Steve remembered back to what seemed like only seconds ago, but knowing Kang it could be years ago or years into the future. He remembered the Avengers fighting Kang, seeing Kang’s shields fall, and, as the leader of the Avengers, giving the order to charge. Kang tried to escape, and the energy he had accumulated in the process had engulfed Steve’s team. “Our allies are without injury, but…” Thor’s voice trailed off, which was odd, Thor always finished his thoughts. Cap reached up to rub his eyes, only to realize he no longer had fingers, or hands for that matter. What used to be his hands were solid singular masses. Upon further inspection, Steve realized that what used to be his hand now appeared to be a hoof. He looked around himself, and found that the rest of the team, save Thor, were also horses. Thor could not tell if Steve was at all affected by this realization, “What, happened?” Steve asked, “We should probably try and get a few ideas by the time the rest of them wake up. Some of them don’t handle surprises to well…” Steve said to Thor as he motioned with his head towards the other unconscious Avengers. The current line-up of the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes were Captain America, their leader, Iron Man, or Tony Stark, his second in command, Thor, Yellowjacket, or Dr. Henry Pym, the Wasp, known to some as Janet van Dyne, and most worryingly, Bruce Banner, known to the media as his angrier self, the Hulk. “Aye, I would rather not deal with Banner at this time.” Thor answered. “Why didn’t you turn into a… horse, like us?” Cap asked Thor. “This dimension is one of magic. The energies seem to have little effect on princes of Asgard, but thou and the others are merely mortals, and the magic hath changed thee into this current form.” Upon finishing the sentence Thor struck Mjolnir against the ground, changing into a horse himself. “Physical forms are easy to manipulate as a being of magic.” Cap raised an eyebrow at Thor’s sentence, “Loki taught me, and I believe it better for a group of horses to be traveling together than having one odd member.” Cap, not wanting to argue, decided to accept whatever Thor just said, despite the fact that Thor had given himself wings and a horn on top of taking on the form of a horse. “Before we try to wake the others, we should get accustomed to our new bodies, incase trouble arises,” Cap suggested. “I require no training. My Asgardian physiology allows me to comprehend these minor changes more efficiently than thou mortals.” Thor stated bluntly, “However thou should become accustomed to thine new form. I shall keep watch over our friends.” Cap nodded, strapped his shield to his back, with surprising ease given his lack of hands, and decided a run was a good way to start training. Heroes RebornOn the way back from his run, Cap tried to modify some of his martial arts to fit his new body. He also had time to gaze into a rather clear section of a river to finally get a good look at himself. His new fur was white, and his mane and tail were yellow. He was still wearing his costume and mask; it too was modified to fit his new form. He decided it would be best to get back to the group; Thor would need help when the rest woke up. Cap returned, thankful to see that Hank was the only one who woke up since he left. “Hey Hank. Glad you’re awake.” “This is amazing! We changed forms! And not only that, but our uniforms too! This is unbelievable! I need to run some tests on this! If we aren’t the only ones like this on this planet it could be a whole new species!” Hank exclaimed, probably too excited for his own good. Cap noticed that Hank was also a white horse, but with a more butterscotch color mane and tail. “Glad you’re excited about this,” Cap said calmly, “Just go and make sure you know how to use your body, in case something comes up.” Cap turned to look at Thor. Thor was an orange horse with a blond mane. Cap also noticed that Thor had decided to give himself blond facial hair to match his mane. Cap found this an odd choice given the fact that Thor was also a horse, with wings, and a horn. Never the less this did not surprise him. “Thor, let’s try to get the others up.” Thor nodded as he headed for Banner. Cap casually trotted over towards Janet, he was going to wait to wake up Tony last. “Jan?” Cap stated as he gently shook Janet with his hoof. “Janet, get up.” As she started to stir, Cap began explaining calmly “I’m going to need you to stay calm alright, but we are all, well… we are all horses.” Saying that out loud sounded ridiculous. Janet opened her eyes to see Cap standing over to her side. She blinked a few times to make sure she wasn’t seeing things, but yes, Cap was a horse. She started giggling as she stood up. “You think we would be used to these sorts of things, seeing who we work with…” “Yeah, Thor thinks it is some sort of magic.” Cap responded. He was glad she didn’t start freaking out. He was already ready to deal with Hulk and Tony, but he didn’t want to have to worry about Janet as well. He noticed her fur was slightly tanner than Hank’s and his own. She had a black mane that fell to the right side of her neck. She also had, what appeared to be, a very small set of wings on her shoulders. “Go try out your new body, and if you see Hank tell him to try out his powers too.” Cap told Jan. “You don’t want help with Bruce and Tony?” Jan asked sarcastically. “I didn’t say don’t come back, just go try out your body.” Cap jokingly responded. “A’ight Cap!” Jan stated as she ran off. … At that time, Thor took the time to change back to his normal form to wake Bruce, lest the hulk should become a problem. Thor decided the best thing to do was to wake up Bruce, then tell him he was a horse before he could figure it out on his own. Thor thought this was a good idea. “Friend Banner! Awake!” Thor exclaimed as he gently, well gently for Thor, shook Banner. “What?! What’s happening?!” Bruce exclaimed as he bolted up into a sitting position. “Thou art a horse, as is the Captain, Man of Iron, the Wasp and Yellowjacket.” Thor stated. Bruce just cocked his head to the side as he continued to look at Thor, getting more and more confused as time went on. “Look at thine self.” Thor blurted, slightly upset that Bruce didn’t understand. Bruce just looked down at what should have been his hands, expecting this to be another one of Thor’s failed attempts at humor. After noticing his hooves for the first time Bruce’s mind took a moment to come to the realization that Thor was in fact telling the truth. Bruce was the most tan of all the Avengers. His mane was a dark brown. He noticed that he was wearing full clothing, not just the shorts that the Hulk was wearing. He even had his glasses. “Curious…” Bruce whispered. Seeing that Bruce seemed to handle this well, Thor loosened his grip on Mjolnir and again turned into his horse form. “The Captain will want you to test out thine new form.” Thor stated before starting off towards where Stark lay. … As Thor arrived, he saw Cap already inputting the codes into Tony’s armor, in order to allow for him to gain access to Tony without the automated defense systems triggered. “How did Bruce take the news?” Cap asked without taking his eyes off of Tony’s armor. “Well, although he was vastly perplexed. With Odin’s blessing the Hulk shall not taste Mjolnir’s sting this day. And what of Janet?” Thor inquisited. “Didn’t faze her a bit.” Cap stated as he put in the final code allowing the faceplate of the Iron Man armor to slide up onto Tony’s forehead. He noted that, like himself and Hank, Tony too had white fur, this time accompanied by a black mane. Tony also had black facial hair, which again confused Cap, but he had stopped questioning these things around Thor’s third sentence spoken to him upon waking up. Despite the fact his head was shaped much differently now than it had been prior to their alteration, the armor moved the faceplate flawlessly, Cap noticed. In fact, their transportation had repaired all of the damage they sustained in battle. All the small rips and tears on Cap’s suit were completely repaired. All of the dings and dents in Tony’s armor were also fixed. There were no signs of cuts or bruises at all. Looking at them all, nobody would even know they were ever in a fight in the first place. “Shall we awaken him now?” Thor asked, pulling Cap out of his thoughts. “Yeah… I was just thinking.” Cap responded. “A simple task.” Thor calmly stated. Inhaling fully to scream, and readying Mjolnir for a thunderous boom. “NO!” Cap shouted as loud as he possible could, seemingly disappointing Thor in the process. Cap then started to gently turn Tony’s head and addressed JARVIS, Iron Man’s onboard computer, “JARVIS, could you wake up Tony and provide a status report of