Slender Mane comes to Ponyville

Fluttershy gave a warm smile as she finished wrapping a young bear cubs leg. "There you go my friend, you should be healed in a couple day."

The bear cub gave a big smile,"bra bra!" It roared happily and gave her a hug.

Fluttershy giggled as she embraced the cubs hug with a big smile on her face, "he's so cute.".

The cubs mother walked over to them and patted Fluttershy's head, "bra bra bra!"

Fluttershy looked up at the mother bear, her smile softening, "Oh it was my pleasure to to help your cub."

The mother bear smiled nodded as she said, "bra bra bra bra!" Her cub stopped hugging Fluttershy at this point and followed it's mother back to the forest.

"Goodbye!" Fluttershy called to them, which in turn, the bears turned to her and waved. They then continued into the forest.

Fluttershy smiled as they went. "helping the animals feels so good." she walked to her cottage door and walked inside. Apon walking inside, she felt her front hoof get kicked. She looked down to see Angel glaring at her-  he must have kick her hoof again. She sighed and forced a smile, "what's the matter Angel?"

Angel whipped out a book and turned to a page, pointing at the picture repeatedly. It was a picture of a green pettled flower.

"Huh?" She read the page to see the information it had on it. "Y-you want this?"

He nodded vigorously at this.

Fluttershy's ears went down as she frowned nervously at him, "Um... A-Angel, it's in the Everfree forest."

He nodded.

Fluttershy twitched an ear in irritation, "And it's scary in there."

He nodded.

Fluttershy gave a nervous smile with her ears half down, "And I don't want to go in there for a flower."

Angel stomped his foot and held his breath.

Fluttershy took a step back in surprise and smiled sadly, "Angel. I'm... I'm not going."

He continued to hold his breath.

Fluttershy sighed with her ears down in defeat, "I don't want you to faint so.... Fine. I'll go."

Angel let his breath out and hopped off, satisfied.

Fluttershy sighed as she went to go and pack a bag to prepare herself for her quest.

It took her fifteen minutes to pack her bag, and she was now ready to go on her quest to get Angel a flower. She sighed as she called out, "I'm going out for a bit, I'll be back soon though, I promise." She then walked out of her Cottage.

She stared at the Everfree nervously and gulped, "well it's now or never" and walked into the Everfree forest. The forest was dark due to the branches being so thick with leaves. The grass came up to her snout too, this made her even more nervous because she had no idea what was down below the grass at her hooves. as she delved deeper into the Everfree forest, what little light she had before slowly diminished. luckily, she came prepared. she quickly fumbled through her bag and pulled out a lantern and put three brightly glowing Sapphire rocks into the lantern. The surroundings were quickly brightened, enabling her to see her surroundings once more. She then continued to wade through the tall grass.

Suddenly she screamed in surprise as she started falling. She landed plump on her rump and moaned a great groan. She sighed as she looked around, her lantern's glass wasn't broken- cracked heavily, but not broken- . she was in a deep hole, there was enough room for her to get out, but she wanted to rest her rump for a while before going anywhere else. after a minutes rest she flew out of the hole and back  to the tall grass and continued wading through the grass- watching her step this time.

After about an hour of pushing past the tall grass she finally came to a tree stump with the flower she was hunting growing out of it. She smiled, knowing her quest was finally over. She walked over to the stump to claim her bunny's prize. However as she got closer to the flower, lots of fog rolled in around her, it was so thick she could barely see the flower in front of her. She gulped as she quickly stepped closer to the flower and tried to pluck the flower- she couldn't get a good grip on it with her teeth though. The fog continued to roll around her, she was getting increasingly nervous as she reached into her bag and brought out a knife and brought it to the flower, "you must come with me to make Angel happy no matter what!" Suddenly Fluttershy saw the shape of a stallion through the fog.

The stallion was taller than any stallion she had ever seen before, he was also had a unpony like slenderness to his body. Fluttershy was horrified now. She fumbled with the knife and managed to get the flower cut and took it in her mouth- it slipped out though and fell into the tall grass. She looked up and the stallion had tentacles and was getting even closer. She screamed and ran the other way, completely forgetting the flower she came in to get. She instantly realized she couldn't see where she was going- she forgot her lantern at the tree. She groaned in despair as she continued running. She was becoming increasingly scared as she ran because the fog never let up- the stallion was near her still. Suddenly the stallion appeared out of nowhere in front of her. Fluttershy screamed and turned to run the other way. He once again appeared in front of her.

Fluttershy fell onto her back and backed away from the stallion. He suddenly got close to her and she saw his face- he had no face. Fluttershy screamed a bloodcurdling scream of terror at this.

Fluttershy fell to her belly with her flank in the air hiding her face with her mane and her head with her hooves and her hooves with her wings,"P-please don't eat my-""he has no mouth" "I mean um... please don't .... do what your about to do to me!!!!"

the stallion's tentacles slowly came at her.

Fluttershy's eye's widened in terror and put her flank down, covering ti with her wings, "No!!! please don't flank rape me!!!"

The stallion cocked his head and brought a flower to her. Fluttershy stared at the flower, it was the one she found, the green petaled flower Angel wanted.

Fluttershy stopped covering herself a bit but continued shaking in fear as she stared at him curiously, "h-huh? um.... y-you found the flower I need... your giving it to me?"

the stallion nodded, and brought out a knife, and a lantern.

Fluttershy stopped hiding herself as she got up to shaking hooves, eyeing the stallion warily, "my things, you... you only wanted to give back my things?"

he nodded again and brought out a bag.

"really? I left my bag too?" "um... thank you..."

the stallion gave her things to her and turned to go.

