"Luna, did you get the curtains for the windows I asked for."
"No, I'm sorry sis, I'll get them right now."
Luna had been pondering all day about what she would wear for the wedding of two ponies that moved to Canterlot yesterday. They seemed like a good couple, and they enjoyed each others company immensely. Luna had always thought to herself about if she would ever meet the right mate someday. Although she knew it would be difficult for her to have a relationship with someone since she has to take care of the empire with Celestia, she thought it could be possible. She didn't want to marry other royalty. She wanted a regular, peaceful relationship. But sadly, as each day went on, she grew less intent toward the idea. She thought she would never meet anyone that would want to be in a relationship with someone who tried to entrap the world of Equestria in eternal night. But even with the hopes diminishing, she still had not despaired completely.
The wedding would occur in a couple hours. Luna had finally decided on the dress. It had been designed by some famous fashion designer for weddings in Prance. She had still been pondering though. Who knew if she would ever meet the right pony. After a few minutes in her room, Celestia knocked on her door. "Are you ready? The wedding is about to start. You know I can go by myself if you want. I know you've had something on your mind all day. I can tell the guests that you're sick or have something to take care of. Do you want me to announce it?" "Yeah, I've got something to think about. I'm sorry about not coming on such short notice. Tell them I had to visit another country on royal duties." "Ok, I'll tell them." "Oh... and Celestia.... Can you leave me lone for a while. I kind of just want to be by myself." "Sure, I understand. Bye Luna."
With that she was gone. She closed and locked the door. She even told the guards to stay away from her room. This was unusual of Celestia. She was usually very protective of her young sister and never, never, never wanted anyone to have the chance to attack her. But since she thought she needed to be alone, and derived of all other noises of the world, she decided to let this one go. The guards left the area, and Luna was all alone.
