The Life Of Midnight Luna

It's been almost a year since Midnight had gotten pregnant. Princess Luna took it hard but she has other getting the food for the kingdom since she had put Midnight on bed rest when she gotten bigger. It was hard for her to walk anywhere since she gotten so big, she didn't understand why she was so big. Today was the day she was told she was to give birth. Eyezic had the day off work, Princess Luna was already waiting at hospital, Eyezic woke up before Midnight. Midnight was sleeping when the Pegasus lifted her onto the stretcher. The Pegasus wish they could be there but they had practice with the ShadowBolts today. Ghost Ruby waited with Sony and Princess Luna at hospital. Midnight groaned in pain as Eyezic wheeled her into the hospital, every doctor came around her to ask what's wrong. Eyezic explained that she was going into labor. Midnight's eyes are closed as she is escorted into the room where she is going to give birth. "Midnight, we are going to numb you up so it will be easier to deliver your filly." one of the doctors said. The doctor gently poked a needle into her which numbed her fast.

"It's time." Midnight said and rolled onto her side. Moments later without warning she grabbed Eyezic and started to cry.

"What's wrong Midnight?" Eyezic said but than a couple of second later he heard a cry. The doctor told Midnight to push again, and she did. The doctor held a small filly in his hoofs, he gently wiped the filly of blood.

"Congratulations, it's a baby boy. He is also the first born alicorn. What would you like to name him?" the doctor asked. Midnight and Eyezic thought it over, whispering back and forth than Eyezic held him in his hoofs and smiled.

"Leon Cutler." Eyezic whispered and kissed the filly on the forehead. Midnight started to groan loudly. The doctor placed his hoof on Midnight's stomach.

"She's having another." the doctor informed everyone. There was a collective gasp from everypony. "Midnight, be careful. Push until you hear the cry and I will take care of the rest." he said. Midnight did as she was told and kept pushing until the little filly cried. The doctor pulled the little filly out and washed it up than Midnight sat up and the doctor laid the filly in her hands. "Welcome the first twin alicorns to the world. This one is a girl, what would you like to name her?"

"Lillian Waters." Midnight whispered as she kissed little girls forehead. The two fillies cried but the new parents laid them down into the little cribs and rocked them back and forth. Luna raised her horn and put a protection spell around them so only the parents could pick them up.

"Than are so beautiful, Congratulations you two." Ghost Ruby said and hugged Midnight. "I have to go home, it's getting late, I'll be back tomorrow to see how you guys are." She said. She walked out of the room and Sony walked in.

"Awwww." Sony said as he walked by the cribs, than hugged his mother, than he yawned as huge as can be.

"Guess it is time for us to head home. I will send Sony tomorrow to check on your guys." Princess Luna said. They walked out and shut the door behind them. Eyezic curled up in a chair next to Midnight. Midnight got up and showered in than laid in the clean new made bed that Eyezic made for her. She checked on the fillies than went to her bag and pulled out a lilly flower, she gave that one to Lillian. She pulled out a stuffed pair of wings and stuck it under Leon's hoofs. She curled up on the bed, she used her magic and shut off the light.

"Good morning everyone. Sweet dreams, I love you." Midnight said with a whisper.

The sun was just going down as Sony entered the room. The fillys cried by the new noise. Midnight woke up and used her magic to picked up the fillies and lay them on the bed. She rubbed their bellies. "Shhhh little fillies." Midnight whispered. "Welcome back Sony." Sony was carrying 5 balloons. He used his magic and tied one who each crib than one to Midnight's bed and than the next one two Eyezic's chair he was still asleep in.

"Hey sis, how are you feeling? Sony asked.

"I haven't slept much, had to feed the fillies in the middle of the night, haven't slept much since." Midnight said. "I don't think Eyezic is taking this well, maybe he is but isn't showing." Sony walked over to the bed.

"Wow they have a full mane already." Sony said softly. "Can I hold one?" He asked eagerly.

"Sit down so you don't drop him." Midnight said and Sony sat on the ground. Midnight put the fillies pillow by Sony than laid the Filly into Sony's hoofs. Sony laughed and played with the little filly. Midnight used her magic to do Lilly's mane and puts two chopsticks to hold her mane up, than putting a mane-tie in her tail. She looked beautiful. She started to cry.  "Hush little filly don't you cry, mommy is going to buy you the whole wide world." Midnight sang softly and brought the bottle close to her mouth and the young filly began to drink. Midnight smiled and brushed a stray piece of her mane out of her eyes.

