Price Of The Apple
Applejack, the appliest mare in Ponyville, let of a depressed sigh as she bucked the last tree of the day clear of the red fruit orbs known as apples. The apple mare gently picked up one of the apples and held it close to her ear; listening to the fruit tell her it's secrets before gently putting it back into the basket. Every since she became one with the apple Applejack felt wiser and more in tune with the apple orchard.
The apples loved her and she loved the apples in return.
But Applejack's heart was not at rest, no, because she had recently lost her best friend after she witnessed her apple rite three months ago. “F-Fluttershy...I miss you.” Applejack whispers sadly, gazing off towards the direction of Fluttershy's humble cottage. If she knew that by bringing Fluttershy along with her would of meant an end of their friendship she wouldn't of done it.
Applejack looked at a lone apple on the ground and gave it a frustrated kick, sending it flying. In her mind she heard the apple cry out in pain and sadness at Applejack's abuse. She, however, didn't care...she'd much rather of still had Fluttershy as her friend than to be one with the apple.
The orange mare sighs sadly, gazing once more towards the direction of Fluttershy's home. She continued to stare for several minutes before, finally, a spark lit up from deep inside her soul. She was going to run down to Fluttershy's house and win her friend back!
Applejack grinned widely and fixed her hat, “Flutters I'm comin'!” she says before running off in the direction of Fluttershy's cottage. The whole apple orchard cheered her on, singing Applejack's praises as she passes by the apples. “Thanks apples!” Applejack called out with a wide smile as she ran.
Fluttershy was relaxing in her home after a hard day's work of animal tending. Today was super busy seeing how she had to oversee Derpy Hooves' cat giving birth to a litter of five kittens. They were so adorable! The buttery mare giggled at the thought as she grabbed the novel she was currently reading, a steamy romance called 'Salty Lust; A Tale Of Drunken Sailor Debauchery'
Fluttershy let out a giggle and gently laid down on her sofa, feeling naughty for reading such a book. She quickly flipped to where she left off last time and began to read, blushing a bit at some parts. “Oh, I dunno, what do you do with a drunken sailor?” Fluttershy mused quietly, flipping the page as she begins to read the 'best part' of the story, the mare slipping a hoof between her legs, “M-mhm, o-oh...” she moans out before a very loud knocking comes from the front door.
Fluttershy 'eeps' in surprise and quickly pulls her hoof away and whips it on the sofa before hiding her book under the couch's cushion, “C-c-coming!” Fluttershy calls out weakly, a bright blush on her face .
Fluttershy nervously opened the door to see her ex friend who put apples in her butt.
“H-Howdy!” Applejack says, the nervousness in her voice quiet clear.
Fluttershy blinked a bit, “Um...hello?” she says, confused on why her ex friend was here.
Applejack shuffles her hooves in place a bit before speaking, “Fluttershy...I-I miss your friendship and I want it back.” Applejack says with a slight nod, looking down towards the ground.
The yellow mare just looks at Applejack for a few moments...the image of her friend shoving massive apples into the poo-poo hole still burned in her mind like something that burned. But, still, she felt like that she should at least hear her out. She did miss her friendship in many ways. “Well, um, c-come inside so we can talk.” Fluttershy says with a slight nod, opening the door wider and stepping said.
“Thanks.” Applejack tips her hat before trotting inside Fluttershy's home.
“Do you want anything to eat or drink?” Fluttershy ask.
“No, I'm alright...I ate some apple fritters not that long ago.” Applejack replied, giving a small nod.
Fluttershy turned her head and gagged a bit, remembering that Granny Smith made fritters out of Applejack's butt apples. “S-so, um, you wanted to talk?” Fluttershy says, turning back to face her friend.
“Y-yeah...listen, Fluttershy...if I knew that taking you to my apple rite would cause an end of our friendship I wouldn't of brought you.” Applejack says, sniffling a bit, “I-I just want to be friends again.” she adds.
“Listen, Applejack, you're a nice mare...b-but putting apples in your plothole is weird! Not Pinkie Pie weird or Zecora weird but...” Fluttershy pauses, “I-It's just really weird...s-sorry.” she finishes with a sigh.
Applejack sniffles a bit more with Fluttershy's words but nods, “I-I understand...b-but the apple rite has been in the apple family for over five hundred years! Y-you don't understand the magic behind the Fluttershy...t-the apples they can talk to me now and I can talk to them. I can make the trees yield increase just by asking them to!” Applejack explains, hoping that Fluttershy understands...at least just a little bit.
Fluttershy stares blankly at Applejack before shaking her head, sighing, “I-I think I heard enough.” she says, gently coaxing Applejack out the door, “L-listen...I-I'm sorry but I believe our friendship is over for good. I-It was great while it lasted though...honest!” she says before slowly beginning to shut the door.
Before she could shut the door all the way Applejack stuck her hoof in it, “W-what.” she says before leaning forward and giving Fluttershy a deep kiss on the lips, causing her to jump up in shock.
“W-what was that for?” Fluttershy ask, blushing deep crimson and shaking.
“Because I love you!” Applejack says with a wide smile.
Fluttershy raises a brow, “B-but you said you don't like mares...”
Applejack tenses up a bit, “U-um, well, I-I thought that it might help rebuild our friendship if we kissed.” she explains, rubbing the back of her neck.
“I-It doesn't work that way...s-sorry.” Fluttershy sighs, beginning to shut the door.
“W-wait! What if I let you taste my applebottom?” Applejack says franticly.
“W-what?” Fluttershy stops closes the door and blinks a few times in confusion.
“I'm talking about my applebottom!” Applejack says with a wry smile, turning around and bending over, spanking herself seductively, “'Dat applebottom.”
“N-no...j-just no...” Fluttershy shakes her head before closing the door quickly and locking it up tight.
Applejack turns around and looks at the door, tears welling up in her eyes as she lets out a few heavy sobs. She failed...their friendship was still gone. Sadly, the apple themed mare turned around and trotted back home, tears falling from her cheeks all the while.