Fluttershy's eyes widened as she put out a hoof to stop him, "w-wait... your.. not going to rape me with your tentacles?"

the stallion brought his tentacles to his blank face and made a sad face as he shook his head. Then turned to go again.

Fluttershy looked away blushing, ashamed of herself,"Oh my..... I've made a horrible mistake..." "wait! I'm so sorry for what I said... that was really mean."

The stallion turned to her, staring at her with his featureless face. It was really creepy, that blank face seemed to stare into her soul.

Fluttershy looked away, scuffling her hooves on the ground nervously, "um... I'm sort of lost.... can you help me out of the forest please?"

The stallion put a tentacle to his chin as he pondered this. and nodded. He then made a sentence with his tentacles.

Fluttershy's ears perked up, "um... oh! um..." "Y..yes, but... only if.... you will... be ... my.... friend?" Fluttershy was taken aback by this, blinking a few times, unable to think of what to say, "... um.... of course I'll be your friend. What is your name?"

He made a big smiley face which went from his left side of his forehead to the right and then wrote... Slender... mane..

Fluttershy smiled nervously at him, "um... okay Slendermane um... I'm Fluttershy. can you please help me out of here now?"

He nodded vigorously and pranced past her, a bit too happily.

Fluttershy followed right behind him. He led her through the forest , it was hard to see him because of all the fog and it being so thick. She managed to keep up only because he was mindful of the fog and waited for her to catch up to him. In a mere ten minutes he had Fluttershy out of the forest.

Fluttershy smiled as Slender mane turned to her. "Thank you so much for helping me out of the forest."

He made a smile and then spelled, your welcome. Suddenly a carrot hit Slender mane in the head.

He and Fluttershy both turned to see an angry Angel standing in the middle of the darkness and threw a whole cabbage at the creature he saw as a threat to Fluttershy.

Slender mane quickly backed up, not wanting to get pelted with anymore lettuce.

Fluttershy looked on with horror and jumped between him and Angel, "Slendy wait!" She quickly turned to Angel and said in a stern, authorative tone, "Angel, stop it!"

Angel looked at her a moment, then pelted her with a potato. Fluttershy put her her head down and sighed "this is embarrassing..." Fluttershy walked over to Angel and gave him the flower he wanted, here Angel, my friend here helped me find the flower and get home, if not for him I'd still be in the forest. She thought it was best to leave out that he was mainly the reason she needed help getting out in the first place, just to try to get Angel to tolerate him a little.

Unfortunately it didn't work, Angel threw a cabbage at her and it her directly in the face.

Fluttershy frowned at him as she pounced on him and gobbled up all the vegetables he had stocked away so he couldn't throw anymore food at them.

"Hopefully this will stop him."

Angel was enraged at this as he stomped his feet and glared at Fluttershy, eventually he went inside though.

Fluttershy then turned to Slender mane with guilt in her eyes, "would you like to come inside?"

He nodded hesitantly, probably worried how the other animals would react to him, that and Angel was inside too.

Fluttershy smiled and took his hoof and led him to her cottage. He stopped and resisted once they got to the door though. Fluttershy cocked her head with a curious frown on her face, "what's the matter? The animals won't hurt you Slendy, I promise Angel will be good too."

He shook his head and walked to the cottage. Light was shining out from the window of the cottage, he put his hoof up to the light and it began to smoke as a loud sizzling could be heard, he then quickly whipped it away and shook it out of pain.

Fluttershy's ear twitched at this "Oh. The light hurts you...."

He nodded slowly.

Fluttershy looked into the house and back at him, [i"]I guess I could turn the lights off so he can come in....." she smiled nervously at him, "um.... if I turn the lights off um... will you be able to come inside?"

He nodded at this.

She smiled as her ears perked up, "Um... okay, give me a second please.." she then went inside her home to get rid of the light for her friend.

Fluttershy walked inside her cottage and turned off her kitchen light, then went and turned off all the other lights in the house so her friend could safely come in then she found Angel and grabbed him, picked him up and put him in her room. She smiled at him apologetically, "I'm sorry, but you... well, you are being mean". Then quickly closed the door and locked it so he couldn't get out .

She went to the back door, opening it for Slender Mane. She gave a nervous smile, her head low and submissive, "okay, you can come in now."

The stallion walked inside the cottage, looking around curiously as Fluttershy led him to her couch. all the animals in the cottage ran to hide from him in fear. She motioned to the couch with her hoof with a smile, "please sit down, would you like a dri- she eyed him nervously", "he doesn't have a mouth..." "um..... I mean would you like some coffe-" "I mean would you like a sna-" "um... I have a bo-" "he doesn't have eyes...." "I have a maga- um...."Fluttershy's ears went down nervously, "um... how about we play a game?"

Slender Mane nodded vigorously at this, clopping his hooves together in excitement.

Fluttershy smiled at this, "okay well can play eyespy-" "I mean um... uh...." she gave a sheepish smile, her ears down and a light blush on her cheeks, "the quiet game?"

Slender Mane stared at her with his faceless head a moment, it made Fluttershy's blood run cold. Then he slowly pulled out a box from his coat.

Fluttershy squinted as she struggled to read it in the dim lighting, "um... C-Candy...Candy land?"

Slender Mane nodded vigorously at this, hopping up and down excitedly, nearly banging his head on her ceiling.

Fluttershy giggled a bit at this, "okay, well lets go ahead and play okay?"

Slender Mane nodded vigorously again and quickly opened the box and set the game up on the floor, in minutes the game was set up and ready to play.

Fluttershy stared with wide eyes, her ears perked up straight at how quickly the game was set up, she soon grew a smile, as her eyes softened, "okay, this should be fun."