both armor and life support systems?” “Yes Sir, Captain Rogers,” Tony’s electronic butler responded in its English accent, “Initiating wake up protocols now. Armor integrity at 100%. Life support at 100%. Atmosphere appears to be breathable. Unidentifiable energy in the air. Unable to connect to STARK satellite network.” “Thank you JARVIS.” Cap responded. After about two or three minutes, Tony started to stir. “What happened? Did we win?” Tony muttered as he tried his hardest to open his eyes against the blinding sunlight. “Well, we…” Cap started, searching for the best way to break their current situation to Tony. Thor promptly interrupted saying “Kang’s final blast has sent us beyond the planes of Yggdrasil into an entirely new plane of magical energies. Friend Stark, thou hath been transformed into a horse.” Tony immediately opened both his eyes and mouth in order to lecture Thor on how magic does not exist, before remembering why he didn’t open his eyes before. The sun poured into his eyes and he let out a groan of annoyance, before mentally commanding his faceplate to return to his face. As the sensors in his helmet calibrated in order to allow only the most comfortable amount of light into his eyes Tony stated, “Magic, does not exist. It is simply…” He was then cut off by falling face first into the dirt, as he tried to stand on two legs, prompting a hearty chuckle from Thor. “Tony, I don’t really care about what it is at the moment, but we are horses. I suggest you get used to your body.” Cap stated as he helped Tony back up into a more comfortable standing position. Tony finally looked at both Cap and Thor and came to the conclusion that they were, in fact, horses. His first reaction was to try to fly, using his boot and hand repulsors. Because the boot jets were much more powerful than the ones on his hand, this led to Tony’s hind legs doing a flip over his front legs, landing on his back, again causing Thor to laugh with mighty resolve. As Cap again helped Tony to his feet, Cap tried his best to calm Tony, “Pull yourself together, we have been through worse and have found a way out. We need you to be able to think, and think clearly. Hank, Janet and Bruce should be returning soon, I suggest you adjust to your new body before then.” Tony’s reply was inaudible to both Cap and Thor, as he walked away. “Has thine ‘micro-phones’ failed thee, friend Stark?” Thor added in a humored tone. Tony replied with another inaudible sound, this one significantly more angered. Thor laughed once more. … After Tony got accustomed to how his body worked, he took the time to set his suit to solar recharge, in case electricity wasn’t available on this plane. He entered the edge of the forest in order to gain some privacy as he unsuited to better look at his suit. Tony noticed that his repulsors would be useless in combat. His missiles and bullets were completely full, but, unlike his repulsors, they were a limited weapon. Unless he flew over every opponent, he would have to rely on his bullets and the enhanced strength his suit allowed him. He could also use his unibeam, but that drained his suits power and his life support if used too frequently. He took the time to look at his own body. His mane was closely cut to his fur and his Arc reactor was still imbedded in his chest. As he continued looking at himself, he noticed something on his flank. It appeared to be a picture of two gears, one gear had little missiles, guns and weapons on it, the other had his Arc reactor, the Iron Man faceplate and the Avengers’ “A” symbol. He would be sure to tell the rest about this later. After getting back in his suit, he ran a diagnostic, which reminded him that he had his “booster jets” on his back. He normally used them on long flights, but he now was going to use them as some sort of dash jets, to allow him to move faster, without having to fly. He practiced his new idea while heading back towards the other Avengers. Adapt or DieAs twilight began, the Avengers noticed the small town Janet had seen earlier. The only thing standing between them and the town was a moderately sized orchard. At the north most portion of the orchard, there was a large red barn and a smaller house. All of the lights seemed to still be on inside. “We could stop and see what we can learn, or we could continue to town.” Cap suggested. “I think we should go on into town. Also, we should probably walk around the orchard. We really don’t know this plane’s property laws.” Tony added. Hank added after Tony, “I agree, the town seems like the best place to go. Then we won’t trouble this family. We may be able to find a hotel or something.” “Any objections to the town?” Cap asked. “Nah, let’s just hurry. I’m tired.” Janet added. “Aye. This day hath been trying for us all.” Thor added. “Alright. Let’s go.” Cap decided. And with that, they headed to the town. … Upon entering the city, the Avengers started seeing that this town was not as small as they originally thought. They noticed what appeared to be a gingerbread house, which was a center of commotion. “I think we should start there. It seems like that would be the best way to get information.” Bruce suggested. “I agree. Go in and try to act normal. Blend in and try not to arouse suspicion.” Cap ordered. … As the Avengers entered the building, every eye turned towards the door. After what seemed like a solid fifteen minutes, a happy pink horse descended from the ceiling. “Hey, youmustbenew! BecauseIknoweveryponyhere, andyouaren’tfromaroundhere, becauseifyouwereIwouldknowyou!” the small pony shouted excitedly. “I’m Pinkie Pie, and this is my house. Welcome to Ponyville! I can introduce you to everypony in the whole town if you’d like!” “Umm… What?” Tony was the first to speak. “I caught only bits and pieces of that.” “Oh, don’t mind her. She gets really excited to meet new ponies. The name’s Rainbow Dash, best flyer in all of Equestria.” A light blue pony with a rainbow mane and tale said from behind. “By the way, cool armor.” “Thanks. It is a highly advanced prosthesis I designed while in captivity. It keeps me from dying due to shrapnel that continually moves closer to my heart.” Tony responded. “What’s shrapnel?” Rainbow Dash asked. “Chunks of metal that are now floating around in my body.” Tony said finally raising his faceplate. Cap, deciding that this conversation was going nowhere, turned back to Pinkie Pie. “We are looking for a place to stay tonight. We don’t have any money, but are willing to work to pay our keep. Also, anybody who can give us information would be helpful.” “Well, I know where an inn is, but I don’t know about where you can find work. But I know the bestest pony around for information! Follow me!” Pinkie excitedly bounced off into the crowd as Cap and Thor followed. “TWILIGHT! TWILIGHT!” Pinkie yelled as she bounded and seemingly teleported through the party. “Yes, Pinkie?” A purple pony with a pink, purple and dark blue, whom Cap assumed was Twilight, answered. “Can I help you with something?” “Yeah! There are new ponies over there who need your help, I don’t know their names but… I DON’T KNOW THEIR NAMES?! WHAT HAVE I DONE? I NEVER GOT THEIR NAMES?!” Pinkie started to yell. “Calm down Pinkie, it is fine, I’m sure they are just a little thrown off by all of this. If you give it a bit of time, I’m sure you’ll get their names.” Twilight reassured her as they headed back to Thor and Cap. “Hello ma’am, I am Captain Steven Rogers, and this is Thor. We were informed you could help us.” Cap greeted Twilight as Thor gave a slight bow. Cap noticed that, like Thor, Twilight had wings and a horn. … Twilight eyed both Captain Steven Rogers and Thor and thought that they both had really odd names. Furthermore, they were large. The Captain was easily the size of Big Mac, and Thor was at least two hoofs taller than Princess Celestia. Thor was also an alicorn. He carried a hammer while the Captain carried a shield. It was odd to see anypony outside of the royal guard carrying a weapon. “I am Twilight Sparkle, and I see you have met Pinkie Pie. Let’s talk outside where it is a little quieter.” Twilight said as she led the three ponies outside. … “What can I help you with?” Twilight started once the four of them were outside. Thor responded, “As you may have guessed, we are not from around here. We have traveled quite far and are lost in thine culture. We also require shelter for the night, but lack any compensation, minus our own skills and ability and willingness to work. We would be eternally grateful for all assistance you could provide.” “Yeah, I pegged you guys for foreigners since I saw you. As you might have seen, you are dressed pretty oddly… But I know the innkeeper, he can probably set you guys up in rooms for free tonight. I’ll meet you in the