The rogue colonel
'Cause It`s a filler, filler night
Previous ChapterThe land was bleak. That obvious statement flew right over the red headed mans…head. He stood in the middle of the dusty cliff, a crumbling overpass on his back left and vault 101 directly in front of him. Or at least the shitty screen door that led to vault 101`s steel vault door. His iconic handle bar mustache wavered with his blowback hair. Shifting in his regulators uniform he took in a deep breath. A rad roach approached the strange man then stopped turning around to face in the opposite direction of him.
“Sniper kitty in a hand grenade here and were doing a twofur mcdoffer in the world of fallout three!” the strange man blurted in a rather energetic and dimwitted tone. He spun on his axis lowing his head at the rad roach looking rather displeased by its behavior. “Steve!” he shouted. “Yes your ass is fantastic, but we are doing an intro. Be professional!” he spoke creasing his eyebrows at the small creature. Turning back his energetic personality he continued with his bland rehashed intro.
“Today were doing fallout retextured.” He motioned to the ground its new skin slightly improved over it vanilla base but coming up short to Skyrim. He continued with his speech having let the metaphorical slide show pass. “And were doing fallout co-op. Yes Steve someone else to admire your ass. Kisses! Muwa! Muwa!” he continued on giving his affection to the animated cockroach.
Far off in the distance soothing was watching our red head. jumping from its spot it climbed the rocky mountain scape near his position. The being in medic power armor approached him. In its hands it held the wazzer wifel. Impatient with the strange man it fired the weapon past him at a nearby rock. A sign if its growing annoyance.
“OK-ok jeez keep your metal pants on. Well everbody our partner has arrived and is less than pleased. Lets get on with the mod review!” His voice renewed he jumbled off with his partner following closely. They both walked down the path into the small destroyed Neighborhood. He continued to blabber making various references and complaining that the mod didn’t like Mr. Cuddlesworth. Making way the two started to a large makeshift structure.
They apprehend megaton on their arrival. Or the one in power armor entered with the trench coat one in tow as it murdered everyone from turning to ash to beating to death with their own severed head. He leaned in near his six legged companion whispering.
“Steve. Steve! Whatever you do, don’t move or show your ass. Murders can’t see you if you don’t move or show your ass.” He remained in his stock animation position only ever swaying his arms ever so gently as screams of the dammed washed over them. His oblivious companion did not heed his advice and continued to move his head back an fourth at the ground.
The armored murder waltzed back up the hill to their position. The two remained in their spots even as it approached them.

The lone wander was less than pleased. So far her mod companion had done little in the way of help her. This ‘alchestbreach’ had little to nun in the way of help with megaton. She even killed Mr. Burkly by her lonesome self despite him coming into the town with her. The frustration only mounted when the rad roach turned it back on her.
In a fit of anger she disintegrated both mustache man and annoying beast from her game. Refreshed by the sudden clash of random murder the lone wander continued on her quest.
Her spree took her to rivet city as she continued her cleanup of the city from the main section to the annoying doctor in the rear bow. Taking the big book of science with her she left the armored room pressing the button of the opposite wall. The ships door closing on the doctor’s blood decorated aboded. A smile greased her lips as she slipped one more out of the ship and onto the river shifting through its ever murky water. Flipping to her pipboy she fast-traveled to little big town a place that laid barren to the super mutant attack that raided it not long ago. The only reason she still returned to this picked over settlement was a particular super mutant she chained here.
Walking over the rickety bridge she made way past reds old house and to a green mutant standing by the car wall. “Hey uncle leo” she spurted at the green mutant a eager smile on her face.
“Yes. Here you are. What death have you brought on my brothers today?” he asked hes constant fluxing pitch.
She continued smiling “well” she started. “Some masters were at a radio tower so I fixed my Xuanlong assault rifle. O-and at this capital building me and dog meat cleared it out of at least seventy five super mutants, it was great!” her smile continued as she closed her eyes recounting the memories she just spoke of.
“Your accounts of mercy less slaughter do sicken me, but you are the only human to except a super mutant as a friend. So I am contempt.” The voice disinterested yet changing to an almost crying pitch.
