An Unlikely Match - Part 1
Load Full StoryNext Chapter“Applejack!” I cried out as I ran as fast as I could to Sweet Apple Acres. Sure, there were others that Twilight could have used, but she asked for Applejack specifically. She had come down with something and knew that the farm owning pony would be able to help her out the most out of all of her friends.
The orange pony looked over in my direction, immediately knowing something was wrong. She ran over as quick as she could, stopping me where I was, and leaving me completely out of breath. “What's the matter, Spike?” She asked with concern in her voice.
“Twilight... sick... need... help....” I said through panted breaths. I then took one rather large breath, knowing Applejack heard a bit of it, but she needed more. Once I had caught my breath, I was able to finish this crucial sentence. “Twilight came down with something and needs help. She said that you would be able to help her most of all and begged me to run down here and get you.” I said.
“Alright, Spike. Don't you worry. I'll get there quicker than a jackrabbit in Spring. Why don't you head on inside and get yourself something to drink. Don't worry about hurrying home. I'll take care of her.” She said, ruffling the spines on my head a little before taking off down the road. I was going to protest, but before I could, she was gone.
So instead, I took here advice and made my way toward the barn. I passed by Big Macintosh who looked confused. I quickly explained it to him and he just nodded before going on to work. I then went inside and found some leftover apple cider. Cider season had just passed, but the Apples always had some extra lying around their home. They just couldn't get enough of it.
With a glass of the cool liquid in my clawed hand, I went back outside and sat down. Applejack told me not to worry about it, so I may as well sit down for a bit and relax before I started the walk back home. At least this time I wouldn't have to run. I could take a nice, refreshing walk to clear my head. Yeah... That was what I needed.
But I couldn't help it. I was worried about Twilight. She meant a lot to me, and even though I had never really mentioned it to her, I thought of her a lot like my own mother. Seeing as I have no idea who my real mother is, Twilight just seemed to fit that role. I knew Applejack would be able to take care of her, but that didn't ease my worrying mind.
I decided to look around, hoping I would find something to catch my eye and get my mind off of Twilight's sickness for now. But as I looked around, all I could see was Big Macintosh, plowing away at the fields. I watched him move around the grounds without a care in the world. His stoic face showed little emotion, which wasn't a bad thing. He seemed mostly content with what he was doing, knowing it was helping his family.
But as he moved, my eyes seemed to be drawn to his bulging muscles. With every step, I watched them move, shifting around and working hard. I knew I was staring at him, but I couldn't help myself. There was something that was just captivating about him, and I wasn't sure why. What I did know is that it got my heart racing, and not in the same way it had just been moments ago after my rapid sprint to the farm.
“Heya Spike!” Called out Applebloom from behind me. I yelped a bit, dropping the glass of Cider and falling off of the bushel of hay that I was sitting on. She laughed at me before helping me up a little bit.
“Sorry bout that. Whatcha doin' all the way out here?” She asked with a tilt of her head. She then looked around, realizing something strange. “And where's Twilight? She's always with you!” She added on.
“Twilight came down with something bad and asked for me to come out here to ask for Applejack's help. I said she should see a doctor, but she apparently knew what it was and knew that Applejack would be able to help more. So I ran out here as quickly as I could to get her. Now Applejack's in Ponyville, and she told me to take a rest out here before I headed back, not wanting me to pass out on the way.” I explained to her. Applebloom understood, nodding her head a little bit. It now explained why there was also one less pony out here in the fields.
“Say... Applebloom...” I started, wondering how best to say this. “How... Uh... How come Big Macintosh hasn't been with anypony special? I mean... After all his hard work, how is it that there's nopony who wants to be with him in a, well... More than a friend way?” I asked her, hoping she wouldn't see the blush on my face.
“Well... The girls and I tried to put him with Ms. Cheerilee on Hearts and Hooves Day not too long ago, but that didn' work out too well. We ended up giving 'em a love poison instead of a love potion. Since then, we stayed away from all of that. I asked him one day, but he just said he hadn't found the right one yet. I think it's because he's so quiet and helpful. He's always helping out everypony else, but nopony is there to help him out.” She explained.
I nodded a little, turning to look out to him. “I... I think I should start getting back.” I said, picking up the glass that had luckily not broken. Handing it to Applebloom, I thanked her for the talk before heading off down the path. But once I noticed that she was inside and not able to see, I knew my eyes were drawn to the large red stallion once more. For whatever reason, he got my heart racing and made me want something. But I just wasn't sure what yet.
