Princess Twilight Sparkle, and her friends, were the Keepers of the Elements of Harmony. Until they were force to return them to the Tree of Harmony. The tree in return gave a locked box to the ponies.
The keys to unlock the box were hidden, and were only found in time to save all of Equestria. However the ponies that open the box were not the friends of Twilight, but the young Cutie Mark Crusaders, Sweetie Bell, Apple Bloom, and Scootaloo.
This is the start of one of their new adventures.

Part one
Vinyl Scratch was screaming. It seemed like every time aunt Vinyl did not get her way, she started screaming. “Why did you tell her go home? I need her hear!”
Rarity puffed out her chest and held her head up high. “That not what you said two days ago, darling. As I recall you said something along the lines of. You hope that broom sick up her….”
Vinyl screamed some more. “I was drunk! You can not lesson to me when I am drunk!”
Rarity then retorted. “Well, can you tell me when you are not drunk, my dear. Just so I know.”
“Sweetie Bell, you may want to come away for the door.” Said Twilight. “I think Rarity and your aunt have a lot to work out.”
Sweetie Bell slowly closed the door that lead to the showroom of Carousel Boutique. She turn to face Princess Twilight Sparkle and Octavia Melody who were sitting at the kitchen table.
Octavia looked down at the cup off coffee that she was trying hard to drink. Her hove keep touching her blacken right eye. “She has never done this before.” Octavia said at last. “I know Vinyl is under a lot of stress right now, but what did I do to provoke this much anger?”
The little filly went over to the gray coated mare. She wanted to say something that would comfort her aunty Octavia but she just did not have the words. All she could think to do was to give her a hug.
That was all the Octavia could stand. As she pick up Sweetie Bell and returned the hug.
Twilight said. “There is no amount of stress that justifies hitting another pony. Octavia you are a smart mare, you know that.”
Nodding, Octavia came out of the hug and returning Sweetie Bell to the floor. “I know, but it feels so different when you are the one in the middle of a problem. At home, my mother and farther would talk about what brother them. And, when we would have thou silly abuse lectures in school, I thought that I would never be the one being abused. I never thought Vinyl would ever hit me.”
There was a loud crash form the showroom. “You will pay for that, Vinyl!” Said Rarity.
“Send the bill to my manager.” Screamed Vinyl back to Rarity. “I need a drink.”
Rarity had one last thing to say before Vinyl stormed out of the dress shop. “You go and get your drink, but let me ask you this, with would you rather kiss. The open end of a bottle or the lips of one of the most wonderful mares in Equestria?”
With that the sound of front door to the dress shop slammed closed.
After a short time, and what sounded like weeping, the door open to the kitchen. Rarity all but dance into the room. “I must say that my dear cousin, Vinyl Scratch, is such a drama queen. I see why she took the stage name DJ Pon-3. She have the vocal range of three ponies.”
Princess Twilight look over to Octavia, and said. “I think you should come with me and stay the night at my home. Vinyl is not likely to be looking for you there.”
Before Octavia had a chance to speak, Rarity said. “That sounds wonderful. Why don’t you go with Twilight and Octavia, Sweetie Bell. I sure our dear little friend Spike needs some pony to play with.”
However Sweetie Bell was just blunt with her question. “Do you think aunt Vinyl is going to come back drunk and tear up Carousel Boutique?”
The adult ponies all gasped at the question. After looking at one another for a short time. Octavia said. “Maybe I should go and find Vinyl. I sure this will never happen again.”
Princess Twilight put her hove down. “You have two big problems, Octavia. And your wanting to save Vinyl form herself, is one of them. The more you give into Vinyl, the more she is going to take advantage of you. That just how addiction works. That is just how abuse also works.”
Upon hear what Twilight had to say, Octavia broke down in tears. Rarity put a comforting hove upon Octavia shoulder. “There. There my dear. I know it is hard to hear, but it is the truth. Now, we are going to help you as much as we can, but you have a lot of work to do. Both on yourself and with Vinyl if you want to be happy together once more.”
“I just want things to be like they were before.” Sob Octavia
Twilight also went over to Octavia took her hove into her own. “Those days are gone, but we can help you make new and happier days. If we can get though to Vinyl.”

