New pony, Green Oak, finds himself in Ponyville after a mishap with the train. He is forced to find work in the only place his cutie mark with allow: an orchard. He is forced to look after Apple Bloom and teach her the ropes while simultaneously learning them himself from Applejack. He, normally the outside observer to any social interactions, is privy to Applejack's workaholocism, and finds it within himself to help. Applejack, under Green's advice, becomes more outgoing with the other girls. Meanwhile, Pinkie is adamant about throwing Green a party.