morning, and I’ll bring a friend who will help you fit in. Then we will help you find something to do. But go rest for the night. Pinkie, if you would show them to the inn…” Twilight finished with an oddly knowing smile, like as if she was also in this position before. “Thank you ma’am.” “Aye, thank thee Lady Sparkle.” “Twilight’s fine.” Twilight said as she re-entered the party. “Okie dokie loki! Let’s get you guys to the inn!” Pinkie Pie stated as they went to find the rest of their party. Secret AvengersThe next morning, Cap woke up the rest of the Avengers and explained the events that would take place that day. He explained who Twilight Sparkle was, that someone would be helping them fit in, and that they would be finding jobs to help pay for their stay. They then got ready, and headed out to wait for the Twilight and the other pony. It was not long before Twilight and a gray pony with a purple mane and tail arrived at the entrance of the inn. “Oh my! What are you wearing? You cannot be dressed like that! Clothes like that should be reserved for… never. Minus you,” The gray pony said pointing at Thor. “You should only wear yours for formal occasions. Go back to your rooms and take that off!” “This is Rarity. She is quite picky when it comes to clothing.” Twilight said, giving Rarity a look. “Wait. You guys don’t wear anything, at all?” Cap said, very visibly blushing. “Hast thou lost thine sense of sight, Friend Rogers?” Thor quipped towards Cap, “These creatures have travelled nude since—“ “Ah yes, Twilight said you weren’t from around here…” Rarity said, cutting Thor off mid-sentence in her slightly annoyed, southern belle sort of way. The Asgardian prince narrowed his gaze on the gray pony, “But that is no excuse for bad fashion, now away, and change out of those clothes.” The Avengers returned to their rooms and awkwardly disrobed. “Thanks for not shouting at the one who interrupted you.” Cap expressed his gratitude to Thor. This was the first time Cap had not been exasperated by the Asgardian. “Aye, however if she is brazen enough to do so again I will have to scold her, and hammer my point in.” Thor said with a hearty chuckle. The other Avengers stared at Thor blankly for a few moments. “Dammit Thor!” Tony said, breaking the awkward silence. They returned to the two ponies in front of the inn, Thor still with his hammer and Cap with his shield. As they returned, Twilight noticed just how odd they actually were. Apart from their odd names, they had a good amount of strange accessories. The one named Tony Stark had a light on his chest, and Rogers and Thor both still had their weapons. A couple of their cutiemarks were also quite bizarre. Tony’s seemed normal enough. Twilight assumed his two gears meant he was good with technology, like the mechanics on the trains. Hank Pym’s was a collection of insects, Twilight would have to talk to Fluttershy about that one. Janet’s was a mannequin. Twilight knew where she would be working for a while. Bruce Banner’s was odd. It was like Pinkie Pie’s, but the balloons were all pierced and leaking air. Twilight had no clue what this meant, and didn’t really want to find out. Captain Rogers’ was a flag that Twilight didn’t recognize. It was red and white striped, with a field of blue filled with stars. The flag looked as if it were blowing in a breeze from the front of the Captain. Thor’s however was the most peculiar. His cutiemark was an oak tree from early spring starting from just above his knee that climbed up to his flank. The top of his cutiemark was a cloud spewing lightning, all in front of a faded, but visible rainbow bolt shooting out of a golden city. Twilight made a note to ask about that later. “Well, based on your cutiemarks, I think I can find some work for a couple of you. I will have to speak with the rest of you.” Twilight began, “Rarity, would you please take Janet to your place, her cutiemark seems like it would fit well with yours.” “Oh my! I hadn’t even noticed that!” Rarity exclaimed. “Yes, we can get started right away! This should be so exciting! Somepony else who appreciates fashion!” Rarity exclaimed again as she and Jan ran toward Rarity’s dress shop. “This is going to be such fun!” Jan screamed in excitement. “HEY! We appreciate fashion too!” Twilight yelled after Rarity. Turning back to the others, she looked toward Hank, “You’ll be working with Fluttershy, but we’ll have to take you there. She is pretty shy about these things. Thor, you can work with Rainbow Dash, I believe you met her last night. She lives over in that cloud. You can fly up there, she is probably still asleep. Wake her up and tell her I sent you and that you two are to work together.” “Aye.” Thor stated as he gripped Mjolnir’s leather strap in his teeth and spun it up, taking off toward the cloud Twilight directed him to. Both Cap and Twilight found this odd given the fact that Thor had wings. Twilight began to speak, however Cap cut her off by shaking his head and telling her not to ask in an exasperated voice. “Right… Aaaaaand the rest of you. What are your skills? What can you do?” Twilight asked the remaining assembled Avengers. “Well, I don’t like to brag, but I am an expert on technology.” Tony stated. “I built the armor I was wearing, to save my life.” “Riiiiiiiiiiight, the rest of you?” Twilight continued. “I am not opposed to doing labor intensive work.” Cap stated. “Excellent, head to the orchard to the north of town and tell the pony in the hat that I sent you to help. Her name is Applejack.” Twilight told Cap. “Thank you ma’am.” Cap said as he ran off. “And you Bruce?” “I am an expert in gamma radiation, but I am assuming that that is not a massively required field here?” Bruce said jokingly. “I don’t know what that is, but I’m sure Pinkie Pie could use your help!” Twilight said rather confused. “Alright, Gingerbread house?” Banner asked. “It is a place called Sugarcube Corner, but yeah, it is the gingerbread house.” Twilight answered. “Alright. Thank you.” Banner said as he trotted off. “And Tony, you can work with me! I am sure you have some questions, and I have some as well. After we take Hank to meet Fluttershy, we can begin.” Twilight explained. “Awesome. If I may, while working, could I use your place to make some adjustments to my armor, and do you know anybody with thumbs?” Tony asked as the trio headed towards Fluttershy’s cabin. “What is a thumb?” Twilight asked. “I’ll explain later” Tony replied. Hank and Fluttershy: Part 1Twilight, after stopping and introducing Tony to Spike so they could get acquainted before she returned, led Hank to Fluttershy’s cottage. “Fluttershy is really timid around most ponies, even the ones she has known for a while. She isn’t that great with meeting new ponies, so this may take a bit before she warms up to you. I ask that you remain patient with her.” Twilight warned as they drew nearer to Fluttershy’s house. “Of course.” Hank responded, “I don’t want to make anyone-”. He stopped as he caught himself, then he continued “anypony uncomfortable.” “It is probably going to be unavoidable, but she will eventually warm up to you. She is just a bit nervous.” With that, Twilight and Hank reached Fluttershy’s front door. Twilight extended a hoof and knocked. “Fluttershy! There is somepony I would like you to meet!” Twilight called out. After a few seconds, a small white rabbit opened the door. The little rabbit looked Hank up and down a few times before gesturing inside. “Why thank you Angel. Is Fluttershy even here?” Twilight asked as she led Hank into the cottage. With the question, Angel nodded his head and pointed to a room on the second floor. “I’ll go talk to her” Twilight said as she gently lifted off the ground and flew in the direction that Angel had pointed. As soon as Twilight left, Angel started circling Hank, as if he were thoroughly inspecting him. After the first few circles, Hank stopped watching the little rabbit. Angel took this opportunity to ready himself. Angel sat on his back and let out a swift kick to the back of Hank’s leg. Had Hank been anticipating this sudden attack, he probably would have been unfazed, but since he was taken by surprise, Hank lost his balance and fell to the floor with a rather loud thud. “Angel!” a soft, but surprisingly stern voice sounded from the second floor balcony. As Hank got to his feet, he looked towards the voice to notice a light yellow pegasus with a light pink mane and tail, whom he assumed to be Fluttershy. Twilight also appeared from the room she had previously entered. The two ponies glided down to the first floor. “Are you okay?” Twilight asked Hank as Fluttershy stared intently at the small rabbit, who immediately ceased his laughing and stood completely strait. “Yeah, I’m fine, thanks.” Hank responded, “I’ve