Chapters finding a strange changeling
Fluttershy was outside feeding her animals and some of the nearby woodland animals that didn't stay at her cottage. After feeding all of them she caught sight of Angel bunny who was bouncing up and down while yelling at the other animals. He then put his paw on his face in annoyance and ran off and unluckily towards the Everfree forest. Fluttershy was scared of the Everfree despite being in it quite a bit with her friends but rarely on her own but she couldn't let angel bunny go in there on his own. She flow after him as fast as she could after her little white bunny, she tried to keep up but the bunny was very fast but she could sight of him.
Then suddenly, he stop in front of something, as Fluttershy got closer she saw that the something was about the shape of a filly and pure black, the filly thing had short flowing dark gray hair, she then saw the filly thing's legs, they were pure black like the coat but had a lot of holes in them. Also the filly thing had transparent wings coming out of a pink turtle shell back. the wings also had a lot of holes in them. But that wasn't what bothered Fluttershy it was the fact that on the filly thing's forehead was a cut about 2 cm deep and it was bleeding rather heavily.
Fluttershy then figured out that the filly thing in front of her was a filly changeling but it's horn had been cut off. The filly changeling then opened it's eyes gently to reveal instead of changeling blue like what Fluttershy had seen at the wedding attack was pure light pink that was almost as light as Fluttershy mane. She slowly got to her hooves which now that she was standing appear more holey then meant to be and so did her wings. The filly begin backing away probably cause she was scared. Fluttershy then tried to calm her down.
''It's okay little one i won't hurt you'' Slowly after Flutteshy repeated that a couple of times, the filly got closer.
''See im not gonna hurt you wants your name little one'' The changeling filly looked at her and uttered it in a quiet, nervous voice
''s-sere-Serena'' Fluttershy smiled and nodded.
''Wanna come to my cottage Serena'' Serena looked hopeful and said still nervously
''r-real-Really?'' Fluttershy nodded and went down to her belly to let Serena on her back. Serena slowly walked on to Fluttershy's back and curled up. Fluttershy smiled and slowly moved back up onto her hooves. Angel who had been nearby jumped up onto Fluttershy's back and curled up with Serena to keep her not so scared. Fluttershy then flapped her wings and took off into the air and they were soon out of the Everfree forest and back to the cottage. She gently opened the door and walked into a back room from the living room, this back room was the bathroom.
''Would you mind getting off me so i can take a quick bath to get this mud of me'' Serena slowly jumped off Fluttershy using her very torn wings to land safely but she wasn't on her hooves for long as within seconds she was back laying on the floor on the mat. Fluttershy got in the bath and was out in about 5 minutes. She then ran water again but not very high this time. She said the Serena
''can you get in the bath Serena'' Serena jumped into a bath after a moment. Fluttershy cleaned all the mud of the filly changeling and then after Serena was out of the bath, she grabbed a bandage, a small one and gently put in on the cut on Serena head. She then led Serena upstairs to her bedroom, and told Serena to go on to the bed. After Serena did. Fluttershy gently sat at the bottom and said
''Serena where is your horn?'' Serena looked down at the bed with her pink eyes sadly.
''t-They c-cut i-it o-off at s-sometime e-earlier t-today cause that i'm d-differ-different'' Fluttershy nodded sad for the filly.
''Why do they think your different'' she said.
''c-Cause of my p-pink e-eyes'' Fluttershy nodded and then said to Serena.
''Get some sleep little one'' Serena slowly did and left Fluttershy to go downstairs to sleep on the sofa only to find Discord there. She facehoof.
''Discord! why are you here'' the Draconequus stared at her and said.
''Cause i wanna be with my friend Shuttershy and i sense a changeling here'' Fluttershy signed and said.
''First of all it's Fluttershy not Shuttershy and secondly that changeling is a hurt, scared filly named serene'' Discord slowly nodded before Fluttershy said something else.
''So are you gonna help me look after her and disguise her from my friends cause if they find out, they might want me to give her up and i can't do that a filly just like i couldn't do it to you'' This stuck Discord as he nodded.
''You wanted to reform me so i wouldn't become stone again?'' Fluttershy nodded and a blush slowly grow on her cheeks. He noticed this and smiled.
''You like me don't you?'' His voice didn't even have a tone of funniness. Fluttershy blushed harder and slowly said.
''y-Yes'' Discord gasped and picked her up and gently planted a kiss on her lips. she actually kissed him back. They then parted and Discord said.
''How are we gonna tell your friends this?'' Fluttershy signed and said.
''I don't know'' Discord nodded wondering himself. They chatted for a bit on what the plans are for them and Serena and most came out as marriage and adopting Serena which they agreed on and after that, the newly made mare friend and colt friend lay down on the sofa and slept together happily and peacefully.
fluttershy went upstairs to see the little sea blue pegasus still sleeping in bed. she smiled and then spoke.
''sweetie come on up time for school'' her adoptive daughter that so far nopony knew about slowly crooked her green eyes open and nodded. sea sun got up and slowly picked up a brush with her hoof and brushes her golden hair. fluttershy picked up a small saddle bag up and gently laid it on sea sun's back over her wings.
sea sun smiled as the saddle bag was put on. yay she thought i can leave and go to school with the other fillies and colts. serena/sea sun ran down stairs to see discord who was waiting to take his adoptive daughter. fluttershy closed her eyes and sign.
