Pinkie Pie trotted into Mister and Missus Cakes' bakery humming a happy tune, the bell above the entrance door chimming as she did so. "Ah. Hello Pinkie Pie," Mr.Cake greeted as Pinkie stopped in front of the counter. "Hello Mr.Cake! I was just wondering if my order came in yet," Pinkie responded gleefully.
"Ah yes. The triple, double-layered, bannana-flavored, chocolate pudding filled, rainbow sprinkled, cherry topped, strawberry frosting iced, raisin-topped cake."
"Yep! Otherwise known as," Pinkie began as she climbed on top of the cash register. She stood on it on two hooves, thrust her right forehoof forward, and shouted: "The Sugar Rush Supreme!"
"Uh...yes. About that..." Mr. Cake said nervously. Pinkie leaped off the register and stood in front of the counter; a confused look lining her face. "Wait", she began. "It's not ready yet? But you said you'd have it ready in 48 hours! And according to my watch it's been 47 hours, 29 minutes and 6 seconds."
"Yes well...We had your Sugar Rush supreme ready yesterday but..." Mrs. Cake walked in and interrupted. "Oh Pinkie Pie", she began. "I'm not sure how to tell you this but..."
"But what?" Pinkie asked innocently, eagerly awaiting an answer. The Cakes looked at each other nervously. Finally, Mr. Cake spoke up. "Pinkie...I'm afraid your cake's been stolen."
"STOLEN?!" Pinkie paniced, holding the sides of her head with her hooves. She then began frantically searching the whole bakery for the cake. She looked inside the cabinets, pastry display cases, inside the cash register, in jars and boxes, under tables, and even in the baby Cakes' crib. "OhmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmyGOSH! WHERE IS--?!"
Pinkie stopped mid-sentance and dead in her tracks; albeit in an awkward half leap posistion; as she laid eyes on the cake storage fridges. In the fridge dead-center of her gaze was a nearly empty cake fridge which was slightly adjar. The Cakes trotted next to Pinkie; who was now sitting with a shocked look on her face; and absorbed the scene as well. Cold mist spewed from the open fridge, cake frosting was spewed across the fridges floor; as well as on the tiled floor of the storage room; and cherries and strawberries were spewn carelessly around. "We didn't mess with the scene because we wanted the investigator we called in to assist us. We felt if we disturbed the scene it would jepordize the investigation."
