"Whew the forecasters where right for once it's like a sauna out here" I say to my neighbors, after all I did offer to fix their bikes for the blistering summer so it's only right I strike up conversation,
"you'll never guess what the BBC forecaster just said: for the next week we got another heatwave!!" explained Harold to me, in return I explain what was wrong with their bikes and declined the offer of money
"Hey I'm your neighbor and mate so we'll say mates rates and call it even shall we?" I calculated wiping sweat and oil from my head. It started to get dark 'well it is about 9' I think to myself and head off to my house or at least I try to when i hear a BOOMING voice

"Why don't I show you instead?" whispered Luna as if I where going to go somewhere but before I could interject I saw what seemed to be a white light appear in my living room when it started to fluctuate with red, yellow and blue then all colors while giving off a slight whistle when the whistle started to get louder and louder until I felt as though my ears would bleed.... And that's all I remember before... well blacking out right there and then.
"Ugh..." I tried to speak but that was all i could make out before, well I don't know what to call this:

Everything was blurry so all I knew was that this "thing" was pink-ish then a blue-ish "thing" tackled it to the ground shouting
"SHUT UP PINKIE, PLEASE!!"
"Thanks I guess" I stutter out while looking at the blue-ish blob. As I stared it slowly but surely became a... PONY?! A TALKING PONY?!?! the fact that it was BLUE with RAINBOW hair was ridiculously ridiculous. I had heard about dying your pet horse a color but this was stupid.
"What are you?"
"We could ask the same about you" Puzzled an orange pony with three apples tattooed onto it's butt, It also wore a stetson
"I'm a human,what are you?"
"Well ah'm an Earth pony and what's a human?" Questioned the orange pony
"I'll tell you later." even though it was blatant that I wasn't planning to
"I'm a Pegasus and also don't trust you, thing!" I could say the same about it
"I'm an alicorn..."
"You are an alicorn? the one who brought me here was an alicorn I... I think?" I state rubbing my head at this point I look around and notice that I am inside a tree, no a library no wait, BOTH? I'm gonna have to learn more about this place I am in.
"You what? Who was it? What was her name?"
"L-Luna" I'm getting freaked at this point after all there's six talking and completely unique looking ponies with tattoos on their butts.
"B-but w-why w-would she do that?" whispered the yellowy one of the six
"I don't Quite know dear I belie..." Began the white pony,
"WAIT!! 1: where am I 2: who are you and 3: Why do you all have pictures on your butts?"

"Rainbow Dash don't be so rude!! I guess I just told you her name mine is Twilight Sparkle I'm going to explain our cutie marks later on." Twilight interrupted
"My name, darling, is Rarity." Sated the white pony quite full of herself
"F-Fluttershy." the yellowy one, Fluttershy, seems to get quite nervous around strangers and what could be more strange than me they have obviously never seen a human before, but I wonder why?
"Hello-my-name-is-Pinkie-Pie-we-met-earlier WOO!! NEW PONYVILLE RESIDENT PAAAARTAAAAY!"
"Now what's your name human?" inquired rainbow dash very aggressively
"Jack" I wanted to say my full name but noticed that it was getting dark "may I ask for a place to stay?." at this they all seemed to get exited except for rainbow dash who just muttered something under her breath which i didn't hear and that's when i figured that they all wanted me to stay at their houses except of course rainbow dash.

My eyes open quickly as I wonder what happened the previous night then I notice a yellowy hoof nearby and realize what had happened I had chosen to go to Fluttershy's house to stay the night so I get up and leave a note saying
"Going to sweet apple acres to get some money bits" as I wrote it i heard a soft yawn, it was kind of cute but i took that as my sign to leave
"Fluttershy? Jack? Y'all there?"
"Oh hey Applejack, Fluttershy is asleep." I explain quietly I also take this opportunity to ask about how I can earn some cas.. er bits
"Oh hey Jack call me AJ!"
"Okay App.. erm AJ" gonna take a while to get used to name of these ponies "I was wondering how can I get bits?"
"Well Sugarcube corner is taking in new bakers or 'Ah need help at the farm." She explained

"I'll take the farm please: I just remembered I can't cook to save my life" I said very quickly realizing that I don't want another run in with Pinkie Pie. So we left and headed towards Sweet Apple Acres, on the way we see a lot of ponies who upon noticing me started to stare, either because I was a human Or because I was asking a lot about the history of Equestria and about the ponies who live in Ponyville
"...An' there y'are where just lying in Twilight's place with a note on you saying about giving you a job at someplace! Ah there we go here she is: Sweet Apple Acres."
"You're gonna be doing some good ole' apple bucking. But first lemme introduce you to... Big Mac... Granny Smith and little Applebloom!!!"
"Ah ain't little" Squeaked the [what according to AJ is a] filly. Now this will be a long day...
