//-------------------------------------------------------// Pretty. Odd. -by Aleksandr Sherbet- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// I.We're so starving part 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// I.We're so starving part 1      You had a rather tough time creating a song on the top of your head most music is extremely well thought out with a topic or subject in mind. But you were different what you experienced in life is what you wrote about.      A musicians life is always something you wanted. Sure there a few moments where being a music writer almost killed you but those were behind you as you stumbled into a quaint little town. The town bustled with essence of work and happiness, you smiled and continued on you looked around town to see that most ponies were out doing their daily activities. Fillies and Colts running around playing tag and its counterpart freeze tag some played with toys that they may have brought out of their homes.      The older ponies were happily conversing with one another, another day you guess as most towns were like this or appeared like this, seemingly everything was okay well placed.      As you continued walking you looked around to see an oddly excitable mare her coat was bright pink something that wasn't too different in what ponies had, but something about her shined happiness and innocence.      A large smile appeared as she happily bounced towards you. Every time she had jumped a springing sound would fit her hops something that sounded playfulness.      "Hi I'm Pinkie Pie what's your name?" She asked happily as she had stopped in front of you. Her light blue eyes were something that oddly fit her you smiled and told her your name.      "That's funny name what about I call you buddy?!" You nodded knowing that she must've given everyone a nickname at one point or another. But buddy suited you or maybe she didn't know what to call you so she picked a generic nickname but you didn't care as long as you had meet someone who could show you around town.      "Of course I could take you on a tour let's start at SugarCube Corner!" She smiled and began to hop towards the bakery.      You let out a soft chuckle before walking alongside the mare. You felt happy with mare she always took a look at your outfit, it was a marching band outfit a standard outfit you wore during your travels off.      "So buddy where you from?" She asked      You told her that you were from Manehatten you lived in a apartment with your parents years ago but since then you've traveled around Equestria trying to get inspiration for your journey music journal. Or your J.M.J.      "Oh that's cool have you ever been to Trottingham? I heard it's pretty quiet over there." You nodded it was as quiet as any town could be.      "So here's the town hall! Any time you need something built or planned you can come here!" She continued the tour bringing you towards other areas such as the library. Pinkie told you that her friend lived there but she wasn't home saying that her friend was on business. You had no idea what that meant or why it concerned you but it might've just slipped out when speaking to you.      "So are you a smarty pants like Twilight?" She asked      You knew about the newly appointed princess many months ago but you didn't know why she was inferring her into the conversation.      "Oh I was just wondering if you were as smart as her that's all. Most ponies say that they're almost as smart as her but nobody can match her. She's super duper extra luper smart." Pinkie let out a giggle and continued even more small talk.      You smiled and nodded at every thing that the girl had to talk about. She was happy and hyper you had to give her that much. Plus she was slightly more attractive then any mare you've seen during your travels and many could match her beauty but due to you roaming around the country you didn't have much of a chance to get into a serious relationship.      "You don't talk much do you?" You actually talked a lot but for her the way to talked wasn't enough. She almost wanted you to talk as fast as her which wasn't really possible.      "Really? You talk a lot you seem like one of those shy guys." Pinkie stopped making you stop as she took a long look at you and what you currently had on your person.      "Marching band outfit. Check! 'Talks a lot.' Check! Blank journal. Check! From what I gathered you're a musician!" She happily stated as she jumped around you excitedly exclaiming 'a rising singer'. It was a little embarrassing but you guessed this was normal as ponies just simply walked past two of you not giving more than just a glance towards your location.      You blushed and told her that you haven't had much thought to what to write about. You explained that everything you've seen in town has given you a bit of inspiration but not enough to write a full song.      "Oh that's too bad maybe when you get more aquatinted with the town then you can think up a few songs. What if I help you how does that sound?" You looked at her with an odd expression and asked why she'd do that for you.      "Because you need help and I'm here to offer it! Think about it for a few hours and come find me at SugarCube Corner if you want my help!" Before you could say a thing she ran off to who knows where. She may have been a little crazy but she was helpful nonetheless but you were currently lost in a town that you've only entered a few minutes ago.      Great that's what you get for accepting a tour guide who's as crazy as a bat. Before you knew it you had nearly dodged a runaway cart heading towards you. You looked forward to see three fillies running towards the cart along with a orange coated mare following right behind. Spoke too soon.
