Shining And Cadence
A Month After The Wedding
Load Full StoryShining got up out of bed to go to work. His job was building and repairing weaponry, armor and more for the Royal Guards. Cadence was still in bed. It was only a month after they got married, and the best wedding gift they had gotten was the house from Princess Celestia. It was 2 floors of the castle, which left the Princesses and other guests 13 more floors. The bed was beautiful, they're kitchen was amazing, everything was just so good. Shining packed up some armor templates for the guards. These were newer ones, though. Made of solid gold, which was the most common ore in Canterlot.
Shining was just about to leave the house and castle to go to Unicorn Lane, 3 miles away from there, when suddenly he heard a voice. "See ya later." It was his wife. "See you later, Cadence." he smiled and left through the door. Man she looked bad that day.
3 HOURS LATER
Shining got a message from her sister in Ponyville. He was on his lunch break, happily chewing at some fruit. The message read:
Dear Shining Armour,
Just your sister Twilight, checking if everything is okay. Sorry about how long the wedding present took to get to you, the Ponyville Shipping is horrible. The present should be at your door in a couple of days. Hope you and Cadence enjoy! Oh, and one other thing, ask Princess Celestia if she can send me a spell to fix Spikes messaging magic. It's gone haywire, and whenever he tries to send it, it just burns into ashes.
From,
Twilight Sparkle
Shining wondered what the present was. Maybe some money, clothes, new armor templates, he didn't know. "SHINING!" called his boss. It was Cadence's grandfather, who was a Pegasus pony. He looked really young, that's for sure. "Yes, Calico?" Calico Fire. That was his name. He molded the armor with fire, which was the color of a calico colored cat. No wonder they called him "Calico Fire". "Get over here! I need to talk to you." "Yes, sir?" "Don't call me sir. I'm in your family now, just call me Calico. Anyways, what I was going to ask you is, well, is Cadence feeling well? I've been noticing she's looked... pale lately. Anything you know of?" "Um, no, actually. I've noticed too, but when I ask her all she says is that she's feeling completely fine. I think something's wrong too, though." Shining replied. "Well, can you try to find out? I'm really worried, and don't want anything bad to happen to her. Thanks, though." Calico trotted away through the building. He was going to find out, no matter what it took.
Authors Note: Sorry for the short chapter, I ran out of idea's at that point, and don't have much time to write right now, anyways. Thanks for reading the first chapter!