taken my fair share of blows.” “I am so sorry about Angel.” Fluttershy said softly as she turned to face Hank. “He can be naughty sometimes, but he is really sweet once you get to know him.” “Oh, don’t worry. It is fine. My name is Hank Pym, or Yellowjacket” Hank reassured her as he turned to get a better look at her. He noticed that, like himself, she had an insect themed cutiemark. Her cutiemark consisted of three pink butterflies. Hank was so excited about the potential knowledge these two could share. “I’m Fluttershy.” The little pony stated, breaking Hank out of his thoughts. “I take care of the animals out here. Twilight said you may be able to help.” “I would love to try.” Hank stated. “Well, I guess I am no longer needed here, I’ll get back to Tony and Spike.” Twilight stated as she left. “Well, if you want to come feed the animals with me, we can talk about what you can help me with.” Fluttershy stated as she led Hank out to feed the animals. Author's Note I am sorry for not uploading in a while, finals and the LSATs. So... have this with my most sincere apologies. Janet and Rarity: Part 1On the way to Carousel Boutique, Rarity and Janet discussed the different forms of fashion they were accustomed to. “And you should see how Steve dresses. He literally dresses eight decades behind the rest of us.” Janet said through her and Rarity’s laughing. “Then he is going to get along quite well with Applejack. Her sense of fashion is atrocious. She wanted to wear galoshes with her dress. It was a disaster!” Rarity laughed, as she opened the door to her shop. “So, I’m kinda new to this place. What’s the fashion like here?” Jan asked as she followed Rarity into the shop. “I keep fashion forward.” Rarity answered. “It really depends on the situation, and the pony.” “Ah, I can do that. It is relatively close to what I do for the Avengers.” Janet responded. “The Avengers?” Rarity asked puzzled. “Oh, right. The six of us, Steve, Thor, Tony, Hank, Bruce and I. As a group, we go by the name of the Avengers. It makes a bit more sense from where we’re from. As does the clothing we were wearing when you met us.” Janet explained. “You mean kind of like the Power Ponies? Your clothing did remind me of the couture they wore.” Rarity responded. “What are the Power Ponies?” Janet asked. “Characters from the books that little Spikey-wikey reads.” Rarity answered, “I didn’t know about them until Spike brought them up either.” “That is pretty funny.” Janet chuckled. “I don’t normally dress like that.” Janet said defensively. “Good. It was the best of the group, but still a little ostentatious for my taste.” Janet and Rarity continued talking about the finer points of fashion until the Carousel Boutique opened. “Well since you are new here, you should work with me on making a few dresses first, until you get the hang of it, then you can work on a dress yourself.” Rarity suggested, trying her best to not offend Janet, which was, of course, not her intention. “That sounds like a plan.” Janet said, taking no offense at Rarity’s comment. “Excellent, then let us get to work.” Applejack and Steve: Part 1Cap was pleased to see that the four ponies he was told to meet were all already awake. Being up early builds character. As he galloped down the rows of apple trees, he noticed an orange pony with a Stetson hat was trotting in his direction. He slowed down to a casual trot. “Howdy! Twilight said she might be sendin’ one a y’all over here. I’m Applejack. Let’s go meet the rest of the family.” Applejack introduced herself as Cap got close enough. “It’s a pleasure. I’m Captain Steven Rogers.” Steve responded. “Or Cap, Steve, or Rogers, if you’d like.” “I’ll probably stick with ‘Cap’”. Applejack responded as they quickly trotted to the barn, where the other Apples had congregated. “Hey y’all, this is Cap!” Applejack spoke loudly, Cap presumed it was so the eldest of the group could hear her. “He’s here t’ help in the orchard.” “Hello,” Cap stated with a slight bow of his head. “The big one is Big Mac,” Applejack said pointing toward a large red pony. Big Mac was just slightly shorter than Cap, but he was easily Cap’s build. “Eeyup.” Big Mac said as he nodded his head to Cap. “An’ the little one is Apple Bloom,” Applejack continued. “Howdy!” The small yellow pony shouted excitedly. She was tiny, at least in comparison to some of the other ponies Cap had seen. She wore a large pink bow in her mane that was roughly the size of her head. “An’ finally, that’s our Granny Smith!” Applejack finished, pointing to the elder green pony. She wore a shawl around her neck. Cap noticed that all the ponies had apple products on their flanks except the small one. Her flank was completely bare. He made a note to ask about that later. “Well, it is a pleasure to meet you all.” Cap responded “You’ll be helpin’ Big Mac pull carts, if y’ don’t mind.” Applejack stated, but we’ll worry about that after Apple Bloom gets off t’ school.” With that, Apple Bloom headed down the road Cap came in on as he followed the rest of the Apples into the barn. Thor and Bifrost: Part 1Thor arrived at the cloud that Twilight had directed him towards. Like Twilight had guessed, Rainbow Dash was still asleep. Thor waited about an hour before Rainbow Dash finally woke up. “Greetings Lady Dash!” Thor exclaimed as she exited her house. “Mornin’” Rainbow Dash said with a yawn. “Whatcha doin’ up here?” “Lady Sparkle hast informed me that I may be of assistance in the tasks thou will face today!” Thor answered. “Well, I guess you could help. Cloud busting is pretty easy, and we don’t need to bring the rainclouds until around two…” Rainbow Dash responded. “Easy enough tasks for the God of Thunder!” Thor shouted as his horn lit upand Mjolnir rose above his head. “Wha—” Rainbow Dash started to ask what he was doing as all of the clouds suddenly vanished from the sky. As Mjolnir lowered, Rainbow Dash finally looked at Thor’s cutiemark. She noticed that, amid the other parts, was a thunder cloud. “Done.” Thor stated, breaking Rainbow Dash out of her thoughts. “The clouds hath been slain and the rains shall fall at precisely two. What next requires the God of Thunder?” “Ummmmmmmm… I normally just kick them, but that works too. And that is pretty much everything…” Rainbow Dash said, now regretting the fact she woke up this morning. “And what do you mean ‘God of Thunder?’” “I control the elements and the storms. All the storms, either in my realm or this one, obey my command, for I am Thor, God of Thunder, Prince of Asgard!” Thor answered. “Riiiiiiiiight...” Rainbow Dash answered, realizing it probably not going to get any clearer. “What else is there to do in this place? If it is true that we have completed our required tasks, we should find another task that requires our skills!” Thor responded. “Well, I promised Scootaloo I would meet up with her after school but until then, I guess we could find something.” Rainbow Dash stated as she and Thor took to the sky. “Excellent! Let us go, Bifrost!” Thor yelled. “Bifrost?” Rainbow Dash asked to herself. Twilight Starkle: Part 1Before Twilight headed to Fluttershy’s cottage, she introduced Tony to Spike, her dragon assistant. She told Spike to make Tony feel at home and to help him bring his armor over, if he needed it. Tony decided to retrieve his armor, and invited Spike along, a decision he was now fully regretting. The little dragon talked more than Thor. Tony wasn’t really paying that much attention to the dragon’s tales, he continued to talk about his favorite foods and his adventures. “…and one time I rescued Rarity from these ‘Diamond Dogs’. They kidnapped her and forced her to locate jewels for them, but I came to her rescue. I would do—” Spike was cut off by Tony. “Listen, Spike, no offense, but I really have no idea what you are talking about. I only know you and Twilight.” Tony noticed Spike started to look sad. “But, if you want to tell me about the other ponies, being as thorough as possible about descriptions and personalities, that would be helpful, and with as much as you can talk, I have a feeling you are just the dragon to fill me in. Just could you wait until I get my armor?” At this, Spike immediately looked happier. He seemed to feel good about the fact that somepony found him useful. “Sure! Who should I start with?” Spike asked excitedly. “After we get my armor, let’s go alphabetically.” Tony responded. … Tony and Spike reached Tony’s room at the inn. His armor was standing in the corner. If spike hadn’t known that it was just armor, he would have probably mistaken it for another pony. “Watch this,” Tony said with a smirk. With that, his armor disassembled and started shooting across the room, and it re-assembled on Tony’s body. Spike saw as when the mask closed in place, the