My little Persona The Chosen hour

I woke up to the sound of a crowd outside. I stepped off my bed (nearly tripping over something in the process.)  I looked down to see a gem that looked exactly like my cutie mark (me:Why do they call it that?) I picked it up, my vision turned white as soon as I touched it. "Go to the library of Canterlot."

I heard a voice say in my head. My vision cleared up and I ran outside, only to see a crowd outside of my house. They were gathered around my home. "What's going on here?" I asked.

A guard that was in front of the crowd turned around. "Do you live here?" He asked.

"Yeah I do... temporarily." I answered. The guard looked up.

"Are you aware of a dead body on your roof?" The guard asked.

"A what?" I asked as I looked up, at first I didn't see anything but then I saw it. Bonbon was on my chimney dangling off a cord... by her neck as if some sadistic decoration.

"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE!!!!!!! I yelled out at the top of my lungs. I flew down at a speed that would've made Rainbow Dash jealous. I landed on my hooves with dirt and mud landing around them.

"I'm sorry sir but-" I interrupted the guard.

"No! NO!!! YOU AND THE ROYAL GUARD'S JOBS ARE TO PROTECT AND SERVE!!!!!!!!" I motioned my hoof to where my friend's dead body was. "DOES THIS LOOK LIKE PROTECTING AND SERVING?! Huh!!!" I yelled angrily at the guard.

"Is everything alright?" Lyra's voice came from the crowd. Remembering that her best friend was dangling from my roof I ran towards her forgetting the guard.

I tried getting her away from the building but it was all to no avail as she saw Bonbon's body. The unicorn's jaw dropped when she saw her friend's body. Her head turned to me, as I saw her golden eyes they were filled with nothing but sadness and malice. There were tears dripping down her face. "How could you have done this?" She asked,her eyes glaring daggers at me.

"What do you mean?" I asked her. She turned tail and ran towards the guards. "Lyra wait!" I called out to her. The green unicorn only ignored me and continued to follow the guards. "Lyra... I'm sorry." I said quietly before I opened my wings and flew to Canterlot.
