I had heard rumours of a new establishment next door of Berry Punches, who hadn't? Apparently it was named Scratchers' Inn, sounds like fun, but what was so new and special about it.
In the end, I had taken the time to go there and see it for myself. The door front looks as if it they were serving fine tea. Maybe I should have pulled Rarity with me right there? I still proceeded with going in.
The first I notice once I entered, they have a highly glossy marble floor, and the decor is apparently cherry wood. This started to look more and more like something that would please Rarity. I just couldn't turn back before I had seen all of it first. This looks like a bar, or possibly a restaurant, and a more stylish one at that.
After a moment, a grey Unicorn approached me.
“A table for one, or will some pony join you?” she enquired.
“Yes, a table for one would be great!” I responded.
“Any particular table you would prefer, a centre, window, booth, balcony of VIP?” she continued.
“The balcony seems like fun!” I told her.
“Right this way, and I'll find you a balcony!” she explained, before she started to walk along a path to the elevator, leading me to the second floor, before I found myself looking down at the establishment in a rather private setting.
Then I noticed a small table up against the inner wall of the balcony she had chosen for me. There is a very comfortable looking chair, facing the entrance of my balcony. On the table, I could see a menu.
On the cover of the menu I see four images, to the right there are two girls, and to the left two males. I knew they were females and males, because it had been printed. I chose the first girl with a curious looking suit made up by a garment covering her hips and another looking like the casual vest Rarity had made for Nyx.
Maybe the light pink colour to the girl enticed me. According to the picture, she is very skinny looking, and stands on her hind hooves. Kind of like the people Twilight had encountered when she was at Canterlot High.
As I opened the menu I had just found on the table, I realised, they actually do serve tea, only too many different blends for my taste. Still, I could try to find something enjoyable, couldn't I. What kinds of blends would they have. There is an entire page for just fruit teas, another for silly blends, like mint. Oh and finally, the special blends.
What I found next is a selection of fancy salads, thankfully, I had had enough of reading through all the tea blends.
“I'll have a pot of Lemon Tea, and Spring Leaf Salad!” I pointed out.
“Then I'll be back with your order in a moment!” she declared, as she left for the kitchen.
I pondered my situation for a moment. The establishment felt a bit classy to me, but Rarity should most likely love it, by what I had seen this far. If the tea and salad was to be anything like the decor and service felt like, she was bound to love that too.
All of a sudden, my thoughts were broken right off, as I hear a pair of soft hooves slowly and discreetly moving towards me. The girl soon walked into the space behind me on my one seat balcony. Apparently there was another reason for her to wear the uniform depicted on the menu front. The name tag.
I didn't look at it right away, maybe I would look at it later, but for now I just looked her over. Her uniform is quite tight fitting, and is shiny. It is easy to see, since it is a bright pink hue.
Only now I was more interested in her face. I guess this is the first human I had seen. She still looks just as small and skinny as the image had made her out to be. Her lips had been painted a matching pink, I guess I like the colour, it is after all my favourite colour. Then I noticed her eyes are cerise. This girl had slight pink mane, or hair as well. The image had depicted her with a strange and hairless tail, which is three feet long. To my surprise, her hooves had been painted a cerise, matching her eyes. Even her eyelashes had been fashioned to match her mane. Then there is this strange part of her, aside from being skinny and walking on her hind legs, she apparently has hands, and her inch long semi square nails are painted in a matching cerise.
“If you lean back, I would love to scratch your ear!” she then spoke.
“Oh yeah, I guess that's what the novelty of this establishment was!” I responded, as I lean back, just waiting for her to do what she was supposed to do.
“Thanks. I hope you are going to enjoy my presence, since I enjoy my job here!” she responded, before she moved on to place her right hand on my shoulder, and used her left hand in order to scratch my ear in the manner she had been trained.
“Mmmm!” I just moaned.
This certainly did feel good. Much better than I had expected, as it turned out. Guess I hadn't been prepared for what she could do for me. Even if Rarity had taken me to the SPA several times, and I certainly had enjoyed it, and not just because I was with her, or the fact that it made her happy.
I felt her slowly move her fingers. These thin and seemingly delicate tips slowly eliciting strangely and unexpectedly pleasant sensations. I just closed my eyes, what else would I do. I had little to nothing to do, as I wait for my tea and salad to arrive. I didn't even have much anything to see. Even though I guess I could look down at every pony down stairs, or in any of the balconies I could see from here.
I still felt like just closing my eyes. Why look at other ponies, when I could enjoy what this strangely looking human girl could do for me.
My pleasant moment was interrupted slightly, as the Unicorn Waitress was back, serving my meal on the small table before me.
“Thanks!” I just mumbled, as she placed the bowl before me and quietly left my balcony.
“Bon Apetite. You're welcome!” she whispered in a more seductive voice than I had expected.
The balcony once more quiet, and the silence engulfed me in a pleasantly seductive manner. I just sat there with half closed eyes, looking at my meal, pondering if I dared eat, or what else I was to do.
This certainly is a place I felt like recommending to Rarity. Only I couldn't quite think as clearly as I had desired in order to decide, just how to word it, when I was to put the proposition before her.
