CHAPTER 4: Trouble in Paradise

Author's Note: Rendering out last parts of a game playthrough, at midnight, with coffee and Skrillex? Yeah, I think I'm going to have a pretty good night tonight. Better than last night...That was the equivalent of shooting myself in the foot. Might rant later in a blog post, whateves. Anyway, enjoys!

Ezio was snapped out of his high on life when the scream came from inside the boutique. He reacted fast and got onto his hind legs and jumped to get hold of a windowsill. He climbed up and started to climb for the top, for that's where the screams came from.

Once he got to the window he looked in, he saw a black and red stallion attacking a white unicorn, much like Vinyl but with purple hair instead of blue. Ezio wasted no time and smashed through the window, standing tall and menacing in his robes. “Leave the lady alone...”

The stallion turned and smirked. “Ohhh, a tough guy! What are you gonna do? Shower me with money you stupid rich sunnuva..” He then saw Ezio rear back on his hind legs and the blades slowly fall out of their sheaths.

“Awww, looks like the big man brought some toys! Well, blades or not I'll still kick the shit out of- OOF!” A yellow and black blur shot across the room and made contact with the black stallion, sending him flying into the wall. The blur happened to be a yellow and black pegasus with red eyes.

The pegasus stood in front of Ezio and he turned to face him. “Beat the buck outta him..” He said with a smirk. Ezio chuckled and walked over to the black stallion, cracking his neck and bringing his hoof up and bringing it down on the stallion's face. He repeated this over and over until the stallion was barely conscious. Ezio got off of him and the stallion stood, and stumbled out of the door.

The next thing that happened caught Ezio totally off guard. He was tackled by the white pony that was being attacked and started getting hugged. “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” She planted her lips firmly on Ezio's and this made him go wide eyed. She cried as she kissed him, and soon pulled from him and hugged on him some more. “If you hadn't had been here, I don't know what that brute might have done!”

“What's done is done..You are safe miss...”

“Rarity...Oh, thank you for saving me darling!”

“Well, I didn't do it all..” He looked over at the yellow pegasus who just stood there with a smile on his face. “What are you smiling at?”

“Oh, you two...You look so cute together.” Rarity and Ezio started to turn beet red at his comment and this got a chuckle out of the yellow pegasus. “Are you alright Rarity? That guy hurt you?”

“No but he was about to if you two hadn't been here to save me! Thank you...Oh I'm sorry darling, I didn't get your name!” Rarity turned towards Ezio who was still blushing under his hood.

“Ezio madam...Ezio Auditore...I am a noble from out of town..” She went wide eyed and started to try and fix up her mane.

“Oh! A noble! I'm so sorry you had to come in and witness this sir..” Ezio put up a hoof for her to stop.

“You do not need to look your best for me. I am only here for some new clothing. Where I'm from, it is normal for the civilians to wear clothing. But, it does not seem that way here. I just need something less...Flashy...And a bit brighter than black and gray if you have it. Plus, I really enjoy hoods. If you could add one to the mix, it would be appreciated.”

“I will get right on that order darling! It will be free of charge from me after all you had to go through. I just need to know where you are staying currently..”

“I live with uhh...Craimer Xegen I guess..” This made Rarity stop and stare at him with a confused look.

“You live with Jace and Vinyl Romero? Well, that makes sense that you wear clothes now. You're not a noble at all!”

Ezio sighed. “Yes, that is a lie I make up for the common folk to not be suspicious about my strange name..” He looked into her eyes with a deadpan expression. “I am from Earth...” This made Rarity even more confused than before.

“Then..Shouldn't you be a human, darling?”

“I guess getting a second chance from Death doesn't do that. I was like this when I came here.” She nodded.

“I know who Jace is; and others do as well.” Now it was Ezio's turn to be confused.

“Others?”

“The other Elements of Harmony! Did he leave that part out?” A slow nod came from Ezio's head. “Well, me and five other ponies in Ponyville are what's called the Elements of Harmony. There are six in total; Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Loyalty and Magic. I represent Generosity. My five other friends represent the others.”

