Prologue
It was a clear and beautiful night. The moon was high, and it reflected of the ocean's surface. I looked out the window of one of the first aeroplanes made by Equestria. The metal contraption soared high in the air, leaving bits of exhaust that looked like clouds. My hand was on the side of my head, trying to keep it from falling. I yawned. It has been eleven hours since i last slept, and it was taking its toll on me. Drowsiness swam in my head, threatening to put me in its hypnotic spell. I had succumbed to sleepiness' wily charms and i was no longer conscious.
Later...
A sudden jerk of the aeroplane woke me from my semi-peaceful slumber and I looked about. Flight attendants ran frantically, passengers panicked, and suddenly, all hell broke lose. The engine exploded on the left wing, causing the plane to dive to the left.
"Fuck!" I yelled as I fell over. The plane was heading straight to the ocean, threatening to drown us all on impact. I grabbed onto a seat hard, and awaited the impact. As the plane headed straight to the water, a flight attendant slid down the aisle, and plummeting to the other side of the plane. A large quake shook the plane. And suddenly, I didn't feel anything. Just cold. The freezing, freezing cold.
