized my scythe was missing until I checked the back strap. I grabbed it and this time I was glowing with green, green for death mainly because it was what most bodies started turning when left to decompose.
"Hey! C'mere Twilight! I wanna show you something!" I started to rush towards her with my scythe in mouth, and as soon as she tried to stop me I had already thrown the scythe at her and she ducked letting it stick in the wall behind her. I ran towards her and kicked off the wall with it. Now this is where it gets really detailed in gore, as I lost a lot of blood in it, but woke up the next morning without a scratch. I did a sideflip towards Twilight and it clipped her hoof as she got ready to teleport above me and tackle me to the ground. I was ready for when she was about to do it, I jabbed my hoof above me and it hit her horn, causing her to land on me but I realized she got up with blood on her horn. I watched it drip and she gasped at how I was still alive from her stabbing me with her horn right in the stomach. I got up and knocked her towards her friend and looked at them with blood still dripping. I watched and waited as they all placed Twilight somewhere safe and the first one to actually reply to what I did was Pinkie Pie, who had pulled a cannon out of nowhere and shot her pet gator at me.
"That float your boat you big meanie?" I got hit with the gator and my scythe appeared in my mouth. I slammed it down cutting off the gator's foot. The gator ran back and Pinkie collected him while I recovered from the impact, I then looked and checked who was next. I watched Applejack run towards me and with brute force threw me against the wall with a stern battle face on her. The look nearly made me chuckle and I shook free turning around and bucked her across the room, she recovered with a bewildered look.
"I ain't done with any of you yet." I looked and three charged at me in one try, Rarity, Applejack, and Twilight. I kicked Applejack back across the room, I dealt with Rarity by putting dirt in her mane. I held my scythe in front of Twilight and she backed off after she gave herself a nose bleed from hitting the handle of the scythe. I did a side flip and threw a sickle and it held her down. I threw several others after that and I got up to Twilight and looked her sternly in the eye.
"I told you I wasn't done yet." I looked and barely moved as I stuck the scythe right over her neck. I noticed her horn glow as I nearly slit her throat until I realized I was in the air. I made the assumption she was about to throw me into the wall until the last second I watched blood splatter on the wall behind me, and I was still in the air, I looked down and pulled the scythe out, I recognized a split in the handle, and I pulled it apart, causing another part of the scythe to whip out the same blade as in the regular blade.
"How are you not even in pain?" I somewhat gave a smirk and I watched as Fluttershy threw her pet bunny at me and I fell to the ground before I could throw the scythe. I got up and watched as she threw me to the ground and began to beat me to death until she thought I had enough. they left me and I soon woke up in 2 seconds without any cuts on me. I put my scythe away and noticed a figure walking back towards me. I saw it was Fluttershy and had a completely bewildered look. I got up and my back was covered in blood. I looked at her with an expressionless face, she walked over and didn't mind the splatters and puddles of blood.
"I noticed how you fight, I can say that for a stallion who hardly trains you fight pretty good." I look at her and somewhat don't mind it. I look around and then back to her I realize I am myself again.
"Where did all these puddles of blood come from? I could've swore I was talking with Luna and-" She interrupted me as soon as I said Luna.
"Wait, you know Princess Luna?" I look at her and reply.
"You mean mom? I was raised by her, she seems to not know much about combat, but she knows a lot, considering she made the moves herself, and she helped me create my own." I saw her reach an expression at this point that caused her to nearly squee after I said I made a few of my own.
"Oh, so you have your own moves mixed with hers? I never really met a pony that did that, but I guess you're the first, wanna train together?" I simply nod my head yes and we began by letting her show me hers. I then introduced Lunas moves. She was impressed with what Luna had learned and taught to me. I then showed her my moves in it and she barely knew what had happened when I threw the scythe into the pillars that remained standing in the old ancient ruins. I watched as they tumbled and she was impressed. I somewhat smirked until she heard her friends a few minutes later. I realized it was a short time until her friends all pinned me to the wall and began to question how I knew those moves. I told them what I told Fluttershy and they released me, Twilight being the brave one to speak up.
"So wait, let me get this straight, Luna, the princess of the night, had taught you herself half of the moves you know today?"
I nod my head and barely remember anything in that split second but she then tackles me and looks me in the eye before launching me out the window, in which I had calmly let myself fall, in which I knew there was a soft landing-not exactly but it was good enough to keep from injury. I looked around once I landed and noticed my scythe was thrown at me from above, most likely Twilight, but oh well. I noticed how she ran off with her friends, and while they tried to get me before I disappeared, by the time she left that opening, I had jumped up and quickly headed out of there. Luna had thanked me and had given me the details through my psycopathic memory. I went to my cave and slept until the next task Luna awaited to give me. I also want to say that this is my origin story, how I came to know Luna, The main 6, and probably most likely, who I am in general.
