Harmony is lost. One thousand years ago, the Princesses were overthrown and the Elements of Harmony destroyed by an immortal known simply as The King. Magic has been outlawed, and technology has taken its place. Now, The King rules all of New Equestria from his tower in Neo-Canterlot.

Blue Ribbon is an upstanding student, her class' representative. She's a pegasus well on her way to a position in the most elite group of the army: The King's Guard.

Crimson Core is the new transfer student. He's a brilliant unicorn programmer, but unbeknownst to his classmates, he runs in darker circles that deal in magic.

His newest project is more ambitious than anything the world has ever seen, and to complete it, he enlists Blue Ribbon to assist him. When it's finally completed, the world will change in a way never before seen, and the pair must work together along with summoned allies to fix their mistake, and learn the truth about The King and the world he's created.

Inspired by Aya Nishitani's Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei, and the Shin Megami Tensei video game franchise, taking elements from various entries in the series.