I started to feel something else stirring, and looked down to notice just what it was. My cheeks turned bright red, even more so when I glanced up and noticed Big Macintosh staring right at me with a confused look on his face. Without another thought or glance, I ran as fast as I could away from the farm, feeling more embarrassed than I had ever felt before.
Once I was far enough away, I started walking again. With a quick glance down, I noticed that my extra appendage had returned to its hidden pouch. A small breath of relief was released, but that didn't ease my mind all the way. How had I gotten like that? Was it actually Big Macintosh? Did I actually...?
No, that was impossible. I knew what it was like to love somepony. After all, there was Rarity who I knew I loved. Sure, she had never really returned my advances, but I knew my feelings for her. It had to be something else. I must have thought of Rarity briefly while I was there. Perhaps I should go visit her. Maybe that would ease my mind.
With the new plan in mind, I made my way to Carousel Boutique. Rarity was inside and as I looked at her curly purple mane and tale, and her brilliant white coat, I noticed something different. But it wasn't with her... It was the way I looked at her. Sure, I thought she was beautiful, yet... Had my feelings actually changed? I didn't feel that same gushing feeling for her that I did before. Even worse was the fact that my thoughts switched back to the large farm stallion back at Sweet Apple Acres. I ended up leaving early, stating I should go check on Twilight. But as I did, I couldn't help but think about Big Macintosh more and more.
What was wrong with me? Why was I thinking of him like that? I mean... Was I different for even liking a stallion versus a mare? I hadn't really seen many relationships in the way. And yet... As I walked around, I noticed several stallion couples around town. How has I not noticed them before? I walked this town all the time, looking at the other ponies. I knew most of them, and they all knew me. So how had I not noticed these pairings before?
I finally returned to the library to see Applejack sitting down in the lower levels. “Hey Applejack. Things going alright?” I asked her, my mind leaving her brother for a moment now that I was back where Twilight was.
“Yep! Twilight's just sleepin' away now. Poor gal came down with somethin' awful. Luckily it's nothin' new to me and mah family.” She said with a smile. “Sorry 'bout leavin' you like that. I hope the trip back wasn't bad.” She said, rubbing a hoof behind her head.
I smiled and shook my head. “No worries, Applejack. I'm just glad that you could help out Twilight. She didn't look good at all this morning.” I said. But my mind was quickly distracted again. No matter what I did, I couldn't help but get the image of Big Macintosh out of my head.
Unfortunately for me, Applejack caught on to something being wrong right away. “Everythin' alright, Sugarcube?” She asked me. I knew I couldn't lie to her. She was the element of honesty after all.
I let out a sigh as I sat down next to her. “No... Not quite. But... I don't know how to explain it very well.” I said, glancing up toward the upper levels. What would Twilight think of me for this? After all, as I had mentioned, I thought of her like my mother. If she couldn't approve of something like this, then how would I be able to live with myself?
“Why don't we take a walk, Spike, and you can tell me all about it. Don't worry. I won't tell nopony.” She said with a smile. I nodded as she motioned toward her back. I quickly climbed on before the two of us left the library, allowing Twilight to sleep peacefully.
Once we were out of town, and the two of us had gotten to talking about just other things, she finally brought it back up and I knew there was no avoiding it this time.
“You know about how I've had feelings for Rarity for as long as I've known her, right?” I asked her. Applejack just chuckled and nodded, this being the first time she had actually heard me say anything about it. “Well... Before I came back to the library, I went over there to see her and... While I still thought she was beautiful, I didn't quite look at her the same way. And while I was over there, my mind was on somepony else...” I said, blushing.
“Oh? And who'd that be, Sugarcube?” She asked curiously. I wasn't able to respond right away, just looking off to the side. She thought for a moment, wondering who it was that could make me look away like that. “Is it it... Twilight?” She asked. I shook my head. “Or.... Me?” A small blush appeared on her face when asking that, but I shook my head again. “Well I'm sorry, Spike... I can't think of anypony who it could be. If you want to talk about it, you're gonna just have to tell me.”
My heart was racing again, even more so than before. She wanted me to tell her, and I knew she wouldn't drop it at all. I had to tell her. “Big Macintosh...” I said quietly. She blinked, looking over at me.
“Come again? And this time, don't speak like Fluttershy.” She said.
