Doctor Whooves: The Millennium Party
Pinkie's Balloons Deflate
Previous ChapterBefore the Doctor and Pinkie Pie left, the Doctor approached the security pony's co worker and spoke to him, to tell him what happened to his co worker, his friend.
"Hello? You are the co worker of that security pony I was with, weren't you?" the Doctor asked.
"Yes, I am, How are you? How can I help you? Where is he?" the co worker asked.
"I'm here to tell you what happened to him. He died, one of those Cyber men got him and I couldn't do anything but I tried to save him, but sadly couldn't. Because he is dead, you must be very effected by it, I'm sorry, but you can still do one more thing for him..." the Doctor explained.
The co worker looked at the Doctor, tears we streaming down his muzzle, it was very obvious that he was very broken and damaged by the news of his best friend who he worked with had died. "What can I do?"
"You can do one thing, go to his family and friends, tell them how he saved the world and prevented alien, metal robots from destroying the planet and all of Equestria forever, tell them how brave he was and how proud they should be of him." the Doctor explained.
"Yes, of coarse I will." the co worker answered.
"Thank you." the Doctor replied.
The Doctor and Pinkie Pie boarded the boat that originally took them to the millennium party. They crossed the river that was separating the mainland of Manehatten and the island that the T.A.R.D.I.S was parked on. The left the boat when they arrived and stepped onto the ground, the approached the T.A.R.D.I.S and entered after the Doctor had opened the door. The strange thing was that both, Pinkie Pie and the Doctor were totally silent on their way to the T.A.R.D.I.S, they didn't even whisper to each other, or even look at each other. It was obvious that the night they had just had was totally unexpected. All they wanted was a good night out, but they ended up destroying an entire fleet of Cyber men and yet seeing ponies dying too, that's what effected Pinkie Pie the most, and for the Doctor, the first time seeing ponies die. Depression filled the T.A.R.D.I.S, it was very quite and the only noise was the T.A.R.D.I.S itself. Pinkie Pie was the first to break the silence.
"Doctor?" Pinkie Pie asked.
"Yes, Pinkie? What is it?" the Doctor answered.
"I've been thinking about what my friends have been saying about you, they said that you're amazing and wonderful in so many ways. They told be about the adventures they had with you. Twilight, Derpy, Captain Jack and Applejack, they all told me about the adventures they had with you, but they all said that they were close to death as well, but not as close as we were just now. They said that you would always protect your companions who travel with you the best you could and that there is a very low chance, almost impossible, that you would fail to defend your companions and that we were totally safe with you. I think I know why..." Pinkie explained.
"Why is that then?" the Doctor asked.
"Because the adventures that they had with you, yes, they were close to death, and yes, you did save them. But I don't think they saw what I saw just now when they travelled with you. You save everypony you can but you can never save everypony at once. I think they only said those things because you did save everypony, but only because you could. But what we just experienced in Manehatten proves that you try to save everyone you can, but sometimes you can't. I just want to say thank you. You saved everyone you could, you're not a pony who just want's to save themselves, you want to save everypony else. You tried your best, and you saved the day from those Cyber men, but your best wasn't enough to save the rest who died. But if it wasn't for you, nopony in our time would be here to live, to celebrate and to enjoy the world as it should be." Pinkie Pie smiled.
"Thank you, Pinkie. I always try my best, but you're right, my best isn't always enough. I think you should tell them that it's not as safe as they though it was when you tell them about your adventure." the Doctor agreed.
"Oh, I will, but I will tell them how you saved the day but at a cost and I will tell them how, sometimes, things aren't so simple when traveling with you through out time and space. I will warn them that things can get very, very dark with you and your enemies and to take more care, to sometimes take care of themselves when with you and to help the best they can, because you might not be able to save them because something has happened to you, and if something has happened to you, then it might have to be you companions who have to save the day." Pinkie Pie replied.
"You're right, you should, it would be for the best. But for now, Pinkie, it's time to go home, to a safer place." the Doctor announced.
The Doctor set the T.A.R.D.I.S controls for his and Pinkie Pie's original time. Pinkie Pie left the T.A.R.D.I.S when they arrived and told all of her friends what happened and how the Doctor was more amazing than anypony thought. The Doctor sat by the T.A.R.D.I.S, watching her zoom around Ponyville, gathering up her friends to tell them the story of her adventure with him. He trotted back into his magic blue box.
