A Betrayer, when in actual fact, it was he who was betrayed. When Illidan Stormrage's sanity was lost to the demonic powers with the aid of all he had suffered, he made enemies with the right, and wrong people. Falling in the Battle of the Black Temple, he is sent to the Twisting Nether where he Escapes, and reclaims his sanity. But he did not escape back into Azeroth as he had originally planned.
