The Grand Galloping Gala was a huge event as always, and most of the ponies tried to forget last year's gala. Miss Rainbow Dash was one of the ponies attending, and she also had her VIP pass to go and see, her heroes, her idols, the Wonderbolts. She walked into the Castle, and found her way out and in and out to eventually come across the Wonderbolt's VIP section.
"Rainbow Dash, come in!" Called Soarin' from inside. He made his way to the gate and greeted her with a glad smile. Spitfire turned around, realised he was missing, and scanning with her eyes round the section, she found and joined him.
"Hey Rainbow Dash, been a while since I've learned something from you, huh?" Commented Spitfire. Itching the back of her neck with her hooves, Rainbow Dash replied,
"Yeah, I know, right?" She said "A long one too. But don't get me wrong, you're still my idols!"
Spitfire gave a look of satisfaction and soaked up the adoration she was given.
"So ya' still wanna be a Wonderbolt then, I take it?" Asked Spitfire, with a hopeful look.
"You bet ya'!" Replied the Rainbow-maned mare.She was about to go and walk away to talk with Fleetfoot, thinking she was excused, but yet another question came her way.
"What would you do to become one?" Queried Spitfire.
"Oh, I'd do ANYTHING to get in!" She answered, and then going to a half daydream mode, probably daydreaming about what it was like to be a Wonderbolt. Fleetfoot heard this and came over with an evil look on her face, but Rainbow Dash didn't really recognise it.
"Anything?"
"Anything."
She talked the rest of the night with the Wonderbolts, and she drank with them too. She was the only pony going back to the gala for a second time out of the elements of harmony, the rest were a bit scared and embarrassed to go back, and fortunately, Pinkie was holding the baby cake's 1st birthday party.
Rainbow Dash was actually permitted to spend three whole months in Canterlot, she had been doing alot of things in life, even including a sonic rainboom and her friends and Celestia agreed she needed a good long break.
"So..." Started Spitfire."How long are you staying?"
"Three whole months."/
