The Nightmare, The Changeling, The King, And The Draconequus
Discord sighed, shifting positions in Angel's favorite couch for the tenth time in the last fifteen minutes.
"Fluttershy, it is quite boring just sitting around here. May I have another one of those delicious peanut butter cookies?"
Fluttershy nodded, her expression blank as she got up from her green chair she had been sitting on and reading the magazine 'Animals, Pets, And All The Things You'll Love' and walked into the kitchen.
She stood on her tippy-hooves, attempting to reach the top cabinet where she had placed the jar of peanut butter cookies.
She had put them in the top cabinet to ensure that Discord wouldn't sneak a few behind her back while she wasn't looking, and thankfully it had worked so far.
The attempt to reach them was a fail, so she opened one of the bottom cabinets that were beneath the sink and pulled out a stepping-stool.
The stool wobbled as she put her weight onto her back legs, the cookie jar was just inches out of her grasp as she stretched as far as she could possibly go.
Fluttershy grunted as she attempted to stretch higher, eventually the stool gave out beneath her and she tumbled to the ground.
"Ouch.." Fluttershy exclaimed quietly and timidly as she got back on all floors, then called out, "Discord, I could use your help, if that's okay with you."
Discord, who had been uncomfortably switching positions on the couch for the past few minutes, got up out of his couch and stretched his arms, yawning.
"Okay, dearest Fluttershy. I'll be there in a moment."
With that, he stumbled lazily into the kitchen, yawning one last time before looking down at the small pony before him.
"What ever do you need help with, friend?" Discord asked, trying to hide his bitter sarcasm in his tone of voice.
Fluttershy pointed a hoof to the cookie jar up above, "I can't reach it. Would you help?"
Discord's eyes widened, and curled his bottom lip hurtfully. "So there's where you've been hiding the peanut butter cookies?"
He huffed, then with a blink of an eye and a white blur, he turned into a small version of himself and said with a high-pitch version of his usual voice, "How is somedragon as small and helpless as me supposed to reach all the way up there?"
Fluttershy groaned, "Discord, please, this is no time for playing ga-"
Discord then turned back to his usual size, and huffed once again. "I'm leaving to go for a walk, don't bother to come find me if I don't come back by nightfall."
Before Fluttershy could protest, Discord was out the door.
"Oh dear.."
Discord walked down the path to the Ponyville Park, and whenever he walked past a pony he earned a frightened stare from them.
He sighed as he sat down onto a green park bench, no filly or colt was playing in the park today due to school.
It sure is quite boring when there is no foal around here to cause chaos and mischief with... he thought to himself as he shifted positions in the green bench.
The park swings were made of crystals and scrap leather, reminding Discord of one of his old buddies from Villain Kindergarten
"He always did love crystals, it's a shame Fluttershy and her friends had too turn him into shadow." He thought aloud, frowning.
Within minutes, he had drifted off to sleep in the green park bench.
"Hmm? Where am I?" Discord asked as he rubbed his eye with his claw.
Twilight appeared out of nowhere, grinning evilly. "Sic 'em, girls!" She yelled, pointing an accusing hoof at Discord.
The five ponies along with Twilight who were wearing their Element's charged towards him, and he panicked.
"No, wait!" Discord screamed as the six unleashed their Element's onto him and his body began to turn to stone.
"That ought to do it." Twilight said, dropping her Element of Harmony crown onto the floor and walking away, motioning for her friends to follow her.
Discord attempted to scream for help, but it was no use. The stone prison muted all of his screams to the outside world. "Please, help! Somepony! Anypony!"
Discord awoke, and sat up quickly in the green park bench he had fallen asleep on.
"Oh thank Celestia.." He said, relieved. "It was just a nightmare."
Nightmare.. where have I heard of that before? He thought, tapping his hoof to his chin.
Discord leaned his head against the side of the bench, trying his best to keep his eyes open.
Shortly after a few more minutes, a pair of two ponies walked into the park, holding hooves.
The pair reminded him of an old friend, what was her name? He thought. trying to recall the pet name he had given her.
Chri.. Chryssi? Yes, that was it. Chryssi.
He sighed, all of his old friends had been defeated by those annoying ponies..
There must be a way to fix this.. He thought, standing up from the bench.
Then it came to him.
"I'm Discord, the God of Chaos! I can do anything I want, anytime I want."
With that, he snapped his fingers three times.
Making ponies, or, in this case, living creatures appear was more of a challenge than making a simple flower pot appear, so he had to focus all of his strength into his magic.
His magic was different from Unicorn magic, since he didn't have a horn, his magic was stored inside of him.
Most Unicorn's magic' is stored in their head, only giving them a tiny bit of magic per Unicorn.
