Chapter 1 Hi,Im ace,Ace Lightning Before i moved into ponyville i lived in Canterlot It was quite the place to stay at. When i moved to Canterlot i was just a filly, my mom and dad where making so many new friends, though our neighbors had a daughter at the same age as mine, her name was: Twilight Sparkle. She and i where the best of friends she and i never had any fights or any arguments, the only difference in between her and i is that i'm and Earth Pony and she is a Unicorn. She spent her free time studying magic i spent MY free time living up to my name Ace!(in other words quick). I was allways challenging her to a running contest,but she was to busy to do so,one day she was accepted to go to this school for unicorns, i couldnt be happier, anyway she was having some trouble trying to do magic but i was there to cheer for her,she kind of....screwed up....BUT she did get to be in the school thanks to Princess Celestia,she took twilight under her wing and she was so happy she got her cutie mark,but this story can only get worse, one day, when i was older,i wen't to her house to see if she wanted to play, but she was nowhere to be found, though she left a note saying *out getting new friends dont worry be back soon* i was confused by the term *getting new friends*,but none the less i waited for her,i spent all these years trying to get better at running, suddenly a paper appeard saying *Equestrian Race* witch was a race for everypony to compete in, i told my parents to sign me up for this race,and they did, the next day i was in the race getting ready, but i wasnt really prepared seeing that twi wasnt there to support me, the referi was telling us to get ready i was very nervous, but i thought to myself, twilight couldve been here cheering for me,and so,i decided to man up and chase my dreams,as the referi yelled go i ran for my life,i was getting tired quickly but that didn't stop me!,i kept running past all the other racers, i couldnt feel my hooves,i felt like the wind was helping me trying to go first,right before i knew it, i got first place, the prize was moving from canterlot to ponyville , i felt sad because i had to wait for twi, but i faced myself and accepted the trip,it was a whole new expirience for me going to ponyville. Chapter 2 Ace trotters around the room full of depression and stops for a second to look at the mirror. ''It's OK twi...I'll come back'' Said the stallion with a disoriented voice. When ace walked out of twilights room he was stopped by twilights parents, ''Ace..'' Said twilights mother as she was trying to hold back tears, but appereantly couldn't . ''Ace'' Said twilights father interrupting his wife. ''We know you were the only one who understood twilight and...if you see her anywhere out there please tell her we still love her and miss her, would you do that for us Ace?'' Ace smiles and nodds making twilights parents as happy as they could be. When he is about to enter the train the judge stops him and gives him 20000 bits and says;''Use it wisely'', Ace enters the train and then see's twilights parents waving goodbye at him from the outside of the train, Ace waves back in goodbye and right before he knew it the train was allready going, out of knowhere a mare sits next to ace. ''Excuse me is this seat taken?'' Asked the curious mare. ''No not at all i'm here all by myself.'' He said in a nervous accent. ''Oh ok then do you mind if i sit here then?'' ''No i don't mind at all'' For the next couple of hours the mare runs out of patience and screams. ''Ugh! When will we arrive i'm very hungry and very bored!!!'' Ace takes a step away from the mare in shock and fear. ''This is absolute Ludicrous how can i be sitting here for 3 hours with nothing to do but sit here and wait, isn't there anything to do in this train???'' Ace gains courage and shuts the mares mouth. ''Shh don't you see how many people are looking, Stop complaining!'' As the mare looks around the train there are multiple pony's looking at her with mostly fear and others with a confused face, the mare stops and blushes. ''I am very sorry for my outburst i just hadn't had my lunch in a while'' The mare smiles in embarressment. Ace pulls out his bag and takes out an apple he recently got. ''Here take my apple you can have it, i mean, you ARE hungry right?'' The mare takes the apple and eats it in joy. ''Mmm...This apple is so good, where did you get it?'' ''Well..I really don't know..my parents gave it to me'' ''Oh well where are they now?'' ''...'' Ace looks away from the mare and stares at the clouds ''I'm so sorry, my names is Fleur De Lis but you can call me Fleur.'' ''Nice to meet you fleur, My names Ace, Ace Lightning'' ''Nice to meet you to Ace, i'm very sorry about your parents.'' ''It's ok Fleur, i know you didnt't mean to talk about them'' Conductor:Excuse me all passengers prepare to get off the train, we will arrive in 3 minutes. ''Well i guess this is it, i'll se you later Fleur it was nice talking to you'' In 3 Minutes the stallion gets off the train says and says goodbye to Fleur. Chapter 3 As Ace gets off the train he stops to check his bag for a second. ‘’Hmm… everything seems to be in order, I still have the 20000 bits here’’ As he checks his bag a strange stallion gets in his way and bumps into him making his bits fall of his hooves. ‘’Ahh! No my bits!’’ Ace runs as fast as he could and grabbed half the money he had dropped; most of his bits were either lost or stolen. Ace then checks how much bits he has left; ‘’9998, 9999, 10000? Aw great this is just Great... cool it Ace just go to the mayor of this small town and nicely ask for a house to live in’’ Ace then continues to search for town hall and luckily he runs into someone. *Bonk* ‘’Owe, My head it hurts! Watch were you’re going buddy!’’ As Ace open’s his eyes looks up and see a strange pink pony hurt. ‘’Oh my Celestia are you okay?’’ ‘’Umm YEAH!*Giggles*I’m fine are you ok I’m more concerned about you so how’s your head’’ ‘’I’m fine, it hurts but...I’ll make it’’ The both then starts to laugh for a couple of minutes then the pony decides to introduce herself. ‘’Hi, My names Pinkie Pie! What’s yours?’’ ‘’Hi Pinkie Pie, I’m Ace’’ Pinkie Pie then gasps and realizes who this strange stallion is, ‘’Oh my goodness! I know who you are!’’ Then Ace looks at Pinkie with a confused face. ‘’You do?’’ The stallion asked ‘’Yeah you’re a new guy so that means you’re probably looking somewhere to buy a house right?’’ ‘’Yeah! Do you know where I can buy one?’’ ‘’Yeah just go down this street and you’ll see a big building’’ Ace looks down the path a sees a big building and then asks. ‘’How did I not notice that?’’ ‘’Dunno maybe you were so confused you didn’t even notice it’’ Ace then smiles and replies with an embarrassed nod. ‘’Well see ya later Ace’’ The little pony then continuously skips happily to what appears to be a bakery shop. Ace then continues with his business and went to city hall. Then enters and sees a pony seems to be a mare talking to other ponies. ‘’Maybe she will help me with my house problem?’’ As Ace walks up to the mare she seems to be done talking with the other ponies then Ace gets the opportunity to talk to her. But then a strange stallion runs in front of him asking for the same thing Ace wants. ‘’Hey! What’s the big idea cutting in front of me like that?’’ ‘’Well excuse me sir but those cute mares over there were saving spot here harrumph’’ Ace goes over to one of the mares and asks if they were saving the stallions spot, but apparently they weren’t. Ace then realizes what happened he looks back and sees that the stallion was already gone and then he walks up to the mare and asks her for a house. ‘’Excuse me miss is there by any chance I can get a house here?’’ ‘’Why yes I have five houses here in this map if you want choose a house and then come back’’ ‘’Ok I’ll come back in a second’’ Ace looks at the map and sees five houses marked, since he was fast enough to reach them he decided only in a mere minute. ‘’Hello I’m back’’ ‘’Why hello to you again, that was really quick did you already know which house you want to pick?’’ ‘’Yes, I do’’ Ace then proceeds to show the mare the map at the exact location on where the house he wants is located. ‘’Is that so…well then the mayor will see you now she’s just right through here’’ ‘’Thank you’’ The room was pretty big but really tidy at the same time; ace looked around and saw a pony with a curly mane just like pinkies. ‘’Hello, My names Mayor Mare and I presume you’re here for a house, is that correct?’’ ‘’Yes please!’’ ‘’Well the cost for a house is normally 10000 bits’’ Ace cringes in shock when his heart almost explodes. ‘’But we’ve been having some troubles so I’ll cut the payment down to 3000’’ *Whew that’ll leave me with 7000 bits, enough for lunch and probably a bed to sleep in* ‘’Ok here’’ Ace hands over 3000 bits and counted to the mayor. ‘’Thank you for your cooperation sir I hope we meet again’’ ‘’Thank you’’ Then Ace runs ‘’home’’ to finally move in. ‘’Ah, well I got a new house and a new life’’ ‘’This is going to be the best! Right Twili…’’ Twilight recently left Ace to who knows where and after that all these years Ace was heartbroken. As Ace remembers all the fun things he had done with twilight back then, he felt lost and heavy twilight was dear to him and he couldn’t do anything to bring her back, but that didn’t stop him he knew that if twilight wasn’t there he could believe in himself and do whatever’s possible to live without her. He then falls asleep on his saddlebags that carried tons of his things; mostly heavy and hard stuff. The next morning came up and Ace woke up with a pain in his neck. ‘’Owe! My neck ugh… that’s what I get for sleeping on my saddlebags, so what are you going to do today Ace? I know I should probably go do some work to gain extra bits I should probably go back to town hall and check if they have any job applications’’ With Ace’s neck hurting he went in the bathroom to take a nice shower and try to fix his neck, he then proceeded to town hall and ran by Pinkie again. ‘’HI ACE!!!’’ Screamed Pinkie at the top of her lungs making Ace scared and frightened. ‘’Ahhh! Pinkie you scared me!’’ ‘’Heheh sorry, where are you going?’’ ‘’To town hall why?’’ ‘’Oh, no reason’’ Then she skipped away leaving Ace shaking in fear and with a confused face. ‘’That’s weird yesterday she was so nice and calm, why would she just scream so loud at me like that? Well I guess I should just go to town hall’’ To be Continued…
