Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Spike's Adventures in Duel Academy

Obelisk Blue Dorm, Duel Academy

October 31st

8:00 P.M.

Our protagonist, dressed as Delsin Rowe (Hero), was enjoying the Halloween party that Chancellor Sheppard and the headmasters organized for the students. Despite the majority of the guests being students, there were several teachers that got into the Halloween spirit, such as Fonda Fontaine, who was dressed up as Nurse Reficule the Fallen One.

"How do you find this event, my apprentice?" Mahado asked, while he wore the armor he used when baptized with the title of Knight.

"I find it interesting, master. It reminds me of those Nightmare Nights, although I couldn't experience trick-or-treating, despite that-"

"Look everybody, I'm Charmander!" Yelled a Ra Yellow named Tyler.

"You dork, you're wearing an orange Yoshi costume!" Answered a Slifer Red who wore a Samurai Suit as a costume. After that was said, Spike swore he saw a TARDIS quickly appear and disappear.

"So Mana, are you enjoying this party?" the Dragon-Blood asked. Mana, who was dressed as Cinderella, answered:

"Yes, I love these kind of parties, they're so fun!" After this was said, the three former animatronics got close to the group. Foxy was Tennant Dan, Bonnie was a Ringmaster and Chica was dressed as Samus from Metroid: Other M.

"It's been time since I've been able to enjoy one of these parties, laddies!" Foxy said in a cheerful tone.

"I agree Foxy, we didn't have this much fun since '87," Bonnie added, in a mellow yet cheerful tone.

"I'll be right back, I need to find the food," Chica said. As she left, the group simultaneously said:

"Chica," in the sense of her strange eating antics. Suddenly, someone came behind Spike and said:

"Hi there." It was Alexis, and she was dressed as Palutena (we don't know why, but what can you do about it?).

"Oh, hi Alexis," Spike said, feeling nervous. For this part, we'll call his consciences Zarathos (Father in his mind, and giving life advice when needed, coded blue) and Lucifer (the one who brings the light, yet is a bit mischievous, coded red).

Ack, what do I do now?!

She now has a regal air around her, adding to her beauty. What I suggest is-

That you crack a joke concerning her appearance!

Awkward Silence

What?

"Um, uh.. You know what? I can't put  a description of your appearance into words." Taking a pause to find the correct words he finally described her:

"It is not something bad, instead, you look beautiful. In fact, even more beautiful than how you normally look," Spike finally said, relieved of saying his thoughts clearly, but worried at the outcome.

"Thank you Spike, I didn't expect you to say that," Alexis answered, with a slight blush on her cheeks.

"Why wouldn't I say that? I mean, look at you."

"It's just that, I-" she broke down into tears.

Grab her hands and don't let go, son! Zarathos said in Spike's mind. The drake quickly grabbed her hands, and as he grabbed them, he saw her face melt away. Then, he heard her and saw several images, all while she was narrating the cause of her sadness:

When I was a little girl, Atticus was my world. After school and homework, we would duel each other or play some other game like tag. He would mainly use a card called 'Swing of Memories', but in school... THEY would bully me. There was a group of classmates that would pick on me because back then, I was small and weak. I tried to ignore them, but one day, they pushed me too far. I broke out and went against them, using physical strength to try and get them to leave me alone, but I lost. The academy called my parents, and while my mother was shocked, my father was enraged, and he scolded me for the scandal I had caused. One day, while I was in my room, Atticus entered and saw me. I was sad, but one way or another, he would cheer me up. I would go to ballet, for it was a passion I once had, and upon seeing it, my brother gave me the Cyber Girl deck I now use. Christmas vacation came by, and I slowly became better at Duel Monsters. When I went back to school, the ones who bullied me were going to catch up on the time they couldn't bully me, so I challenged them to a duel. One by one, I defeated them, and from that day on, I became what I now am, all thanks to Attie.

The two woke up, only to see several students huddled.

"Let go of my cake!" Chica yelled.

"Now young one, didn't your mother teach you to not fight over food?" an older female voice lectured.

"Cereza, is she really worth it?" Jeanne asked.

