Body Jump

The six friends, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle crowded in Twilight's library. They watched her flip through the pages of her spell book. It had been given to her by Princess Celestia, as the label had said.

"Twilight," Rainbow Dash said in a bored tone. "Are you going to be ready anytime soon? Cause, y'know, patience is not always my thing..." Twilight looked up from the book and stared at her. She then resumed reading. Applejack and Rarity exchanged glances.

"Darling?" Rarity tried to get Twilight's attention. Twilight lowered the book slightly, and gave her a glance that said 'go on'."Well, me and Applejack thought, that you could call us when your finished looking for the -"

A large scream cut her off, "I've found it!" Twilight cried out, flapping her wings in joy. She then fell to the ground, and rubbed her aching hoof. She shrugged it off, and levitated the book in front of her with her magic. She walked to the table. She rested the book on a stand. "I'll have to reword it slightly, but here it goes," Twilight said, taking a deep breath.

"W - wait!" Fluttershy said in a small voice. "How do you know it isn't dangerous?"

"Oh don't worry," Twilight reassured Fluttershy. "It's a simple window spell, what could go wrong?" Twilight then took in another deep breath, and recited the spell words without interruption.

"Come to us, our elements, though we do not possess you,

Allow us to look through a window and see what cannot be seen,

To see, but not interfere, with a world like ours,

But different, so different, it is."

For a moment, nothing happened. The six friends exchanged glasses. Twilight opened her mouth to speak, when a window opened in front of them. But then that window starting stretching and pulling, it was so very strange. Fluttershy cowered back. Rainbow Dash took refuge in the corner. Applejack stood ready, incase anything came through. Twilight tried to reverse it and Rarity held her hat as close to her as possible. Suddenly, the window stopped stretching. It was a lot taller now, more like a... Door? Twilight called to the others to stay back. Twilight started to lose control of her body, stepping around in a dizzy state. She fell to the floor, just to see the others do the same. There was blackness. But then, something strange happened. They weren't on the floor anymore, they were standing up. Everything looked so much... Duller. All grey and sad.

"What ever did happen, Twilight?" Rarity asked, her voice echoey and distant.

"Guys, look below you..." Rainbow Dash said, her voice sounding the same as Rarity's. They all did, and where shocked at the sight. Their bodies were below them. They were all distraught. Applejack sighed. She noticed the window was the only colourful thing in the room. She said this out loud. A large sigh was heard from Rarity.

"My hat! It was decorated with the reddest rubies I could find!" She cried. Twilight, believing she knew what to do, marched into the window, realising it was a door. The others followed. As they entered, they found themselves in a swirling vortex. They ran through it, confused as to what to do. They came to the end. Pinkie Pie flew through the exit, and the others followed.

"GEROMINO!" Pinkie Pie's scream could be heard as she hopped through. They all smiled. Whatever danger would await them, it was for sure that they would be together.

The six spirits walked upon the red ground, angry, confused and sad muttering could be heard from them all. The sky was coloured orange, the sun hardly moving. They had been walking for hours.

"If only our bodies were here too.." Twilight said. They all agreed in sync. Suddenly, the world around them zoomed past into a blur, the blur becoming a path, path becoming walls until they finally stopped in the middle of the Royal Throne Room. Princess Celestia and Luna were in front of them. But they were so... Different. Luna was larger, more like Celestia. Celestia looked like the youngest. This definitely was strange.

"What are your affairs here, Elements of Chaos?" Princess Luna asked in a cold voice. The six friends glanced at each other.

"Elements... Of Chaos?" They chorused together  quite confused.