eyes and chest piece started glowing a bright light blue. Tony turned to look at Spike. “Cool, right?” “That was awesome!” Spike shouted. Tony’s facemask slid back to show his face, and Spike heard the whirring sounds of the armor every time Tony moved. Tony mentally made the armor start the recording of whatever Spike said. “Hey, how about you start telling me about your friends.” Tony suggested to Spike. “Right!” Spike remembered. “I’ll start with Applejack…” … In the walk from the inn back to Twilight’s, Tony learned a bit more than he thought he would. He learned about Spike’s closest friends, who all embodied a different Element of Harmony. They reminded Tony of the Infinity Gems. He also gained enough knowledge of each of Spike’s friends about their role in Ponyville. He also learned that Spike, the dragon, had quite a crush on Rarity, the unicorn. Tony thought this was odd, but he promised he would keep it a secret. Tony dis-armored in Twilight’s living room. It would be much easier to fix the armor if he wasn’t wearing it. JARVIS was still recording everything that was being said, of course. Tony liked having information. “Want some nachos?” Spike offered Tony. “Uhh… Sure.” Tony responded. “Awesome! I don’t like to brag, but I make the best nachos in all of Ponyville!” With that, Spike went off to the kitchen and Tony inspected his armor. He would need to modify the shoulders to allow him to actually aim his repulsors. He would need to add other stabilizing repulsors to counteract the power of his boot jets, and allow him to fly. This would most likely cause his armor to lose the ability to come to him, but it would be worth it. It was at that moment Tony remembered the biggest setback in his plans… his lack of thumbs. “Hey, Spike? Could you come in here?” Tony asked. Spike entered, now wearing a chef’s hat. “Yeah, what do you need.” Spike responded, clutching a spoon and a bowl, where he was presumably mixing his nacho dip. “Could you hold up your hands?” Tony asked. “Hands?” Spike looked puzzled. “The ends of your arms… Uhh… Your claws!” Tony said, finally thinking of the word. With that, Spike raised his claws, kind of puzzled. “They are perfect, you have thumbs! I will need your help later.” “Oh! Sure!” Spike said happily as he walked back to the kitchen. … Twilight returned after about a half hour. She entered her home to the smell of nachos and the sound of friendly chatter coming from Spike. “I see Spike decided to make you some nachos. He really does make the best nachos in Ponyville.” “So he said.” Tony responded, looking up from his partially disassembled armor. Twilight walked over to Tony and looked at the inner workings of his armor. It was the most intricate and complicated technology she had ever seen. She was so excited about the knowledge she could gain from talking with Tony. Tony noticed Twilight looking at his armor, and oddly enough, he didn’t mind. He would normally put it back together and hide it, but for some reason, he thought that if there was anyone who could be trusted, excluding Cap, it could be her. Based on the information Tony gained from Spike, Twilight was a bright young student who put the betterment of society. She kind of reminded him of himself, after he became Iron Man. Though he never would admit it to someone, he was pleased to see someone understand something faster than he did. “I’ll let you go first. Ask me almost anything and I will give you an answer. Though you don’t seem like you would ask, I’m not going to disclose any ways to make weapons.” Tony said looking up at Twilight, who had walked over to her couch. “I’ll make sure not to ask.” Twilight said with a smile as she grabbed a quill and a scroll. “I’ll wait until Spike gets done with the nachos before I begin.” Author's Note Equstria Girls is being ignored in this story. Hank and Fluttershy: Part 2Hank and Fluttershy had spent most of the morning on individual tasks, Fluttershy entrusted Hank with caring for the insects. Hank wondered why insects needed to be taken care of, seeing they are relatively independent on Earth. This would give him an excellent chance to study them and how they acted. As he moved through his assigned duties, he thought about his current partner. Fluttershy seemed, nice. She was a bit timid, which was a pretty drastic change from his normal company. Hank noticed that Fluttershy actually treated the animals like friends, much like people treated their pets, but she treated all the animals like that. He also noticed that she seemed to be able to effectively communicate with the animals. She would ask questions to the animals and listen to their chatter, then she would respond, which always seemed to make the animals happy. It couldn’t be just luck, she was right too often for it to be luck. He would ask her about this later. … Fluttershy didn’t really know what to think of Hank. He seemed to be excited about working with her and the animals. They didn’t really talk that much before getting to work. She wondered why he had such an interest, not that he couldn’t. Of course he could, she did. He just seemed to like animals in a different way than she did. As he was tending to the insects, she would watch him to see if she could figure any more out about him. He seemed to inspect the insects with fascination on his face. His look reminded Fluttershy of the look on Rainbow Dash’s face whenever the Wonderbolts were around. Fluttershy thought that she should ask him about his enthrallment with the insects, before deciding that it probably wasn’t her place to ask. If he wanted to open up, he would. Maybe he just didn’t like talking. She would speak with the bugs later to find out anything else. … Hank finished his chores around eleven, he probably could have been done faster if he hadn't spent so much time admiring the insects. As he neared Fluttershy’s cottage, he noticed her coming out of the her chicken coup with a basket of eggs. “Hey,” Hank called out as he got closer, “I finished with the insects.” “Did they give you any trouble? They can be a bit difficult with newer ponies.” Fluttershy responded. “No, no trouble at all. They seemed to be perfectly fine with me coming around. It was fascinating! Insects from where I’m from are a lot more cautious or territorial.” Hank said, without thinking. “Sorry. I get a bit excited around insects.” “It’s fine. They are wonderful.” Fluttershy responded. Before turning and locking the gate to her chicken coup. “Could I ask you a question?” Hank asked Fluttershy. “Sure.” Fluttershy responded. “What do you want to know?” “I watched you while you were feeding the animals…” Hank paused when he saw Fluttershy blush, he had forgotten that Twilight had warned him that Fluttershy was really timid. “Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. It’s just, you seemed to be talking to the animals. I thought that was really cool. My life’s work has been trying to communicate with insects and I still haven’t gotten up to the proficiency that you seemed to accomplish.” Hank finished, not entirely sure if he had made the situation better or worse. “Oh…” Fluttershy responded, timidly. She had never been comfortable with being watched or with receiving compliments. But they were new here, and Twilight had trusted her to show Hank and his friends the kindness she had become known for. It was her element after all. “Thanks… It just kinda comes naturally.” Fluttershy finished, still as red as ever. “Sorry again... but that is just amazing! I need my helmet to allow me to speak with insects… But you can do it naturally! That is… That’s just… WOW!” Hank exclaimed. He then, again, remembered how shy Fluttershy was. “Sorry… again. This’ll be the last time.” “It’s fine.” Fluttershy responded. “We really don’t have much else to do. I normally help others with their pets, but today is pretty calm. We can go help Pinkie Pie set up for the party tonight, and get lunch if you’d like?” “Sure, let’s go.” Hank said. He was hoping to be able to learn more about her ability to communicate with the animals, but decided he wouldn't push the issue. Janet and Rarity: Part 2Rarity and Janet started by taking care of a few smaller orders. They were not very elaborate or very complicated. Rarity assigned Janet to more of the same work, mostly accessorizing. Based on some of the patterns Janet saw lying around the boutique, she thought very highly of Rarity’s fashion sense. She saw a lot of talent, and the drive to make great clothing. She reminded Janet of herself, well, before she pretty much became a full time superhero. Janet had always wanted to open up her own fashion line, but never had the chance. She devoted herself to fighting crime ever since her father’s murder. Working with Rarity reminded her of her life