I have sent this letter to you because... well... by the time you get this letter, I'll be gone, dead, forever at peace... at last.
I... decided to kill myself. I bet you are wondering why I decided to do this, huh? Well...
Over the years I have had... some serious bully problems. Every pony seems to have picked on me, because of my... Derpy eyes and look. I just couldn't take it anymore!
About a week ago, I was at Sugarcube Corner, enjoying a tasty bannana muffin. I looked around, but I saw a gang of 7 teenage stallions pointing and laughing at me. I tried to ignore them, but I couldn't...
Did I really stand out that much compared to all the other ponies?
The stallions, they... came over to me. They began... punching me and laughing at me louder than before. Every other pony saw, but I didn't see any of them trying to save me. I had to fight my own fight. I had no choice but to hurt them to get away. Every other pony just carried on, like nothing had happened. I burst into tears and ran back to my home. No pony went to check on me or anything. I didn't go out in public ever since then. It was the last time I ever showed my face to some pony.
That wasn't the first time i've been bullied. I have been counting. Over the past 3 years, I have had a total of 25 bullying cases.
No pony wants me. Even when i'm at peace, no pony will ever speak about me, or visit my grave. They will just erase me out of their memory forever.
Don't feel bad Doctor Whooves. I am where I should be now. I will always be watching you from above. In fact... now will probally be the last chance I get to tell you about how I really feel about you.
You have always been by my side. You have helped me overcome some of my fears in life. I will forever be in your debt for that. You cared for me, played with me and helped me along in my dark, gloomy life. You are like a candle in the darkness, lighting up the way.

I put the letter into my black suit pocket, tears fall down my face.
I am currently in Ponyville's Local Church, at Derpy's funeral. I am in front of Derpy's coffin, cringing at the thought that she will be sealed in there, alone, forever. Why would ANY PONY at all want to hurt such a friendly, helpful mare? Sure her eyes were irregular, but was that really a reason to tease her?
It was now my turn to say a few words, on the behalf of Derpy Hooves. Tears flood down my face like a waterfall, as I am given the signal to begin.
"I... Derpy..." I give a loud cough, wipe my soaking wet eyes and clear my throat, before I try again.
"Derpy... she... was a very, very special friend to me, and others. I loved her with all my heart." I look down at the rows of morners. I see Berry Punch, Bon Bon, Lyra, even Spitfire from the Wonderbolts. Everypony is here and not a single pony I see isn't either crying or smiling up at me, with tears in their watery eyes.
"I just want to say, that... Derpy..." I turn to Derpy's coffin and smile, "I love you, so, so much. All the years that we have spent together, talking, having fun and simply being together... They have all been so special to me. I just want to say that any pony that bullied you... should feel beyond guilty, since they are the ones who brang you to... ending your misery... I wish I had the chance to express my love to you before this...I love you, Derpy... Goodbye."
I turn back to the mourners and begin crying more than I have ever cried before. I walk back to my front-row seat and sit down, between Cherilee and Colgate. They both smile at me, tears dripping down their faces. Cherilee hands me a tissue. I thank her quietly and wipe my eyes.
I still can't believe that Derpy is really gone. We are asked to stand by the unicorn preist, Gentle Spirit. We have already sung a few hymns in Derpy's honour, but I can hardly sing, I am crying so much.
After about 4 hymns, we are all asked to gather in the graveyard, at the back of the church. We gather around an empty grave, where Derpy's coffin is lowered. I sprinkle a few rose petals onto her coffin, watching them float down into the deep hole. I say my goodbyes and wipe away my tears.
Derpy is gone now.
She is no longer with me.
I solemnly walk home alone, the sun setting. I walk inside my house and slam the front door shut. I fling myself onto my sofa and begin crying so hard.
"Derpy... I want you back, Derpy!" I shriek, tears dripping into my mouth.
I hear somepony knocking on the door. I get up, wipe my eyes and open the door.
It is Princess Twilight Sparkle, smiling at me, her eyes sore and teary.
"Hi, Doctor." Twilight says, "Are you alright? That speech you said, it really touched everypony. I am really sorry for your loss."
I try to smile, but sadness catches up with me and I end up bursting into tears again. Twilight gasps and flings her front legs around me.
I end up sobbing on her front-right leg.
"I want... I want her back!" I scream into the sunset, "DERPY! I WANT YOU BACK!"
I see how loud I was and turn back to Twilight. I see her crying.
"Twilight... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to shock you." I squeeze Twilight tight.
"It's not that," Twilight replies "it's just... I feel so sorry for you and Derpy. How will you cope without her?"
"I don't know, but... I hope I'll figure something out."
I invite Twilight in. She stays until midnight. We had a really nice time together. We were talking about Derpy, and all of the good times that we, and everypony else had with her. When it was midnight, I waved to Twilight as she took off back home.
I know Derpy may be gone, and trust me, that is so hard to cope with.
But she will never be gone from my heart.