“That must explain the reason of your eternal life then...”

“Yes, it is rather marvelous! I get to make fashion the way I see it in the future! I think it's just grand.”

“Well, thank you miss Rarity; but I will have a little chat with this pony over here and leave you to your work.” He raised her hoof and kissed it lightly. This got a bright blush out of Rarity when he did and she trotted off downstairs.

“Well, that didn't take long for you to find a love interest...” The yellow pony was now laying on the ground. “Well, it was the same for Jace in the long run...”

“Who are you..” Ezio's words were now cold, not as cheerful when he was talking to Rarity.

“Such hate...I am a representation of Jace...I am the pony that manifested inside of him and finally just, broke free! It took me a while but I got out when a spell went wrong a long time ago. I've been around here and there..” He put a hoof out. “Names Black Gold, I know about you Ezio. I live in the same house with you. You just never see me around since I'm around just being myself.”

Ezio reached out and shook his hoof. “It's nice to meet you...” His attention was now drawn to his wings and tail. “Metal wings and tail?”

“Huh? Oh! No, this is a special kind of feather gel that sticks wings together. It helps with the sound of the wings since their now stuck together... The black things are bracers to help when I fly. My tail is the same way, I just think it looks cool like that.”

“I see...Well, Black Gold, I must go now. I hope to see you around the house. Thank you for helping me with that stronzo.”

“You're welcome Ezio. Arrivederci amico~” He smiled as he jumped out the broken window and flew off into the sky.

“Well, this has been a very interesting day..” He walked down the stairs to see Rarity getting busy on his order. She gave him a small wave on his way out the door and he returned the gesture, closing the door behind him.

Ezio started to begin his long trek home, getting into the downtown area of the small town, when he was confronted by a pink pony.

“OHMIGOSH! You're new here! How do I know you're new here, well I know everypony, but I've never seen you before! I have to get started on a surprise party! Though it's not a surprise anymore that I told you about throwing a surprise party, so I guess that's fine! That reminds me of a funny time about telling...” Holy flying bards! This pony is pazzo! I need to get out of here before... “Ah! I gotta get that party started!” The pony ran off in a cloud of dust and Ezio coughed.

“What...What just happened?” Ezio looked around, not talking to anyone in particular. He blinked a couple times trying to comprehend what the hell just happened! A pink pony ran up and started talking at lightning fast speeds; something about a party, and then ran off. 'I really am going to need to have a stiff drink when I get back to the mansion..'

As Ezio reached the mansion, he felt happy to be back. But, there was something..Odd about the house. The lights were off. Meh, probably not home at the moment. Well, that's good! He could search the entire house without anyone telling him otherwise.

Ezio approached the door and pushed it open and was greeted with a loud SURPRISE! This was enough to make Ezio yelp and fall on his side and get laughs from the ponies in the mansion. He was helped out by Jace in getting up and he was laughing.

“Well, I should have warned you about Pinkie! She throws parties for all the newcomers in Ponyville! Looks like you're not going to get any sleep tonight Ezio!”

'….CAZZO!!'

“GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO!” The crowd chanted as Ezio downed his fifteenth mug of alcohol that night. The pony in front of him was blathering drunk at this point.

“Ave' I evah told ya about tha time I lost at drinkin'? Cause, I just deed...” The pony passed out right in front of everypony and Ezio's hoof was raised high.

“WINNER OF THE DRINKING CONTEST!” The crowd cheered as Ezio stood proud and jumped on his hind legs and blew kisses out through the crowd, laughing and having fun.

'Maybe this wasn't a bad idea after all!'

Author's Note: Yeah, short chapter...I just really wanted the party out of the way so I can get to the more fun stuff later on. Also, Black Gold, haven't mentioned him in another story. BUT HE WILL BE IN THERE. MARK MY WORDS. Kthnxbai