before that had happened. Rarity had been great, and not that bothered when Janet had made mistakes, of which she made a lot, this was the first time she was accessorizing clothing without fingers. She helped Janet whenever she had asked for advice. Janet was used to designing costumes. While working with Rarity, she was able to design and work with actual clothing. Rarity had allowed her to follow her dream once more, even if it was just for a brief time until she went back with the other Avengers. Janet felt inspired by this pony to not give up on her dream. Janet noticed how Rarity seemed to be solely focused on each piece of clothing she was making. Rarity existed in a world with only herself and the piece of art she was creating. Jan would see her go in and out of this world every once in a while. It looked like it would be nice to be able to show that much devotion to what one loved. … Rarity was impressed by how well Janet had picked up the fashion that she was trying to push. She could tell that Janet was no stranger to design. She enjoyed Janet’s company in her boutique. They never seemed to get in each other’s way. Janet made a few mistakes, but she was learning a new style. She didn’t find it hard to be patient with Janet, like she often felt with those who didn’t understand fashion. Rarity noticed that while Janet worked, she seemed to be lost in her thoughts. She was miles away while she worked. Rarity could tell that Jan liked the work she did, but it seemed like it was more than just a hobby. She looked to be taken to a better place, a better time. Rarity noticed a tear roll down Janet’s face. Rarity almost went over to her, be she noticed the smile that was also present. At the sight, Rarity couldn’t help but smile as she wiped her eyes and returned to work. … Around lunch time they stopped for a break. Rarity had brought some food in for the both of them. She brought in two hay and daffodil salads. “I hope you like salads, I haven’t restocked since my sister was here last.” Rarity said with a smile. “Oh, thank you!” Janet responded. She was a bit surprised at the food presented. Janet was still not used to being a pony, but she was grateful for something to eat. About halfway through the meal, Rarity’s curiosity got the better of her. “I don’t mean to pry, but while we were working…” Rarity’s voice trailed off, as she saw Janet crack a small smile, as if Janet knew what she was referring to. “Oh, saw that did you?” Janet responded in a joking manner. “If you don’t wish to talk about it, I understand.” “It’s ok, just a bit depressing.” Janet paused, upon Rarity’s nod, she continued. “I always wanted to be a fashion designer, but my father was murdered. That is where I met Hank, he gave me super powers and we went off to become Avengers, and that is what I have been doing ever since. Well, it is a bit more complicated than that, but working with you today made me think of my father and when I still dabbled in design.” “Oh, I’m sorry.” Rarity said, not knowing what to say. “No, I’m sorry for dumping it on you like that. We basically just met and I just go and tell you about it and—” Janet started before Rarity held up her hoof with an understanding smile on her face. “Thank you for trusting me enough to already share your story with me.” Rarity said as she gave Janet a hug. “Thanks…” Janet felt a bit more relieved. “I didn’t want you to think I was weird or anything…” “The weirdest part was the super powers.” Rarity chuckled, almost as if it was all too familiar. “That is a little hard to comprehend.” Upon Rarity releasing Janet, Janet responded, “I can show you what I do…” Rarity nodded and Janet willed herself to shrink to a fraction of her normal size. Her wings were now proportional to her body and she was hovering at Rarity’s eye level. “They call me the Wasp where I’m from, due to my size and a stinger ability that I have.” “That is… I don’t have the words to explain…” Rarity stood in shock. “Yeah… I didn’t believe it at first either. Hank figured out how to do this.” Janet responded. Rarity and Janet continued to speak for several minutes before they finally returned to the work they had to complete that day. “We need to deliver the completed outfits to their new owners.” Rarity explained. “Well, let’s get going.” Janet responded, and the two left to deliver the clothes. Pinkie Pie and Bruce: Part 2: That's My Secret, I'm Always SmilingWhile the Cakes went off to wake their children, Pinkie Pie started to pack items into two pairs of saddlebags. Bruce even saw her pack away things that could, in no way fit into them. She “filled” the bags and effortlessly brought one to Bruce. When he went to lift it, he found it much heavier than it had appeared. As it rested upon his back, he briefly wished to be the Hulk. But shook off the thought as soon as the risks had entered his mind. He had come to be able to control many of the Hulk’s actions and emotions, unless something really made him angry, then all bets were off. Instead of a bomb, Bruce thought of the Hulk as more of a cannon now, point him at a mutually hated target and watch as it is reduced to rubble. That being said, he hadn’t been able to turn into the Hulk here, so maybe all of his control is gone, or maybe the Hulk is gone. He would have to check with Tony to see if there was a way to counteract his irradiated blood in this dimension. “C’mon slowpoke! If you stand around thinking all day this party will never get set up.” Pinkie Pie called back to Bruce, breaking him out of his thoughts. “Sorry, I was just thinkin…” Bruce started. “About another personality that is difficult to control and the possibility you may have finally found a cure?” Pinkie interrupted. “How did…” Bruce’s eyes were wide with confusion and his mouth hung open. “Pinkie Sense?” Pinkie offered as an answer before seemingly appearing before Bruce and closing his mouth with her hoof. With that, Bruce got a feeling he met someone like this before, all he could remember was he was mostly red and could seemingly disobey the laws of the universe… and that he made the Hulk angry. Very, very angry. And for the first time since his arrival, he felt the Hulk’s presence from inside his mind, it was faint, but surely there. Bruce shook off the feeling as he trotted to catch up with Pinkie Pie who had somehow covered roughly twenty to thirty meters in a fraction of a second with a slow trot. As they continued toward City Hall, Bruce remembered that he hadn’t properly introduced himself to his partner yet. “We never actually introduced ourselves, I am Dr. Bruce Banner.” “I know silly! The Cakes used your name! But I am Pinkie Pie! We’re going to be great friends, I can tell! We even have kinda-not really matching cutiemarks!” Pinkie Pie said as she motioned towards her cutiemark. Bruce looked at her cutiemark and saw that it was almost exactly like his, except for the fact the balloons were inflated. “Can you explain cutiemarks to me? I really don’t understand their significance.” Bruce asked. “Well, they show what each pony’s very special talent is. Mine is balloons because I am the bestest party pony around! It also is the Element of Laughter. Seeing how yours is the opposite, you are either the worstest party pony, or you are the opposite of laughter. Since you are helping me plan this party, we can see if it is due to your party planning skills!” Pinkie answered. Bruce was shocked at how much the answer made sense. It wasn’t cryptic or jumbled like he was assuming it would be. “I think I know which one it is…” Bruce said under his breath as the Hulk flashed across his mind. Hulk’s presence grew stronger. “What was that?” Pinkie Pie questioned, not quite hearing Bruce. “Oh, it was nothing.” Bruce was afraid of the Hulk getting out and messing up this quaint town. They had been so welcoming and Bruce didn’t want to repay them by smashing. It wasn’t long before they arrived at City Hall. “Here it is!” Pinkie announced, “We’ll unload our bags then go and get some more. The cake and other snacks won’t be ready until later, but that will give us time to go out and get some of the stuff I ran out of. Then we’ll decorate when the rain hits!” “Alright, sounds like a plan.” Bruce responded as they set off toward Sugarcube Corner. … Precisely at two o’clock, the rain hit. Pinkie Pie and Bruce had been joined by Fluttershy and Hank. After the four introduced themselves to the other pony they were not familiar with, they worked to set up the party. By this time the Cakes had dropped off the cakes, snacks and punch. Granny Smith had stopped by earlier to tell Pinkie that Big Mac would bring some apples by later in the day, after all the work on the farm had been done. Fluttershy was put in charge of the ceiling decorations, Bruce and