Spike has some abnormal changes in his body, by pure coincidence Princess Celestia calls Twilight to the castle to meet important people, however, The Princess might not be saying all there is to it. What is Spike's heritage really about?

Over night Spike grows wings which causes Twilight much distress, she also receives a letter about having to meet ponies from a far off land that might help with her predicament, but what exactly lies in store for the young mare and her friends? Only time will tell where this will lead not just her, but Spike the dragon as well.
