The means of war may have changed: from bone and rock, to steel and lead, to killer robots and orbital death beams, but the end's all the same. Death. Destruction. After the megaspells hit, ponies survived through means of underground bunkers called stables, and when they emerged they came across many a pre-war artifact: books, buildings, corpses, even a robot with enough firepower to take down a small country.
