Beaten, tortured, humiliated, and broken by their Equestrian masters, human slaves everywhere toil away like they have for the past thousand years. A young man who only knows himself as a number finally finds a chance to escape from the bonds of slavery after a long twenty years. He is chased through Equestrian soil like a rabid dog until, by a miracle, he managed to get away.

After a lot of unforeseen circumstances, he ends up in the care of six new ponies bewildered by his violent and sudden arrival. Will he be able to forget and put the past behind him and start a new life? Or will the years of being treated like an animal convince him that he is nothing more than that?