I had noticed there was a fork by my salad, but this wasn't the fork I'd use, maybe, or was this intended for someone other than a Pony? Then I simply nodded to her, not knowing how to express what I had in mind. Hoping she would have an idea.
This is a casual establishment, serving food along with this more exotic 'Entertainment'. I chose to take hints, where I thought they were applicable. Her suit cover specific parts of her, maybe this could be seen as if she wasn't supposed to touch certain parts of me? She wears nothing on her head, or her hands, did this suggest she was expected to touch my head.
After a moment, I noticed her moving to one side, before she picked up the small and delicate fork in her free hand, before she slipped the fork down into the salad and caught a fair mouth piece of vegetables, before she moved it towards my muzzle, while still slowly scratching my ear. To me, it seems as if she had been trained in handling both the fork, and still be present enough to keep scratching my itch, as it were.
I had opened my mouth as I noticed the fork just as it approached my lips. Then I thoughtfully chew the vegetables, only to realise, just how stylish and tasty they are. I almost stopped for a moment, as the realisation sunk in, considering how much she distracted me.
Apparently she knew her job. This is something I could get used to, considering just how much I'm enjoying it this far. Is it the way she forked down the salad for me, the way she knew just when to slip the fork in for me to have the next bit. Or is it the way she knew how to scratch my ear, just as it was how her fingers managed to scratch me right out there. I got to hoof it to this girl, there's something with her nails, something in how she used them in order to tease me into quietly just lean back.
The salad does feel fresh, and I had to admit, this is a tasty salad, each and every peace of vegetable feels just right.
Maybe she had caught me off guard. I'm not exactly used to any pony serving me in this manner, besides, her fingers really did make this feel like a very special moment. She had been very well trained, and I guess she had to be a natural with this as well. I had to recommend this to others, once I see any ponies.
Every so often, she just stabbed a small selection of vegetables, then slowly moves the fork towards my face, and I happily open my mouth, then close it again, now with the vegetables inside, and she pulls the fork out.
She made me feel very special and important, not just the entertainer everyone looked at, and laughed at, or with. Now I'm important, in ways I had never felt, and probably never quite would get used to. She seemingly enjoyed her work no end.
It is as if I was doing her a service, rather than she's doing a service for me. It is at least the impression she gave me. Not so much in words, she never really said anything, not that I asked her, and she apparently did not need to ask me anything either.
Was it that enjoyable, just to be near me, and scratching my ear? I had never seen, or experienced anything quite like it, but I wasn't in the mood to knock the opportunity, not so long as I had the impression she was enjoying herself, while doing, what she is doing right now.
Somehow I sense a smile in her actions, just as I see a smile on her face. I just can't see her ears, so I had to contend with what I had.
After a while, maybe fifteen minutes in, I thought I hear what sounded like a giggle, but refrained from asking. I had no intention to embarrass the girl. If she said nothing, I couldn't know if she even could speak, or if she could understand Equestrian. Besides, living in a fairly small community like Ponyville, we probably had a strange dialect too.
I had noticed that she constantly uses the same hand for the fork scratching my ear respectively. I guessed this was why she stands on the same side, and scratching the same ear, while feeding me the delicious salad.
Then I realised, I wasn't really looking at who was down on the floor under where I sit, I'm just enjoying the salad, such as she fed it to me. Just as she obviously did enjoy scratching my ear. It isn't as if I could have protested. I like her to enjoy it, it is a part of me. I like every pony to smile, why not extending this towards this girl, along with every Pony in Ponyville as well as the rest of Equestria?
Little by little, she had brought a smile to my face, and then widened it further. Maybe she enjoyed to have me smile, just as I'm enjoying her to smile? I can't say, but I had the impression she enjoyed what she was doing.
Wherever they had found the girl, and why she had chosen to go, I had no idea, I guess I didn't care. She enjoys her work, and her life, for all I can say, just as I enjoy her presence, and what she is currently doing.
I can clearly see her delicate hand as she is holding the fork, the long painted nails standing out. Something about her kept reminding me of Rarity and how she acted, only the girl did not speak, so I can say nothing of her voice.
Maybe I could ask the waitress about these things later, or I should ask, next time I was here. I'm going to be back, not just for the delicious salad, and the price, but most certainly for her delicate and enjoyable service. Maybe I should make coming here into a habit. I certainly could get used to it, and enjoy what I had enjoyed here this far.
How typical, the salad had to come to an end, but by now she had made me enjoy it for at least an hour. I just stay in place, leaning back, enjoying her touch for a while longer. Then she realised I was finished. She just looked at me, almost as if she was pleading with me, but said nothing.
As I look up, I noticed her tail was held high. I'm not sure exactly what it means, but something told me she had enjoyed me, and that she most likely was proud she had managed to please me so well, for so long.
I just winked at her, waved my hoof, before I leave her behind, before I moved out of the balcony, and out of the establishment. Though I'm sure to be back here, just hoping she would be here tomorrow, as I return.
I'll ask for her, I guess. Or maybe I was to sample another table, regardless of if this table is free, and if she would be here then.