Part two
Staying at the library had been fun, and breakfast with Spike had been enjoyable. But, it was time to go to school. Sweetie Bell announced that she was heading off and both Twilight and Octavia told her to have a good day.
Sweetie Bell realized she had forgotten one of her school books. And, she had to return to Carousel Boutique to retrieve it. She also wanted to check upon Rarity, to make sure aunt Vinyl had not done something wrong. The walk home was not far, and on good days, Sweetie Bell could cover the distance in half the time. However the dread of what she might find slow her feet.
She pass the Ponyville Clock Tower, and made her way to the river. Once over the bridge Sweetie Bell could see her aunt Vinyl setting at the front door of Carousel Boutique. A bottle sat between her hooves.
Slowly Sweetie Bell walked up to aunt Vinyl. Unsure of what was going to happen. All Vinyl did was set and look at the un-open bottle of Jack. Sweetie Bell sat down next to Vinyl and asked. “Aunt Vinyl, why do you drink so much?”
Not looking away form the bottle, Vinyl replied. “Lot of reasons, but I guess the main reason is that I like the feeling of control I have when I am drunk. Like I can do anything. Makes me feel like I am the smartest, and hot mare in the room. You know, like I am top of my game.”
“Why are you so mad at aunty Octavia?” Asked Sweetie Bell.
“Because she love me for me. And, she worries about me. She made a video of my last gig, to show me how out of control I had become. And, I try to pass it off as the ‘life stile’ of a DJ. But, the more I watch the video, the more upset I got at how I was acting. What seem so great in my head, looked like carp in the video. Octavia show me things I did not want to see and I took it out on her. That how she got the black eye.” expanded Vinyl.
A voice came form behind Vinyl and Sweetie Bell. It was Rarity asking. “Have you try just not drinking?”
Vinyl then said. “Like I said, I enjoy the feeling of being drunk. Even if the feeling of control is a lie.”
Rarity sat on the other side of Vinyl. “Then way are you not drinking now?” Rarity asked.
“I want to, but what you said last night will not let me alone. Truth is I want to kiss Octavia, more than want to rap my lips around this cold, hard, unfeeling bottle.” Vinyl then kick the bottle away. “The problem is, that I want it all. I want to get drunk and I want Octavia to love me. But, I can not have both.”
Rarity hug Vinyl. “No darling. You have to chose. And, I think you need time away form both alcohol and Octavia to make a proper decision. What ever your chose in the end, and I hope you can live with it, I will help you.”
Vinyl said. “I suck at life.”

Part three
“An update on aunt Vinyl and aunty Octavia.” Recorded Sweetie Bell in her CMC notebook. “After about a month apart, aunt Vinyl and aunty Octavia went out on there first ‘back together’ date. Seems like they miss each other very much, but they both admitted they need to the time apart to think about what they wanted for themselves and each other.”
“I think the main point is that you can be to generous, even with love and forgiveness. Aunty Octavia wanted to be with aunt Vinyl so much that she was willing to forgiven anything. However when aunt Vinyl was not only hurting herself, but aunty Octavia as well that when aunty Octavia did the smart thing and asked for help.”
“On the other hove, aunt Vinyl was giving so little to the relationship between her and aunty Octavia that she took advantage of the love that she was getting.”
“I think that the magic of generosity is finding the balance between giving to much and giving to little.”
“Rarity will not let me read all of the aunt Vinyl’s letter, because she says that some parts are not fit for fillies my age.”
“P.S. I got my cutie mark today. But, I do not understand what it means. It sort of looks like a big black gear with a number two inside of it?”