But since his magic was stored in his stomach, it was free to flow all throughout his body, giving his magic inexpiable strength.
This was the same for each and every Draconequus, but it was rare to see a Draconequus roaming around Equestria.
After minutes of concentrating, three flashed of light appeared, each shaped into different creatures.
One was tall with a long black horn and holes in the hooves, but the other one was the same size with unusual wings.
There also was one that was the size of a full grown normal pony, but a purple steam was coming from its eyes.
The flashes of light dimmed, revealing the faces of the three shapes.
"Discord?!" They each shouted at once, confused.
Discord laughed evilly, along with an evil grin, and said, "Yes, no need to thank me."
Nightmare Moon walked up to him, and put the tip of her hair onto his chin.
"Why did you bring us back here?" She growled, gritting her teeth.
Discord used his magic to teleport up to a nearby tree, shrinking into the size of a small newborn foal.
"Well, you see, I'm living with Fluttershy now and--"
""You betrayed us?!" Chrysalis shouted at him, stomping a hoof to the ground.
Discord frowned, then changed back to his usual size.
"No! No no no no no. I did not betray you,"
"Then explain why you're living with the ones who defeated us in the first place!" Nightmare Moon shouted, rising her muzzle into the air.
Discord laughed hysterically, "Oh, you guys actually thought that I was on their side?! Not in a million years!"
King Sombra rolled his eyes, and opened his mouth to speak but Chrysalis spoke before he could.
"What do you want with us, Discord?"
Discord's small frown grew into another evil grin, "Maybe we could do what us villains do best."
"Get defeated then got banished to the moon for the second time?" Nightmare Moon huffed, crossing her forelegs.
Discord put his claw to his forehead, sighing. "Yes, that does seem to be a pattern." He agreed. "But, if we work together, I bet that Twilight Sparkle and her friends' don't stand a chance!"
Chrysalis rolled her eyes, "Discord, those ponies beat me when I had a whole army. We stand no chance with just the four of us."
"Yes, Chryssi, but you and your army were only attacking one place." He took out a giant map of Equestria and placed it floating in the air. "If each of us take a different place of Equestria all at once, they won't stand a chance."
He then took out a graph of the Elements of Harmony from his invisible pocket,
"The Elements of Harmony only work if all six of their barriers are using them at the same time in the same place, but if we each take a different part of Equestria, it would take all of Equestria to take part to stop us."
Nightmare Moon walked up to Discord and patted him on the back with the tip of her flowing night-sky colored mane,
"Wow, Discord. I've never expected you to think that much."
Discord ignored the mare, then made the giant map of Equestria go blank.
"Now, here's our plan for world domination." He said, pointing his hoof at the map and using a red crayon to scribble words.
"Chrysalis, you overthrow Celestia and Luna at Canterlot with what remains of your Changeling army."
He scribbled a tower that looked similar to the Canterlot Castle, and a stick pony of Chrysalis and tiny dots with long sticks for bodies as the Changelings.
He moved over to another spot of the paper, and said,
"Sombra, it's your job to take over the Crystal Empire and capture the Crystal Ponies as well as Cadence and Shining Armor."
Sombra silently shook his head in agreement.
Discord scribbled a circle and a wide stick for the body and tiny dots that were tied up in chains representing Crystal Ponies, and the Crystal Castle.
He moved up higher on the map, drawing the moon and a night sky.
"Nightmare Moon, it's your job once Chrysalis is done overthrowing Celestia and Luna to raise the moon in the sky."
Nightmare Moon shook her head, "Wait, what are you going to be doing?" She asked suspiciously.
Discord's smile widened, instead of an evil smile it was playfully foalish smile,
"I'll take care of Ponyville and the Elements of Harmony. I'll take them and hide them before Celestia even knows what's coming for her."
Discord smirked, then caught his breath before speaking again.
"Let's begin."
"Wait, wait wait." Chrysalis interrupted, stepping in front of King Sombra and Nightmare Moon. "I just got back from being banished to a land that I didn't even know existed, and you expect me to get back to work now?"
Nightmare Moon huffed, "She's right. We, at least I, deserve a full night of rest before we go off on another epic adventure trying to take over all of Equestria. Raising the moon simply drains all of my strength, and I don't think I can hardly lift a muscle."
Discord flew up, barely flapping his wings when he was in mid-air and crossed his forelegs.
"Fine," He said hurtfully, "You can stay with me and Fluttershy. But you must lie and pretend that you went to the good side if you want her to ever let you stay."
Nightmare Moon laughed evilly, her mane twirling wildly.
"Oh, Discord, dear. We're villains, lying is what we do best."
