I am the wind, blowing slowly, lightly through the warm summer breeze. I put flow into the emptiness of the air, making it feel like a mid-spring day. The cattails bow to me, but the trees stand tall, proudly waving their branches in my presence. I am calm and gentle, for nobody runs from me like they do when the storm clouds arrive. No one questions why I am here, I just am. I bend the corn stalks, and howl in the midst of the night. I am lonely, yearning for a friend, but I am alone. I am fine this way, I am a solo breeze, blowing into the heat like a gentle breath upon your bare skin. I own the air, and control the rest. I am the wind, blowing slowly, lightly through the warm summer breeze.