"She'll be worth my heels!" Bayonetta exclaimed while doing a roundhouse kick and shooting a bullet at Chica, yet she dodged the bullet. Several of the students started running away, while Spike asked:

"What is going on?"

"This young one decided to fuss over pastries, boy. Can you prepare some quality tea? I'm sure your tea is as good as your looks," Bayonetta said, in a seducing yet playful tone.

"What kind of witchcraft is this?" Burstinatrix asked.

"Umbra, to be precise," Jeanne answered.

"Why you-"

"How about we discuss this right now!" As Jeanne and Burstinatrix charged at each other, several shots were heard, stopping them. The shots had come from two pistols, wielded by a white-haired man.

"The only good part about Halloween is that the witches come out tonight, because killing Demons for 52 weeks does get boring," Dante said, as he put Ebony and Ivory into their respective holsters.

"And who are you, boy?" Bayonetta asked.

"I am Dante, Slayer of Demons, and I have come to end you two."

"How cute, a demon-human hybrid that slays demons and now hunts witches," Jeanne answered.

"How about we deal with this the way things are done here?" Dante suggested.

"I couldn't agree more," Cereza answered, while pulling a lollie from a candy bowl and putting it into her mouth.

"It would be two against one, it is highly unfair for you," Jeanne added.

"Then I'll join in," Spike said, as he walked to Dante's side.

"What is your name, kid?" Dante asked.

"Spike, why do you ask?" the drake answered.

"Well, sorry Spike," the Hybrid said, while shooting Spike with Ebony and Ivory. The drake faded away, only to re-materialize from smoke.

"What happened?"

"Before we begin, I'm going to give you a few pointers on how to use Synchro monsters and Xyzs. Synchro monster are..." A few minutes later...

"Oh, okay."

"Let's rock, baby!" Bayonetta exclaimed, as she and Jeanne extended a Scarborough each, which then materialized into Duel Disks, Bayonetta's being blue and Jeannne's being Purple and Silver.

"Hey, that's my phrase!" Dante answered, as he extended his sword Rebellion, which then turned into a silver-colored Duel Disk. Then, the four exclaimed:

"LET'S DUEL!"

1. Bayonetta

"Ladies first, boys. I'll set a monster along with two cards in my Spell and Trap Card Zone, thus ending my turn. Your move, dear."

1. Dante

"Alright, time to- oh wait, you stole my catchphrase," Dante said, looking at Bayonetta.

"You're too handsome to be a demon, what can I do about it?" she answered.

"Anyways, I'll summon Infernity Necromancer in Defense Mode (2000 DEF), and I'll play Foolish Burial to send Plaguespreader Zombie from my Deck to my Graveyard, but I'll activate it's effect: by sending a card from my hand to the top of my deck, I can Special Summon it from the Graveyard! Now, by tributing my Necromancer and my Zombie, I'll summon a Level 5 Synchro Monster, T.G. Hyper Librarian, in Attack Mode (2400 ATK). I'll end my turn for now."

1. Jeanne

"I will simply Special Summon Dark Grepher (1600 DEF) by discarding Archfiend Emperor, The First Lord of Horror. Then, by discarding my Archfiend Heiress, I can send a DARK monster from my Deck to my Graveyard, and I choose my Armaggedon Knight. Since my Heiress was sent to the Graveyard, I can add an Archfiend from my Deck to my Hand, and I choose my Mad Archfiend. With that, I end my turn."

1. Spike

"My move. I summon Harpie Channeler in Attack Mode (1400 ATK) and I'll activate its effect: by discarding a Harpie, I can Special Summon a Harpie from my Deck, and I choose my Harpie Queen in Defense Mode (1200 DEF), which is due to the effect. I'll end my turn with two face-downs."

1. Bayonetta

"I'll activate-"

"I play a Trap, Icarus Attack! By tributing my Harpie Queen, I can destroy up to 2 cards, and I choose your first Set Spell/Trap card and Jeanne's Dark Grepher!"

"What a shame, you activated it too early. I'll activate my Field Spell, Ghostrick Museum!"
