Chapter 1: S**t hits the fan
The coffee table had been littered with old chip bags and empty soda cans. The entire dorm looked as if it had not been cleaned in god knows how long. Two young men sat on a dusty old couch, that looked as if it would break any second, playing a game that looked as if the entire game was cut out of cardboard. One of the young men had a haircut that covered his left eye and sported red highlights, his name was Ray. The other young man had shaggy black hair, facial hair that only covered his chin, thick rimmed glasses, and earrings that were the circumferences of a thumb, his name was Ryland. Both of them had not left their dorm since the release of this "game" and have missed class for a couple days.
"Jesus finger fucking Christ! I'm about to throw this fucking game across the damn room!" Ryland shouted angrily as his character had died from a giant Nazi-Zombie fetus.
"Dude, we've beaten this game like 5 times already. I'm starting to get bored" Ray says. He gets up and ejects the disc from the system, getting another game from their massive game collection. "What game do you wanna play?" he asked Ryland.
"What do we have again? I lost track after a while" Ryland replied.
"That game with the zombies?"
"No"
"The guy with the electric powers?"
"No"
"First Person Shooter?
"Fuck No"
"That game with the living glove?"
"We still have that?! Anyway, No"
"Then what game?! We Have Hundreds!"
"I don't know, fucking pick something"
Ray grabbed the first game he saw, a cartoonish racing game. He placed it in the console and started the game up, the chime of a familiar system starting up filled the room, making the two sigh in happiness.
"Something just popped into my head; when are you going to finish that 'wicked awesome' story you were writing?" Ray asked Ryland, putting air quotes around 'wicked awesome'.
"Which one? I have a bunch I never finished"
"I think it was the one where that guy has to save this magical land from some guy in a hood. I thought you said you would update it every other week but you haven't touched that story in months"
"Oh, that one. Yeah, I just decided to leave that one alone until I decide to get creative again"
"When in the blue hell were you creative?"
"Shut up"
During the battle race the two were having, a message popped up on the screen from a user named 'SunGoddess'. The subject read "I request your assistance"
"Uh, Ryland. Do you know anyone with that really stupid name?" Ray asked
"Not sure, I don't really keep track of my 'friends' on here anymore after what happened a few months ago. Thanks to you.
"I said I was sorry. I didn't realize that many girl gamers were desperate for a man"
"I still get messages from that one who sent me....UGH....pictures" Ryland nearly puked at the thought of the girl's pictures.
"Just read the message and find out what they want. I want to get back to kicking your ass again" Ray bragged
"Yeah yeah, whatever"
the message said: "Dear RokunHavik, I am Princess Celestia. I am in dire need of assistance, for King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis have planned to launch an attack on Equestria. I ask for you and your friend for assistance" the words 'ACCEPT' and 'REJECT' popped up on the bottom of the message.
"What the hell is Equestria?" Ryland asked.
"How would I know? It sounds like it belongs in those stupid JRPG's you play"
"Wanna help just for the fuck of it?"
"Yeah, why not? I'm bored anyway"
With that said, Ryland hit accept. Although the system didn't open up a game. The screen flashed a giant light and it soon filled the room. Ray and Ryland shut their eyes from the immense brightness. When they opened their eyes, they were not in their dingy little dorm room but inside of a throne room. On the throne sat a beautiful woman with light blue and purple hair.
"Greetings Ryland and Ray, I am Princess Celestia. Welcome to Equestria"
Both Ray and Ryland stared at the beauty in front of them, only hearing the word 'Equestria' brought them out of their trance. Did they hear that right? Did she say Equestria?
Ryland was the first to speak: "Um, excuse me your highness. Did you say that we're in Equestria?"
"I did. Now I can see why you to would be in a state of shock
