JD was having a rough night, his parents were really getting on his case.

"Guys, c'mon!" JD complained.

"JD, you have to understand that cartoons aren't real!" his mom told him straight-up.

"Especially, not that gay, frilly, girly, show you watch!" his stepdad said, mocking him.

"I'm not gay!" JD yelled.

"No, JD, he didn't say that, he said the show was gay." his mom explained.

"Which he's insinuating that I'm gay!" JD yelled.

"Can we stop with the screaming, J-D?" his stepdad asked, still mocking him.

"I'M NOT SCREAMING!" JD screamed. His stepfather wasn't going to put up with this anymore.

"Bye-bye!" he mocked.

"But-"

"Bye-bye!"

"DAD!-"

"Bye-bye!"

"ARRRGHHHHH!" JD finally had enough of his stepfather’s taunting.

JD stormed into his bedroom and slammed the door.

SLAM!

His mom had a talk with their stepdad after he left, "You need to stop this." his mom complained.

"It's not my fault that he likes to watch faggot shit!" He retorted.

"Honey!" mom shouted. The conversation, and I use the term loosely, kept going on and on...

JD was just laying in bed, in his black and dark blue pajamas pissed off about what He said, he's surprised that his younger brother, Devin didn't wake up when he slammed the door, he was already fast asleep before JD's (so called) conversation with his parents.

"I can't believe that dick!" JD whispered to himself, "He's such a freaking homophobe!"

JD tried to remember all of the episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, how everyone was so happy, unlike JD was tonight.

"I just wish... that MLP was real... that way, everything would be REALLY fun!" JD whispered.

He began to fall asleep, but was awoken by a dim light that was growing brighter.

"Now what ...the hell...?" JD began to ask.

He saw the now bright light and looked inside it, he saw the land wished he could be in, the land he thought was a Utopia...

He saw Equestria.

JD reached into the light to see if it was an illusion, but found himself being sucked into it like a vortex.

Devin, in his green and black pajamas began to wake up, knowing that it's still in the middle of the night, "JD, I'm tryin' ta sleep..." he mumbled.

He got up from his bottom bunk and climbed to the top bunk to get JD to go to sleep, then he saw JD getting sucked into some kind of portal.

"Oh my God, JD!" Devin shouted, losing his drowsiness instantly.

He grabbed JD's legs, trying to pull him out, but unfortunately, he got caught in the suction. They were whisked away from their world, when their mom came in to raise holy hell.

"I'm trying to sleep, you guys keep waking me up, and I'm sick of-" she stopped when she turned on the light. She saw that her two children aren't in bed. "Honey!! Get up, our kids are missing!!!"