"Wow you sing so wonderfully." Sony said.

"Thanks." Midnight replied and blushed. Sony rocked little Leon back and forth keeping him from waking his father. Eyezic woke up and yawned. He kissed Midnight's cheek. "How did you sleep Eyezic?"

"I slept alright, where is the little man?" Eyezic said.

"I got him." Sony said. He used his magic to lift Leon up and set him into his hoofs. Eyezic held him and rocked him gently. Eyezic lifted Leon's wings toy and gently laid it into the little filly's arms.

"Look at  all these balloons Sony brought." Eyezic said. Midnight got up and said she'd be right back. She stretched her wings and flew off the bed and landed on the floor next to the door. She walked out of the door and stopped dead in her tracks. She may not know much about her birth parents but she knew the pony when she stepped foot out of the door.

"Lillian." Midnight said. She walked up close to her. Midnight scowled at her.

"There you are! I heard you were having a filly and wanted to come see." Lillian said.

"I don't want to see you, you abandoned me when I was just little. I don't want you to ever come back to the New Lunar Empire, ever again." Midnight said.

"I-" Lillian started.

"I don't care. I don't want you near my children." Midnight said even though she secretly longed for a hug from her, just to be normal but yet she loved her life. Midnight made sure that Lillian left the hospital than she walked around until she found the nursery. She looked inside and admired the other little ponies around. She looked from the unicorns to the Pegasus to the earth ponies. She wondered what it would be like to be normal, not to have this war between the Empires. Princess Luna had mentioned about a war upcoming. Midnight wanted to be home ready for the war so she could fight and have Eyezic watch the kids but she knew that she would be the one watching the fillies because Eyezic would want to protect her and the kids. She could die if she fought in the war. She was willing to fight in the war and possibly die protecting her kingdom. Midnight walked outside and stretched her wings and took off. She flew to the castle and went inside. She itched the band from the hospital on her hoof. Midnight walked into the thrown room to see her mother sitting there. "Mom, I want to fight in the war. I don't care the risks. I will fight for our kingdom. This is where I have grown up all my life and this is who I want to fight for. Please let me fight." Midnight pleaded.

"Midnight, you cannot fight in this war as you have just had children." Princess Luna said. Angrily Midnight walked out of the castle and flew back to the hospital. She walked into the room and she realized that she spent awhile flying to the castle and back that it was already sun light. Everypony was asleep, she used her magic and put Sony into a chair and put both of the little fillies into the cribs and gently rocked them back and forth until she got to tired. She curled up into the bed and pulled the blanket over her. She used her magic to lay blankets over the fillies, Eyezic and Sony. Midnight turned off the light and fell asleep.

The war was raging outside, the fire was blazing hot as could be. The little fillies were crying loud. Midnight had run out of ideas how to clam them down. She put them into their crib and rocked it back and forth gently trying to keep them calm. She called for Ghost Ruby to watch the fillies. Ghost Ruby watched them as Midnight ran out of the room. Midnight through on some armor and grabbed a long spear and fassigned it to her armor. She ran outside and looked for any pony wearing Solar Empire than started to jab them one by one. She didn't care if they had a family at this point. She slaughter pony after pony, the blood getting all over her armor. Midnight saw Eyezic laying on the ground, she ran to him and laid her horn onto him and pressed life into his body. He got up and coughed. "Thank you mystery Stallion." Eyezic whispered gently than ran off into the blazing heat. It didn't occur to Midnight that she looked like a stallion with the raging heat. She ran at the next pony with the Solar Empire armor and brought them to the ground. Midnight didn't fear the world anymore she just started going after anypony and everypony who held the arms of the Solar Empire.

Midnight woke up in the middle of the day sweating all over. She looked around and decided that she was just having a daymare. She got up with a yawn and check on the little fillies. She gently put their toys up against their bodies holding them upwards. They smiled at her than Midnight got back into the bed and curled up with the blanket slowly falling back into sleep.

Back at the castle Luna was preparing the rooms for the new family to come home. She even brought them home a surprise for them. She went to the pet store and got a little kitten. The kitten would run around the new room and pounce on the pillows. Princess Luna would send Hot Chocolate who makes her favorite hot cocoa in the morning to her so she had something sweet to wake up to..
