Chapters Yesterday Twilight's friends became alicorns and today is a new day which Twilight will use to salve this problem.
There was a knock at the door, and Twilight trotted down the stairs. She opened the door to let her friends in. Twilight gasped. they were back to normal. "Girls, this is getting weird now. What happened?" Twilight asked, still half shocked.
"We don't know. We went to bed alicorns, and we woke up normal." Applejack explained.
"Twilight, did you cast a spell to make us normal again?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"No I didn't." Twilight said flipping through the book that gave her the spell.
"Well something must have happened dear." Rarity said.
"We want to be alicorns again." Pinkie Pie said.
This caused Twilight to stop flipping the pages of the book and turn around. "You...you do?" Twilight was now in full shock, were these really her friends? Did she hear wrong?
"Well... we don't if, you don't want us to." Fluttershy spoke up.
Twilight still stood in shock. When Twilight could get herself to think she smiled. Her friends smiled back. Twilight looked at the book and thought.
Twilight looked at the spell over and over again, but couldn't figure out why one dat they are alicorns and the next day they are normal again. Twilight was sure to find the answer.
Wile Twilight looked over the book, her friends talked about why they liked being alicorns.
Twilight still couldn't find the answer. She walked up to her balcony to get some fresh air. Twilight was working hard in her mind, or maybe just working too hard.
"I don't know what to do." Twilight said still thinking about the spell.
"You are trying a bit hard Twilight." A voice said.
Twilight looked around to see Princess Celestia. "Hello Princess Celestia." Twilight said with discouragement.
The Princess wrapped a wing around Twilight. "I know you are trying Twilight. But you need to remember what your book said,This spell will give the ones closest to your heart, their Destinies For A Day. " Celestia said.
Twilight looked up at the Princess. "You are right. Destinies For A Day ." Twilight finally under stood. "Thank you Princess." Twilight said. Twilight ran down the stairs to the library and Celestia left.
"Girls!" Twilight yelled. "I understand now." Twilight continued.
"Understand what dear?" Rarity asked.
"The spell that I cast was called, Destinies For A Day ." Twilight explained.
"So, it was only supposed to be for a day?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Yep." Twilight replied.
"Can yall make us alicorns again?" Applejack asked.
Twilight shook her head and said, "Don't worry girls, remember that one day you will have your Destinies Forever."
The sun beamed through the window that morning to find a alicorn and a dragon, sound asleep. Twilight yawned and sat up. "Well, I guess it's time to get up then." Twilight said. She quietly walked past Spike in his bed and trotted downstairs to her library.
"Mmm, let me see. That goes there, and this goes here." Twilight said as she sorted her books.
Just then Spike came down the stairs. "Morning Twilight." He said.
"Good morning." Twilight replied.
Twilight shuffled books in the bookcase around to get them strait. "Spike, I don't think that we have any more quills." Twilight said as she looked through the quill drawer. "I'm going to go to the quill store, ok Spike. Can you sort some books wile I'm gone, please?" Twilight asked.
"Sure Twilight." Spike replied. Twilight trotted out the door. Spike knew how to put the books in alphabetical order. So he went from, A, to B, from B, to C, from C, to D. At D, he found a book, it was called, Alicorns' Special Magic Spells . "Weird, I've never seen this book before." He said. Spike sat the book aside, and continued his sorting.
"I'm back!" Twilight announced as she entered the library.
Spike sat with the book that he had set aside in his bed. "Twilight, look!" He said. Spike had been flipping through the book since he finished his sorting.
Twilight walked upstairs. "What is it Spike?" She asked. Twilight saw Spike looking through the book. "Spike, what are you doing?" Twilight asked.
"I've never seen this book before. Is it new?" Spike asked Twilight. Twilight nodded.
"Yes Spike, it is new." Twilight answered.
"Look at this spell Twilight, it's called, Destinies For A Day ." Spike said as he pointed to the spell in the book. Twilight took the book and looked at the spell.
Yes Spike, but, what does it do? I haven't even read this far." Twilight said.
"I want to see what it does." Spike said with excitement.
Twilight shook her head. "Spike, I won't cast the spell if I don't know what it does." Twilight said looking at the book.This spell will give the ones closest to your heart, their Destinies For A Day.
Twilight decided to cast the spell, and nothing happened. "Well that was weird." Twilight said.
"Aw, I though that it would do something cool." Spike said with a disappointed tone.
That night, Twilight tucked Spike in his bed. She was tiered after casting that spell, even though nothing seemed to happen.
The next morning, Twilight was awoken by the sound of loud knocking on her door. "I'm coming!" Twilight yelled as she trotted down the stairs.
"Yes." Twilight said as she opened the door. It was all five of her friends. "Girls, whats going on?" Twilight asked.
"Twilight, sugarcube, we didn't mean to wake yall up, but could we please come in?" Applejack asked.
"Sure." Twilight said.
All the friends came in, Twilight closed the door and looked at her friends. Twilight gaped, they were all alicorns!!!
Twilight couldn't believe the sight before her. "You guys, are...Alicorns!!" Twilight yelled.
"Yep, it would seen so darling." Rarity replied.
"This is...AWESOME!" Pinkie Pie screamed.
"Yeah, it is pretty cool." Rainbow Dash replied.
Twilight was stunned, she just couldn't believe it. "Girls, how did this happen?" Twilight asked.
"We all went to sleep normal and woke up like, this." Applejack explained.
Twilight took down some notes, hoping that they would help. Then Twilight remembered the spell that she had preformed the yesterday. "Girls, I think that this is all my fault." Twilight confessed.
"Come on Twilight, don't be like that. We actually kind of like being alicorns." Rainbow Dash said.
Twilight was shocked. "You...you do?" Twilight asked. The girls nodded, and Pinkie Pie stepped toward Twilight.
"Hey Twilight, why don't you teach us how to use magic?" Pinkie Pie suggested.
"Not a bad idea, Pinkie." Twilight replied.
Rarity and Twilight, stood beside each other read to teach the others magic. "All right. Each of you have book in front of you. The first spell that you use, is a Levitation Spell." Twilight explained.
"Now girls, you need to concentrate on the book. In your minds picture the book lifting into the air." Rarity explained.
When Rarity finished speaking, the books were lifted into the air. Applejack had the book in front of her being held with green magic.
"Well done girls." Twilight said as the four set their books down.
"You did very well for beginners." Rarity said.
One by one, the girls left. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were going to teach some flying. Twilight knew how to fly, so she didn't joint in.
Twilight was getting board. Twilight trotted outside. looking around, Twilight saw Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and the other girls under Rainbow Dash's house. Twilight giggled as Pinkie Pie did two flips in the air and then landed on her head. Twilight walked over and sat down. "Twilight, incoming!" Rainbow Dash yelled as Rarity came flying toward her.
"Oh n-omph!" Twilight yelled as Rarity hit Twilight.
"Oh my! Are you ok darling?" Rarity asked the purple and now dazed alicorn.
"Yes, I'm ok. I think." Twilight replied, rubbing her head.
Twilight returned to the library. She read some books and wrote a letter to the Princess.
Dear, Princess Celestia
Today I learned that even though you may do something and then think it was wrong, doesn't mean it actually was and sometimes you need a friend to help you see it. Also, you may know that yesterday I preformed a spell. It turned my friends into alicorns. Please help me to know what to do.