Hank helped set up tables, chairs, and other things that their lack of decorating skills couldn’t ruin. Pinkie Pie set up pretty much everything else. Hank and Bruce noticed that she was really, really, efficient at party set up. It was almost as if she was in multiple places at once, doing all of the tasks simultaneously. … Around four in the afternoon, the party was completely ready, and they all went back to Sugarcube Corner for dinner. Capplejack: Part 2Cap and the Apple family, minus Apple Bloom who was at school, had been working all day picking apples and hauling them back to the barn. Cap hadn’t minded the work, it gave him time to both think and get to know more about the Apple family, this place, which Cap now knew was called Equestria, and the ways things functioned here. Cap started the day with Applejack. They went around knocking the ripe apples off the trees. Cap and Applejack had talked about a great many things. Cap thought he was a decent judge of character, and saw that he could probably trust Applejack, so he told her the truth, that they were from a different dimension. He had no idea how, he normally left that to Bruce, Tony, Hank, and Thor. Applejack shrugged, seemingly not knowing herself. “That’s Twilight’s thing. She’s the smart one. She’ll probably figure somethin’ out.” “Let’s hope so, trouble seems to follow us, I would hate to bring it here…” Cap responded, not knowing if Kang had entered the portal as well. “We get into our own share of trouble.” Applejack laughed. “Actually, that’s why we’re the Elements of Harmony.” “Elements of Harmony?” Cap asked, immediately thinking of the Infinity Gauntlet. “Well, I’m the element of honesty, Fluttershy’s kindness, Dashy’s loyalty, Pinkie’s laughter, Rarity’s generosity, and Twilight’s magic. We try ta help keep Equestria safe from stuff that would harm it. We actually got the Elements when trying ta save the Princess.” Applejack stopped upon seeing a giant smirk on Cap’s face. “What? Ya’ll don’t believe me?” “It’s not that, based on stuff I’ve seen already, I would be a fool not to believe you. It’s about the part where you mentioned that Twilight is the element of magic. I find it pretty funny that she’s working with Tony today because he refuses to believe in magic. So that should be interesting.” Cap said, still with a smirk on his face. “I believe your story, I just find that coincidence great.” “Wait, there’s ponies who don’t believe in magic? There are unicorns everywhere…” Applejack responded. “Not in my dimension. There are actually very few that can use magic.” Cap answered. “Well, then that should be a great story someday.” Applejack responded, now smirking as well. … After lunch, Cap was working with Big Mac to haul all the apples to the barn, while Applejack and Granny Smith went to town to pick up some things for the farm. Cap found that Big Mac didn’t say much. Mostly it was just “Eeyup” or “Nope”. Sometimes he would say a sentence or two, but then it was back to work. Cap also noticed that, even though Big Mac was just a normal, not genetically altered pony, he was just about as physically fit as Cap was. Cap admired this pony. He knew when to work, and when to talk. He was obviously a very hard working pony. He also, though quiet, wasn’t rude. Cap wished there were more like the Apple family. They reminded him of his time before the ice, back when the world was simple and everybody acted like a friend to everybody. Cap and Big Mac got all the apples to the barn before it rained. The then sorted them into piles, upon Granny Smith’s dictation. She decided which apple went in which pile. Applejack was back at this time as well and was assisting. She explained that Cider Season was happening soon, and they wanted to be ready. One pile was for the cider, one was for the party tonight. “I am assuming the ponies here like apples?” Cap said as he eyed the pile, that he was sure not even Thor and Hulk could eat after one of their giant brawls. “We have the best apples in all of Equestria! Ever since the Apples started this orchard…” Granny Smith started, what promised to be a long story. “Short answer, yeah, they do.” Applejack whispered, as she took over dictating the apples into piles. … At the end of the story which was about six in the afternoon, Cap, Big Mac, and Applejack loaded up the party apples into carts and took them to City Hall for the party that night. Thor and Rainbow Bridge?: Part 2For most of the day, Rainbow Dash showed Thor around Equestria, via flight tour, of course. She showed Thor where everything was, and would stop sometimes to introduce Thor to ponies whom Rainbow Dash thought were important or cool. Rainbow Dash also noticed that Thor was not flying with his wings, but he seemed to be pulled by his hammer. “Uuuuuuumm, what are you doing?” Rainbow Dash asked. “What art thou referring to, Lady Dash?” Thor responded, puzzled. “You’re not using your wings? That’s not how you fly. Have you ever actually flown before?” Rainbow Dash pointed out. “Aye! I have flown into battle on many occasions, pulled by Mjolnir an-” Thor was cut off by Rainbow Dash. “Stop. I’m gonna teach you to fly correctly.” Rainbow Dash landed. Thor followed, more of a drop than a landing. “That’s what I’m talking about! You call that a landing? You just fell!” “I see not the problem…” Thor responded confused. “Ok, let’s start from the beginning…” Rainbow Dash said as she shook her head disappointedly. … By the time it rained, Thor was actually using his wings to fly. Thor liked this because he could now use Mjolnir as a weapon and still remain airborne. They didn’t have to take cover from the rain, because they flew over the clouds or Thor protected them. They practiced flying for the rest of the day, or at least until school let out, at which point they went to go meet the Cutiemark Crusaders. … Thor and Rainbow Dash arrived about fifteen minutes after school let out. “Ah man…” Rainbow Dash said, as they got closer to the school. “What troubles thee?” Thor asked. “Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Apple Bloom are getting bullied again. I thought we dealt with this.” Rainbow Dash said as she sped up her pace. “Which ones are the bullies?” Thor said, in a tone that made Rainbow Dash nervous. “Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, the violet one and the gray on-”. At that point, Thor was already on the ground, standing between the Cutiemark Crusaders and their bullies. “Wow… he’s fast…” … “What seems to be the problem here?” Thor asked the two bullies. He was standing at his full height, puffing out his chest and spreading his wings, making himself look significantly bigger than he already was. “Nothing that concerns you.” Diamond Tiara said, oddly snotty despite being only up to half way between Thor’s knees and shoulders on his front legs. “Oh, that is where you’d be wrong.” Thor started as the sky became black with clouds. “I am Thor, God of Thunder. I hear you are treating others as they are below thee. I say to thee, if it happens again, I shall show thee how low you really are. I shall show thee what it truly means to anger a god!” With that a giant bolt of lightning struck Thor’s horn. At this point, it was about as dark as night, and Thor’s now charged body was the only light in the area. His eyes became a light blue and streaks of electricity surged from his horn, Mjolnir, his eyes, his wing tips, and up and down his body. He raised his hoof and stomped the ground causing a small localized earthquake, not large enough to damage anything, but noticeable enough to prove his point. “Doth I make mineself clear?” Silver Spoon answered first, “Ye—yes sir…”. Thor turned towards Diamond Tiara, “And thou?” Thor thundered. She merely nodded, as she couldn’t muster even a single word to respond. “Glorious!” Thor said cheerfully as the lightning and the clouds disappeared instantly. “Now, I believe you owe these young ponies an apology.” “S-sorry.” Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon said simultaneously. “Now run along, and I expect no more trouble from thee.” Thor said, more as an order than a suggestion. