Spike Has Woken

When you sleep for one-hundred years its hard to dream... you start to lose focus, a gloom of broken hope and failed dreams you wanted accomplish resonate around you. My mind begins to wander and all the while I've have been in one place for a century. All the things that I could have done differently, like gone with Twilight on adventures when I was just a little bit to tired. I even could have tried to talk to Rarity more... she was so beautiful, flowing lavender hair, an amazing outfit whenever she went out. I hate thinking about it, my body is so weak from a long slumber, I can just feel a tear running down my face. Its been a century and I think I'm ready to leave this sleep! I can't wait to go see Twilight and Rarity and everypony else! Wow a smile, its been so long since that has happened, with all my might I try to open my eyes, I would have never thought waking up would be this hard! C'mon my soul shouts to my body! Then with a sudden jolt I slowly open the crusted lids that impaired my vision. Finally I'm awake and I can leave this Celestia forsaken cave, ugh its been one-hundred since I've moved these old legs, I chuckled to myself. Something seemed wrong, the cave was gloomy and the sun didn't shine at the entrance? Well that's weird usually Rainbow would be right on those clouds, happiness shines on my face remembering that awesome attitude and smile, and who could forget how twenty percent cool she wanted everything... I make my way to the edge of my cave overlooking the small town of Ponyville, it just doesn't feel right. "Hello!" I shouted, no response, where is everypony? Not a moment to soon Princess Celestia is by my side. "Princess! Its so great to see you" I exclaimed, "Oh Spike, Its been so long." she said sadly, "What is wrong Princess? Has something happened?" worried I ask, "Indeed, I have grown old and I have waited, I have waited for you Spike, I didn't want you to be alone when you emerged from sleep." sorrow fills her eyes as a tear rolls down her face. "Oh Princess please don't cry! I'm not alone, I still have Twilight and Rainbow, Pinkie, Fluttershy, oh and who could forget Rarity.... Right?" I shout, "Spike I'm sorry" she says, "Wha- What do you mea-, wait, you don't mean!" I say panicked, "I'm truly sorry Spike, they all waited as long as they could just to simply say goodbye, they are gone." tears flowing down her face now, "What have I done... Its all my fault and this STUPID dragon sleep! I'm so stupid, I should have waited!" I scream, "All is not lost Spike, before all of them passed they each left something near your old bed, now Spike I'm sorry to have to do this but I need to go now, please know this, they all loved you very much." she says, "Wait no, I have more questions! Dont g-" she was gone...