“Big Macintosh.” I finally said in a more normal tone. I could tell from the look on her face that she wasn't expecting that at all. Even more so from the fact that she stopped walking as I said it.
“B-Big Macintosh? That's who you've got the hots for now? How'd that happen?” She asked, and I wasn't quite sure how she felt about it yet. She seemed mad, but at the same time, I wasn't entirely sure how she felt.
I explained what happened at the farm after she left, and how I found myself staring at him as he worked. She had started walking again while I talked, and before I realized it, we were back at the farm. And there he was, plowing away. But Applejack had moved us to some bushes where he wouldn't be able to see us.
“So.. That's who you're feeling for now, huh?” She asked, still unsure what to think about it. “Does he know yet?” She added on. I shook my head furiously. “Alright, alright, calm down. It was just a question.” She said with a chuckle.
“Sorry... It's just... I wasn't sure what to think about it. I thought I was different for liking a stallion instead of a mare. But on my way back home from Rarity's place, I noticed all sorts of stallion couples in the town.” I told her.
“Yeah, they aren't exactly rare. You mean to tell me you never noticed them before?” She asked, looking at me with a confused look.
“I used to think they were just friends. I never thought anything of it.” I said with a light shrug. Applejack nodded, realizing how I could have thought that. I wasn't as versed in the matters of love as others might. I was still considered a baby dragon. Then again, dragons were considered babies for quite some time, and for those who, like me, don't get super greedy, it's even longer.
“So what do you plan to do?” She asked me. It was clear though from the look on my face that I had no idea, nor had I even planned on telling her about this.
“Well... As strange as it may sound, Big Mac over there hasn't really shown much affection for anypony in general. While I had never really thought about it, perhaps the reason why is because it isn't a pony he's supposed to be with.” She said with a smile.
I was confused, as evidence from the tilting of my head. “However, it's up to you to do something. I can drag Applebloom away, and you don't need to worry about Granny Smith. But if you want anything from him, you'll have to be the one to go get it.” I blushed again as she said that, not expecting to do anything today.
But before I could respond, she had already gotten me off of her back and had left me there alone as she went to get Applebloom. She told Big Macintosh that she was going to head back into town with Applebloom, and I saw her briefly glance my way. She was trying to get me to do something now, and I wasn't sure what to do.
But she was right. It was up to me to do something. As the two left, leaving me there by the bush to stare at the one who I had newly developed feelings for, I knew that I had to approach him. I watched him get stuck somewhere. There must have been something in the way that the plow couldn't get through no matter how hard he had pushed.
I then watch him try to un-hitch, but something seemed to be stuck and he couldn't get himself off of the plow to find it. It was then that I remember what Applebloom had said. Nopony had really been there to help him. Maybe this was how I could help him.
I took a deep breath and mustered up my courage before moving around the bush and walking over to him. “Heya Big Macintosh!” I said with a smile, my hands shaking a little bit in the process.
The large stallion looked over at me and nodded my way, trying to free himself again, but finding it useless. He chuckled nervously a bit. “Hey Spike... Uhh... Care to help me out a bit?” He asked me. It was strange hearing him talk. But his deep voice was amazing to hear.
“Uh... Sure. What do you need?” I asked him, knowing what it was. But he didn't know that I knew, and I had to keep it that way.
He informed me of how the plow worked and how it was attached to him. He needed me to unhitch it from him. “Just climb on mah back and get it off. I can take it from there.” Wait... Get on his back? I didn't think this through very well. And now I had to help him.
I gulped a little. “S-sure. I... I can do that.” I said, knowing the nervousness was there in my voice. I climbed up on the plow before moving to his back. The moment one of my claws touched his back, I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. I was actually able to smell him now. The musky smell from him having worked all day was intoxicating. And the feeling of his coat, the large muscles beneath it, was just amazing.
I took my time across his back, not realizing how weird it was to him to have me move as slow as I was. He had seen me on the backs of Twilight and her friends all the time. He didn't think it was going to be that different here. But he said nothing as I finally reached the hitch and found out where it was stuck.
It took a little bit of maneuvering, and I even had to adjust myself to be on the other side of it, now closer to his head. He chuckled a little bit when I did, just glad that I had been there to help him. Otherwise, he would have been stuck there for awhile. I finally released it, but it popped up when I did, launching me forward and landing on the ground.
Now free from the hitch, Big Macintosh walked over to me and looked down at me on the ground. Originally I was in pain, but the minute my eyes met his in such a close proximity, my heart pounded more than it had ever done before.
