As a former Equestrian Soldier, I have seen many things in the battlefield, yet I lost so many in and out of it. Let's have a beginning, shall we? I was your average Guard Captain, that is, until I met her: Princess Mi Amore Cadenza. She was a nice mare, and I ended up falling in love with her. We ended up getting married, but before marrying, there was an incident with Changelings. The incident was solved, and we married. Time passes until the Crystal Empire returned, and we went to go save it from King Sombra, a tyrant whose mind was controlled by an insanity over crystals. Thanks to Spike and the Elements of Harmony, we saved the Crystal Heart and restored the Empire's power. Things were going smooth until one day Princess Cadence divorced me, and I was exiled from the Crystal Empire. I went back to Canterlot, only to find out that my parents passed away, so I joined the Equestrian Military. I formed part of a squad known as "Celestia's Paladins", which was leaded by Flash Sentry, better known as Twilight Sparkle's boyfriend. We were marauding here and there, and I planned on retiring since I decided to settle down, find myself a nice dragoness or a gryphon, and have some foals, hatchlings, or whatsoever came out. All of that was taken away when a bomb took me out, taking me to the Afterlife. I thought that was the end of me, until I met someone by the name of Rosalina. She gave me a regeneration, which would rejuvenate me, but in exchange, I had to change my body. Time has passed, and although I wasn't prepared for these radical changes, I'm still alive, and for once in many years, I'm happy. Now, as I observe the galaxy from my window, with the person who trained me to be prepared for this world, and now the woman I truly love, known as Samus Aran, I wonder how her parents will be once we land on Planet Zebes. My name is Shining Armor, and these are my adventures with Samus, the bounty hunter who has the fame of scaring aliens whenever her name is mentioned.