“Ha. Your right! Other than fawks you’re the only mutant I haven’t shot in the face. Alright see yea later!” she shouted her back already turned as she made her way out of the dusty town. Her short attention span persuaded her to move on to the citadel.
Fast-traveling to the location she met the familiar sight. The pentagon as it was formally know now its grand design picked over and faded from glory. The once cement wall crumbled onto itself to from a defensive door with a large movable grate over the entrance. Walking past the guards she made her way to the front door entering the bailey. Making a left she entered another push door and into the deep loping hallways of the citadel to the main halls, to the laboratory.
Standing ever displeased was scribe Rothchild mumbling something about reactor output and status of power armor. She found this was the perfect time to interrupt him.
“Hey rot how it is going you over paid intern?” her smug and dissentient voice ringing over his ears.
“Yes it`s you. Do go away, I have a important finding to catalog and encrypt.” He spoke waving his hand at the lone wander.
“What sort of finding?” she asked genuine interest in her voice.
“If you must know. Your little stunt at the activation of the purifier caused a slight malfunction. Over all its benign but a small temporal rift occurred when you fired a fat man by the G.E.C.K.”
“Not my fault. Someone put a colonel in my way.”
“Back to my point. A rift occurred not just around the purifier but the wasteland itself. The events seem to be at Radom until we discovered what can trigger them. Luckily only nuclear devices seem to have enough energy to interact with the rifts. Otherwise we have little to fear.”
The lone wanders body straitened at the mention of nuclear device before returning to her natural stance. “Thank you Mr. Rothchild. Have a nice day!” The lone wander chirped before skidding off to another part of the lab. Slowly her smile stretched into a demented grin. Bring up her pipboy she checked her mini nuke supply. Her joy only exceled on reviewing her units available. Making her way up a few flights of stairs and two left turns she made way to a curtain companion. “Star cross. It`s been a long time.”
“Not long enough." she said her voice full of disgust and disappointment. "I followed your father, you however lack that light for humanity inside.”
“Not my fault that those paladins got in my way. They should have stayed behind when I told them. You know I can’t keep my finger off the trigger, it just itches ya know.” The lone wander said shrugging at her own remark.
“Now you want me to help you? Despite your black heart, you desire my protection. I see no reason for me to follow you on your dark path.” Cross glared at the lone wander anger and disappointment apparent feature on her face.
“O-don’t be like that I gave like two hundred purified waters to that homeless guy that is outside every town. See I’m good.” She flicked to her pipboy, confirming her status so far 235. The 'vault guarding' or it said on the screen.
Cross looked at her squinting her eyes before nodding. Delighted by her companion’s choice the lone wander quickly made head way out of the labs. she zipped down and out the various doors and rooms that made up the underground stations. Passing through the last set of doors she and star cross exited the building and entered the side yard.On the outer walls by the snipers nest she told star cross to wait. Smiling while giggling like a mad man she brought out a guilty pleasure. Now most say the fatman is a waste on human enemies and only to be used when exploring the Deathclaw sanctuary. She however disagreed with that thinking.
Taking a few choice steps back she positioned herself for the fireworks. Letting out a breath she pulled back the trigger letting a single mini nuke at star paladin cross.
A bright light blossomed forth casting dark black shadows on ever object and shivering despite the suns glaring shine. Shielding her eyes she tried her best to watch the reaction. A few seconds passed before letting it self fade to revile a scorched part of the cement ground her companion only recently stood.
Chuckling she holstered her weapon. Standing there she stood stock still formulating a several devious plan`s under the steel helmet of hers. This was a welcomed change of pace. yes what a better way to spice up her day.
Zecora breathed in the crisp air of the forest. She reveld in the wonders of the forest. Breathing out she continued on taking in the
various plants and animal across her path. only ocashenly she would drop down to adentifie a plant or root she needed for her brew.
a sharp snap of a tree branch out in the didtance brought her out of her trance. on the corner of her eye past a scurrying squirrel, a pony in worn silver armor trudged through plant`s and vines alike. Calling out her response remain unheeded, perhaps they didn't hear her or maybe didn't reconized her speech. What ever their reason she continued onward in her quest for plants for orders she needed this to fill this week. Who ever this visitor was she felt would make them selves present very soon.