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon didn’t wait to be told twice, before running home immediately, along with all the other ponies that been present at the school yard. Rainbow Dash landed behind the Cutiemark Crusaders. “Uhhhhh… What was that?” She asked wide-eyed. “I hate those who use their power just to oppress others, like many have tried to do to mine second home of Midgard. That is why I joined the Avengers.” Thor responded as he turned to face the CMCs and Rainbow Dash. “You three are under my protection now. I have heard of thee from Lady Dash, and would like to help thee in any way I can. I am Thor, God of Thunder, Prince of Asgard; and I wish to become thine friend.” “He gets better after you get to know him.” Rainbow Dash told the CMCs. The CMC’s just stared in amazement of Thor’s spectacle. They hadn’t seen anybody but Celestia, Luna, Discord, or Twilight with that amount of power. “Introduce yourselves!” Rainbow Dash whispered to the CMCs. “Oh… Oh sorry.” Apple Bloom started first, “I’m Apple Bloom.” “It is a pleasure to meet thee Apple Bloom.” “I’m Scootaloo.” “I am honored to make thine acquaintance.” “My name’s Sweetie Belle! And together we make the Cutiemark Crusaders!” “Crusaders? I believe I can help you in thine crusade. We shall march forth and let songs and tales tell about our glorious deeds!” Thor responded. “Where to first?” “Well, we don’t really know…” Scootaloo responded. “Yeah! We tried all that we could think of doin’” Apple Bloom added. “But we still haven’t gotten our cutiemarks…” Sweetie Belle chimed in, sounding on the verge of tears. “Ahh, don’t worry. We’ll think of something. Let’s go for a walk while we think!” Rainbow Dash suggested. “Can we go to the waterfall below Canterlot?” Scootaloo asked. “Sure, as long as you guys can make the trip, because I don’t plan on carrying you!” Rainbow Dash chuckled. “Awesome!” The Cutiemark Crusaders cheered in unison. … The trip to the falls was uneventful, minus the fact that all three of the Cutiemark Crusaders were now riding on Thor’s back. Thor and Rainbow Dash had talked a great deal on the way to the falls, mostly about the way Thor handled the bullies. “Ya shouldn’t go around scaring little ponies like that.” Rainbow Dash stated. “I care not for bullies. I know many who would use their power just to hurt others. My brother, my father, many other beings in the nine realms would all try to use their power to harm others. I cannot stand for it. I know many creatures who cannot or will not stand for themselves. The Avengers was formed originally to fight my brother, who tried to use his powers to get Bruce to hurt others. I fight because if I do not, I cannot be certain others will. But I do apologize for causing any trouble.” Thor responded, in a tone that surprised Rainbow Dash with its seriousness. “Oh, I didn’t know that it was that big of a deal to you.” Rainbow Dash responded. “Aye.” Thor said as they arrived at the waterfall. “Arise Crusaders! Tis time to try for thine cutiemarks!” As the CMCs started to wake up, they all heard a voice coming from nearby. “Well, looks as if I know how to get back at the ‘perfect’ Twilight Sparkle!” The Crossing“Welcome back,” Cap said as Tony rejoined the group. “Yup.” Tony said sarcastically as he raised his faceplate. The rest of the Avengers were assembled at the base of a small hill not far from where they awoke. “Thor, Wasp. I want you two to fly up and do recon. Wasp, find us a town, a city, even another form of intelligent life. Thor, try to find a portal back to our world.” As Cap finished, Wasp shrunk and flew off and Thor took to the skies, allowing Mjolnir to lead in detection of any sort of energy. Cap turned back toward Tony, Hank and Bruce. “You three are some of the smartest people I know. I want answers and solutions if Thor doesn’t find anything.” “Roger, Rogers.” Hank said with a smirk. Cap was certain he was still too excited about this. “I may have something, but we’re going to have to wait until night before I can be certain.” Tony stated. “Alright.” Cap said with a minor amount of confusion in his voice. He then turned to Banner. “How are you holding up?” “I can’t turn into the Hulk at will at the moment. It is like something is stopping me from releasing my anger at the moment.” Banner responded as he shrugged his shoulders. “Alright. Might be best not to push it at the moment.” Cap Replied. “My thoughts exactly. Though I don’t like having to gamble if we come under attack.” Tony added in. “ Me neither.” Cap said as he turned his head up toward the sky just in time to see Thor returning. “You find anything?” Cap shouted to Thor. “Nay, Th…” Thor cut himself off as a smile crept across his face. “Nay; dost thou get it, because we art horses and horses sayeth ‘neigh’?” Thor finished as he let out a boisterous laugh. “Yeah, we got it, but it was such a bad pun that you should feel bad…” Hank said, slightly pained. “Well, I hath enjoyed it, but alas, I have not found any such portal. The energies in the air are too common for any definitive area to be found.” Thor stated rather somberly. “I see, let’s just wait for Wasp to get back before we decide how to progress further. … Fifteen to twenty minutes later, Wasp returned. “Hey guys! We’re not that far from a small town. We just need to head south!” Janet exclaimed. “Excellent. Let’s start to head in that direction. The sun should be setting soon, we may be able to find a place to stay tonight, then we can figure this out once we get more information. But let’s stay together and keep our powers hidden as much as possible. We don’t want to scare the locals.” Cap cautioned. And after finishing his orders, the Avengers followed Cap to the south. Pinkie Pie and Bruce: Part 1At Sugarcube Corner, Bruce cautiously knocked on the door. He was greeted by two ponies, one amber and one a light blue. Their flanks showed pictures of sweets. “Hello, can we help you?” the amber pony asked. “Yeah, I’m Bruce, I was told by Twilight that I should help out here…” Bruce answered. “Oh, yeah, at the party last night Twilight said we may get someone to help out here.” The light blue pony chimed in. “Come in.” As Bruce entered, the light blue pony continued. “We’re the Cakes. The shop isn’t open yet, but Pinkie Pie will be down in a bit to help get ready to open. We also ask that you keep relatively quiet. Our children are still asleep.” “Alright, will do. I assume that this is a bakery?” Bruce asked quietly, at the Cakes’ nod, he continued, “I really don’t have any baking experience.” “Oh don’t worry” Mr. Cake began, “You’ll be helping Pinkie get ready for a celebration.” With that Pinkie Pie came, somehow silently, bounding down the stairs. “Good Morning!” She whispered in the most excited voice Bruce had ever heard. “Pinkie? Would you help Bruce get acquainted, while we go get ready to wake the children?” Mrs. Cake asked. “Sure!” Pinkie Pie said as she turned from the Cakes to Bruce. “I hope you’re a strong one, because we have a lot to carry!” “I think I can manage.” Bruce said, instantly thinking about his other self. Come to think of it, he hadn’t been even slightly upset since arriving in this dimension. “Excellent! Because we need to move everything inside City Hall before Rainbow Dash brings the rainclouds at two. Then we can start setting up after the rain passes!” Pinkie explained, as she started loading two saddlebags. “You guys sure do have a lot of parties don’t you. Well, I only witnessed two, but that’s one per night.” Bruce responded. “Yeah! Why wouldn’t we? It allows all of us ponies to get together and be happy!” Pinkie answered as she led Bruce out the door. Captain America and Applejack PSA"On this Independence Day, I want you to celebrate America's freedom." Captain America said too seemingly no one. "Yeah, but take it easy. Cider is good, but can be pretty addictive." Applejack added. "Today is about celebrating independence, but like my friend Applejack said, please don't take it overboard." Cap smiled. "And even if I don't know why the 4th of July is special, have a happy and safe 4th of July from all of Equestria!" Applejack shouted. "And From the Avengers! Happy Independence Day!" Cap exclaimed. Applejack and Captain America both waved at the camera that Pinkie Pie and Deadpool (?) had, in order to film the two for the 4th of July. The video slowly faded out until only Deadpool and Pinkie Pie were visible. "Like they said, have a great Independence Day!" Deadpool shouted, "Even though I'm Canadian..." "Well, we're from Equestria..." Pinkie Pie informed Deadpool. "Right! That's why we're friends. You're so smart!" Deadpool said as he hugged Pinkie Pie. "Yeah, but this is getting slightly off tangent, so we should end this PSA soon." Pinkie Pie smiled and turned towards all of you readers. "Happy 4th of July!" Pinkie Pie and Deadpool wished upon you all.
A Day Unlike Any OtherSteve woke up, disoriented, but he seemed mostly unhurt. “Welcome back to the land of the living, Rogers!” Steve heard Thor quip, in his normal, voice, as if they all didn’t just get blasted by one of Kang’s ships.
“Excellent, then let us get to work.”
Applejack and Steve: Part 1Cap was pleased to see that the four ponies he was told to meet were all already awake.
“Well, looks as if I know how to get back at the ‘perfect’ Twilight Sparkle!”
The Crossing“Welcome back,” Cap said as Tony rejoined the group.