“You okay?” He finally asked me. I wasn't able to respond. I tried, but just couldn't bring myself to say anything. However, involuntarily, my head moved forward. And before I knew it, my lips had met with his. It was only for a brief second, but I knew where my feelings lie. I loved Big Macintosh, and wanted more.
He moved away, however, when they had done so, clearly not having expected it. “I'm Sorry!” I cried out as I looked away. “I... I was watching you earlier while you worked and... I don't know... I just couldn't help it. Your eyes were so... And your muscles... and that smell...” I said, losing control of my words. But when I looked up at him, I noticed he was blushing now too.
“N-Nopony's said that about me before... You... You really like all that?” He asked me. I nodded slightly as I laid there beneath him. As we looked at each other again, I could feel my head moving toward him again, but this time, rather than it just being me, I noticed his head lowering down.
When our lips met this time, I had a feeling that he had been incredibly flattered by what I said and was glad to know somepony, or some dragon, felt that way about him. The kiss that we shared now was mutual, and my heart raced in my chest. I could even hear the heartbeat in my ears, but I didn't care. The kiss was amazing, until I felt something stirring in my lower regions again. The problem from before had returned.
I broke the kiss, trying to hide it with my hands. But when I looked back up at him, he just had a light smile on his face, his cheeks still bright pink from before. It was hard to see, and would never have been seen at a distance. But being this close, I knew that he liked what I had said, and maybe liked me too.
I watched him back up a little and nuzzle my claws out of the way, revealing what I was trying to hide. The noise that came out of my mouth was somewhat of a squeak, and I knew I had never made that sound before. And he laughed. I actually heard him laugh. It was deep and yet caring. It made me smile a bit before laughing as well.
“Somepo-... Dragon is eager.” He said, realizing he wasn't actually with a pony.
“I... I guess....” I said, blushing again. “I was nervous to be here.... I had never seen you with anypony else and figured that maybe you just didn't care.” I added on, looking away.
“Nnnope. Ah was just waitin' for the right one to come by.” He said with a smile. It was clear that he was happy to be here with me. But was I really the right one? Were the two of us meant to be together? I got myself up off the ground and stood next to him.
“The right one?” I asked him, wondering his thoughts.
“The one who'll care about me the most.” He said. This was the most I had heard him say, and definitely the deepest his words seemed to hit. He had this way with words though. He didn't need to say much to let all of us know exactly what he was thinking.
“Well... I care about you...” I said, twiddling my claws together. He leaned his snout down and when I felt his hot breath next to my ear, it was almost as good as what he said next.
“I know.” Was all he said before he kissed my ear gently before moving across my cheek with a series of kisses before our lips pressed against each other again. I let out a light moan of happiness and knew where I was right now was the best feeling I'd had in a very long time. Maybe the two of us were meant to be together. It'd be a strange relationship to be sure, but from what I'd heard before when I was rather curious about the idea of love, it works in mysterious ways. Perhaps this was just where we were meant to be.
I lifted my clawed hands up and wrapped them around his neck. With the strength he possessed, he simply sat back and pulled me up. I felt myself resting down on his lap again, the kiss of ours continuing. It felt uncomfortable at first, but as I let go around his neck and moved them to his side, I could tell it made it feel better for both of us.
Just then, I felt something growing against my back. My eyes glanced to see his large member growing tall and I was instantly intimidated. But when he noticed my look, he chuckled a bit, breaking the kiss. He shook his head a little. “Don't worry about that. It just means ah'm happy to be with you.” He said with a smile. His smile was so caring and gentle. On any other kind of pony, it would have been out of place, but with his physique, it seemed to fit just right.
To think that we would be sitting together in this way... I had never imagined it whether asleep or awake. It was so strange, yet so right. I felt my much smaller member rub against his soft belly and felt that pleasurable feeling once more. My tail swirled back and wrapped around his larger length and started to rub it a little. He smiled, letting out a light moan as well. Apparently I was doing something right.
“Umm... Big Macintosh?” I said, looking up at him. He tilted his head at me in confusion, wondering what was on my mind. “Thank you.” I said with a smile as I hugged him once more. His large hooves wrapped around me and held me close and I knew that we had to be meant for each other. The way I felt in my heart was just better than I had felt with anypony else. I didn't think this was going to happen, but I was glad it did.