''discord....you can't take serena to school cause of you know...'' she stared at her coltfriend who was sulking.
''fine...!'' discord smiled happily and they both walked sea sun to school. miss cheerilee spotted them and smiled.
''okay first question why is discord here and second who's this adorable filly'' fluttershy signed and said.
''discord's my coltfriend and this is sea sun my little cousin who's staying with me'' cheerilee smiled and replied
''don't worry miss shy she in good hooves'' discord and fluttershy smiled and left. cheerilee then said to sea sun.
''okay sweetie follow me'' sea sun/serena followed her while looking over her shoulder at her adoptive parents. the foals were chatting all over the place.
''okay class calm down'' everypony did as they were told and all took their seats. sea sun became scared at all the foals who were there. there were a total of 14 seats and 13 fillies meaning that the empty seat in the front next to diamond tiara, unfortunately but sea sun doesn't know that, diamond tiara noticed sea sun's blank flank and grinned.
''okay everypony we got a new student with us today. please give her a warm welcome'' there was a huge okay within the class.
''sea sun introduce yourself'' said cheerilee to little sea sun. sea sun nodded and stared at the class shyly.
''um.....im sea...sun. i have just...moved here from fillydelphia to stay...with my cousin...fluttershy. i hope i can get along...with all of you'' cheerilee smiled and everypony clapped and said things like welcome to the class or hope you like it here. cheerilee motioned for sea sun to take the seat next to diamond tiara. sea sun sat down and put her saddle bag next to her on the floor.
later on the way out of class, diamond tiara and sliver spoon came up to sea sun.
''well well isn't it the new filly how can you have a coat color that's blue, sea blue at that, i hate the sea and i hate the shining sun so i hate your golden mane and tail, so new filly what's your talent'' diamond tiara grinned as sea sun's eyes began filling with tears. sea sun glanced at her blank flank. sliver spoon noticed her blank flank.
''well let's just say your a total crybaby, ugly and a blank flank!'' she said in pride which made sea sun start actually crying. applebloom darted over seeing the bulling and pushed diamond but not very hardly but it did knock her over but then diamond was wrapped in a green glow coming from sweetie belle's horn. diamond screamed.
''sweetie belle! when the hell did you learn magic?!'' scootaloo was somehow on top of the school, she jumped flapping her wings and pushed diamond down into a mud puddle. scootaloo continued flapping her wings and was actually flying which shocked even the crusaders. scootaloo noticed that her wings were flapping and that she wasn't on the ground and smiled brightly while diamond tiara screamed with sliver spoon by her side.
''ugh i hate you and i hate mud!'' she ran off while the crusaders checked up on sea sun.
''hey you don't listen to those bullied we think you look amazing i mean who wouldn't want to look like a sun over a sea'' said sweetie belle who was using her magic to use a cloth to remove sea sun's tears. scootaloo who was still flying then said.
''hey sea sun you should join the cutie mark crusaders i mean we need a flightless pegasus, not to be mean, to look after now that i can fly'' sea sun smiled happily before nodding.
Discord and Fluttershy were now happily in pure love and with little scared Serena, they were like a family. A pure family. Fluttershy though had learned something about Serena. she can't change forms to disguise herself! But from what Serena said, she can tell a changeling in disguise. But Serena, Fluttershy also had learned, wanted to go away form a cottage but not as a changeling no as a normal filly, she wanted to go to school, play with the other fillies and make friends. Sometimes Fluttershy would come in and see Serena looking at her hooves with some tears in her eyes.
Fluttershy felt sorry for the poor little changeling foal, she had to help Serena learn to transform into a different form soon cause then she could go outside and do what she wanted. But the question was how? Serena had no horn to focus her magic into and could changeling use magic without horns? Though Serena seemed to quite a lot pick up bunnies and drinks without touching them hinting they could. She went up to the filly changeling one morning after finding her in the back playing tag with some of the Jackalope.*
''Serena sweetie'' Serena heard Fluttershy and ran over to her.
''Yes miss Fluttershy?'' said the tiny hornless changeling before she sat down, a Jackalope soon sitting next to her. Serena smiled at the little Jackalope. this Jackalope was a small black one that Serena had called Moonlight and soon Moonlight was following Serena everywhere and it had only been a week since Fluttershy had found Serena which hinted that Serena was good with animals.
''I want you to try and change forms'' Serena nodded gently and after about 5 seconds a pink light admitted form the filly this caused both Fluttershy and moonlight to cover their eyes. After the light vanish, Serena wasn't there instead it was a small light blue Pegasus filly with curly yellow hair. The filly opened her eyes to reveal them to be emerald green, she stared at Fluttershy and said.
''Miss Fluttershy why do you look shocked?'' Said the small filly who Fluttershy soon figured out was Serena but in the normal Pegasus filly form.
''Nothing Serena but you finally got it'' The filly looked confused.
''Got what?''
''you figured out how to change forms''
''Really!?'' She looked at herself happily. She smiled brightly and begin running around in cycles.
''Okay Serena when you go to school now your name is sea sun. Sea for your light blue coat and sun for you yellow hair'' Serena/Sea sun nodded ''You will start tomorrow. now run along and find Dizzy* for me''
