Discord had grown bored.

Oh, so bored.

He decided to bother Celestia, who did not take kindly to his bothersome antics. But when Discord offers a proposal Celestia can't push away, they gather the rulers of all the respective lands, where Discord starts his little chess game.

The one who would win Discord's little game, would receive a huge amount of reality warping magic.

Now Celestia and Luna morbidly enter their own pawns into the competition, for if the other nations obtained power, who knew what they would do with it?

Now the Elements of Harmony, the Royal Guard and 'randomly' selected ponies must compete in Discord's game.

Second Life

A game taking place in a whole new reality, almost like a game. But you could still feel pain, where at first it's all fun and games, then they learn that the other nations might take over Equestria, where they begin to become serious. But it doesn't end there.

Discord has created his own race, composed of genetically empowered duplicate creatures, who feed off of negative emotion, to create their owns beings, who also enter the fray as Discord's own legion.

The goal of the game?

Destroy the other races, and come back victorious from the war.
