She had long since rid her world of any lower race, she had made the world a pony paradise, but then she wanted more, and turned her attention to the chaotic humans, a true challenge. Celestia was strolling through her garden, once again admiring the work of her gardeners, most of which were newfoals, she admired the determination they showed, at first her subjects were cautious of the newfoals, but that soon faded to long lasting friendship, the only difference was that the newfoals had an unparalleled determination when it came to a task. All these things ran through the Princess' head as she walked about the garden, she always had a wandering mind, but it only seemed to effect her in her spare time. "Princess, we have news," A voice stated, startling her momentarily. "Yes, what is it?" She asked in her kindest voice, she didn't like business on free time. "We have received reports that the humans in North America have been pushed back to their last state, Texas," The pegasus guard in golden armor reported, standing near an armored human statue. "My this is wondrous news, and what is the report of Japan," She felt her mood brighten, even if the next bit were to be bad. "Half the island is now occupied by our forces, the impenetrable island is no more," The guard spoke, with some happiness leaking into his voice. "Thank you for these wonderful reports Private Valor," both the Princess and the guard bowed, and then went off to continue about their business,"Hmm what a wonderful day," She sighed as she walked. "Indeed," A smooth voice called from next to her, catching her attention, she looked to her left and saw a mismatched character drinking tea and watching her. "How?! How did you get free?!" The princess took a defensive stance as she charged a spell. "Calm down there, you wouldn't want to free me from my statue would you?" Discord held up a claw. "What do you mean, you already are free," She took a step forward, threatening him with the spell, he didn't even budge. "No, no, what you see here is only a projection, I still sit here, wrapped in stone," He hadn't shown any change in behavior or stance, he just sat there, drinking his tea. "What is it you want," Celestia felt her mood dip right into anger. "To warn you," Discord still showed no emotion, he just poured himself another cup of teapot. "Warn me of what?" She tilted her head slightly. "Of the clusterfuck headed this way," He said, "There was a reason I never wanted to tell you the Reality connection spell." "As I remember it, you squealed like a pig," She had a twisted smirk on her face. "You didn't let me finish talking though," He showed a look of irritation for a split second. "And what is it you would say," The sun spirit held a threatening gaze. "That you will not go unnoticed," Discord finished eating his tea. "Unnoticed? By what? The humans already noticed us," She had a bad taste on her tongue when she said 'human.' "The humans are the least you need to worry over, there are unfathomable threats that approach," His eyes narrowed at her. "Unfathomable? what good would they be against me? I am a god," She stuck her head in the air and spread her wings, getting a pride high. "You are but a spirit, and these are what even creators fear," Discord involuntarily shivered. "You speak like you have face them before," Celestia turned her head in suspicion. "I met one, only one, and I stood no chance," Discord sat with a hardened gaze, "I escaped using the very limit of my magic, and I only escaped because it had other things to do." "You are weak, this only proves how weak you are," Celestia smirked at her own comment. "Get off your high chariot Celestia, I am only trying to warn you of what is to come," Discord then hung his head, "But if you refuse to listen, then you will just have to suffer at the hands of Jos......." Discords' projection had faded, leaving a steaming Sun princess, who turned and walked away from the statue, and failed to notice that it was just a shell, the occupant long gone. "Princess! our Astronomers ask to see you!" A voice caught her attention, this couldn't be good. =========================================================================== Texas The frontier base in Wichita Texas was swarming with activity, they had not yet seen the pony front, but they were going to be prepared, that is until the President got the news. "Mr. President, we have some unusual news." A general walked into the meeting room, saluted before pulling a tablet from under his arm, " Astronomers at black tower report an odd occurrence between our planet and the enemies planet." "Is it something they created?" The president, Marcus Davens asked. "No sir, it looks as though they are just as confused as we are," He handed the President his tablet, the image contained on the screen depicted an empty space between both worlds, Marcus stared at it, and for some reason it made him feel empty just looking at it. "This.... this is..... empty," He couldn't quite grasp why he felt so empty, "are you sure this is not a black hole?" "Sir, many of the Astronomers and scientists agree, they scanned it and found that it gives off nothing, in fact it shows that the area it is in does not exist,at first they thought it was a black hole, but it seemed too controlled, and it just makes everyone feel......void," the General tried his best to describe it. "Will this be any danger to us or them," He handed back the tablet. "It shows no sign of activity or movement, but we are being careful, just in case," the General closed his tablet before looking back at the president, "sir, this seems to be something we may not want to tamper with." "Agreed, just keep me posted on any changes," The president said. "Yes sir," The General saluted and walked off, leaving the President and some other commanders to discuss the plan for the coming pony threat, but Marcus could not get the image of the empty spot out of his head, it plagued his thoughts, it filled him with emptiness, and got him thinking more deeply into it, 'The Void.' In the Astronomy lab sat the top Astronomer, Mizamera Andrews, watching the empty spot in space, monitoring it for any sign of activity, and scanning it for any sign of existing, but her thoughts were sucked into it, she found it very distracting, "M'am." She jumped out of her skin and turned to the voice owner in a defensive stance, who happened to be the general, "Oh, sorry General, what is it you needed?" "The President wants you to track and monitor the....void spot," She noticed how he flinched as he said it. "Can do," She waved and returned to the monitor, watching the void spot, letting it seep into her soul, corrupting her as she watched for hours, each passing unlike the last. "Still watching the spot huh?" A voice asked, this time she didn't even flinch, she just turned and looked at the speaker, another Astronomer. "Yes, I have to monitor it for activity," she said, almost sounding like she was a machine, the Astronomer noticed that she seemed a bit empty, almost soulless, so he backed away and went about his other duties, " predictable." She turned and watched the monitor again, it wasn't too long before she saw the void flash, no one else would have seen it but her, she pondered what it meant as the void seemed to have changed, "Should I tell them?........Nah." ================================================================ Canterlot astronomy tower After making it to the observatory, Princess Celestia had found out that there was an odd anomaly, a void spot in space, and it made her feel like nothing, almost worthless. "The humans are not responsible for this?" She asked, turning to her head astronomer. "No ma'am, but whatever it is, doesn't exist," He said, sparing few glances to the void spot. "What? What is that supposed to mean," Celestia almost lost it over that, for all her years of experience, she had never encountered something that never existed. "All magical scans and magic probes report that it does not exist," The astronomer was nervous, he didn't want the princess to be mad. "Alright, keep an eye on it and make sure to report any changes," The princess turned and began a long walk to her chambers for some much needed cake. "Yes princess," The astronomer and several others nearby saluted, the only one who didn't was the astronomer who was monitoring the void spot, and he was keeping something from the others. ==================================================================== The void spot (http://www.deviantart.com/art/Black-Hole-Sun-76884123) The void spot, which was now stable, began to grow, not like a black hole, or a white hole, but a gate to the void. Out of it came a force, not the force, or a force of good and evil, but a force of nature, a perfect people, an army of the unstoppable, which would make the flood quake in fear. Out came ships (http://www.deviantart.com/art/clear-skies-179534085) unlike anything reality bound, and around them were creations of a perfect master, the one who found perfection. Joshua Tiken