A light twitch from my lower regions reminded me that I had something to take care of. Something that had been bugging me all day, ever since I had seen him this morning. I backed up a little and broke the hug before smiling at him. From there, I twisted myself around on his lap, facing his large cock that had now grown to full length. From the position I was in, it was about as long as I was, but I didn't care, and neither did he.
My own, much smaller rod pressed up against his as I wrapped my hands around it and started to stroke it, practically with my body. He bit his lip a little and I could hear him inhale sharply. But from the way his member twitched, I knew he had liked what I was doing. The tips of my claws gently scratched at the sensitive flesh, creating even more excitement for him.
His front hooves moved back as he leaned backward as well, allowing his large length to practically flatten me in the process. He chuckled a bit at the sight, but it felt amazing. I didn't think I would do something like this, but it felt... Well it felt a way that was just indescribable. His hips moved forward a little and I felt his cock rub across my body. I continued to hump against his cock, my tongue now releasing from my mouth and wrapping around the head.
The moan he let out after that sounded wonderful coming from him. And it made it even better knowing that it was because of me that he had made such a sound. The movements continued a little as I scooted up as much as I could, now licking the head of his rod quite vigorously. My tail swished down and rubbed against his soft orbs, the flat part at the tip of my tail moving them up and down. He had never been treated like this, and I could tell from the way he was panting that he was enjoying it.
I opened my mouth wide and engulfed the head of his member. I couldn't really go much farther than that, but I was perfectly fine where I was. The taste of it was amazing. I felt a small shot of some sort of liquid come from the tip that added to the taste and the sensation. But most of all, I loved the sounds I heard from the large stallion. He was being treated like the most important pony in the world, and at this moment, that was how I saw him.
My heard raced for him, and even with my eyes closed, I could see everything about him. Most of all, I saw his eyes and his smile. The face that he had on him was just wonderful and I was glad to be here with him. My body continued to move along the length of his cock, my mouth suckling on the head quite heavily. Saliva dripped out of my mouth, and the moans he made turned me on even more.
I could feel the liquid that he had shot into my mouth slipping out of my own member, making it easier and easier to ride the length of his. I had known a little bit about sex from what I had seen once before as I walked around. The mares in the town were in heat and one couple just couldn't help themselves soon enough. But I knew I wouldn't be able to do something like that at the size I was now. I felt bad that I couldn't give Big Macintosh the full experience, but at this time, I don't think he cared. Maybe I could find a way to change that later. But for now, I was just enjoying my current position.
I felt his hips buck a little harder, and felt his orbs move a little bit more. He groaned a little more than usual and I could hear his panting increase a little. “Careful there, Spike.” He said through a bit of a moan. “If ya keep goin' at that rate... Ah'm not gonna last much longer.” He said through panted breaths.
I just smiled and bucked my own hips into his, showing that I didn't care. He chuckled a bit before responding with a harder buck of his own. His hooves pushed him forward and he found himself standing now. But I wasn't sure if it was out of pure strength or will, I found myself still sandwiched between his cock and his belly.
His started to buck forward a little bit and I felt his length pulse beneath me. My own body moved along with him, letting out a moan. But the sounds I heard him make made me know that he was about to release and hadn't wanted to make a mess on himself or me.
I wiggled my way off, falling to the ground. The rush of air above it pushed him over the edge, along with the light scraping of my claws around his length. As I looked up, I watched his member pulse before feeling his seed shoot out over my body. He moaned loudly in the process as I was drenched in his hot fluids. It felt amazing. My own cock throbbed and released as well. While not able to add much to what he had poured over me, I needed that release.
I chuckled a little as I shakily stood up, his cum dripping from my body. “Sorry 'bout that, Spike.” He said, blushing again. But I just shook my head as I moved off to the side. I shook my body much like a dog would, shaking off the sticky substance before it was able to dry. My tongue tasted the little bit that was left on my arm and I blinked. It was a strange taste, and yet... It was amazing. I turned to face Big Macintosh who smiled at me.
That smile drew me right back to him as I stepped up to him and kissed him much deeper than before. My small yet long tongue slipped into his mouth and moved over his much larger tongue. When the kiss finally broke, he smiled again. “Never thought ah'd be with a dragon, 'specially you. But... Ah think I like it.” He said happily.
“So... Does that mean that we....” I asked, nervously. He took a little bit to respond but when he finally did, he just smiled at me.
“Eeeyup.”
